  • Follow all rules listed here.​
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.​
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.​
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.​
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.​
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.​
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.​

SV Ubers: Fogbound Lake vs Fc
Def a highlight, fog is more creative so I think the pressure Is on him to bring the fight to fc. Fc is favoured imo, after convincing beating rmp, but flake could always just outprep fc or at least catch him off guard. This meta is completly new as well, tho I expect both players to bring something more on the balanced side and not try to just use screens or something, tho I might be completly wrong here. Overall, this one is super close and will be one I watch

SV UU: justdrew vs udongirl

This one is tough for udon, drew has been very clean overall and udongirl has yet to find her footing in the tournament. Im unsure if its a prep or a meta issue but the creativity I saw with them in gen 8 just isnt as there, not to say the teams are bad but when making a skill gap In game, having unorthodox option can be a big help (see the game above). Drew will prob try to play it safe cuz this is def a mu where the dirges are favoured.

SV RU: MichaelderBeste2 vs Plas

Idt having MDB2 in ru of all tiers is a great choice but like hes still quite good. Plas has struggled for sure, im unsure if hes receiving the support he would need in order to reverse course, hes a good player but the pieces dont seem to be connecting here.

SV NU: Togkey vs Piyush25

Nu is def the tier that was affected the most by tier shifts (not home, just shift). Losing 2 extremely key pivoting pokemons. Tog is a better builder for sure, but in a such a fresh meta it might be harder for them to be as fool proof on the team building side. Idk as much about Piyush but ik theirs some hype behind them. Still ill go with the Mainer here

SV PU: tlenit vs Tenebricite

I played both of these guys and they are both top half of the pool for sure. Tlenit beat me and lost to Danny, while tenebricite had it vice versa. Playstyle wise I would give Tlenit the edge depending on his approach. Tenebricite has been building pretty solidly overall but he does have clear structure tendencies and hes more prone to being prone to being mu checked by some odd threat. Tlenit unorthodox style could be a strength here for sure, if he prep well I could see him getting a good mu. Playing wise, they are both very solid, no real discernable diff on that end at least. Im also kinda grasping at straws here, dont get me wrong, this one is super close, and also a personal highlight

SV LC: Greedy_eb vs Hacker
This is a fun one for me cuz im friend with both of them. Post home is gonna be a real dog fight and I think the skill of these player will be over shadowed by just how awful lc is. Hacker has been overall the cleaner player in game so far, with overall better playing abilities than greedy imo. This one feels like hacker should win but holy shit is this tier not consistent

SV UU: TMM vs Shiba
These two have had similar strengths of schedule, and tmm only loss was unfortunate to say the least lol. I dont have much insight on this one Shiba was more accomplished in ss, but in sv id give both of these players a good shot.

SV RU: TheFranklin vs mj
I think thefranklin is a better player, with this tour its hard to say, I feel like MJ has beaten the player Id expect them to beat and lost to the player you would expect them to lose too, losing to crying isnt a bad loss for sure but Franklin Is undefeated for a reason lol.

SV NU: Fluore vs Irene-2002
Irene has been doing well in a lot of indivs, while I havent really seen fluore actually play much. Gotta root fr the player for whom I have more info

SV PU: Ryuji vs DugZa
Dugza is def better imo, tho the record def doesnt reflect that. Ryuji has had good wins and weird losses, with somewhat weird teams all things considered. He seems to somehow be doing better vs stronger players lol. I think pre wise ryuji has been more creative and might give a more traditional player a tough time basically.

SV LC: Kebab mlml vs Lokifan
The traditional (ex) lc main in me wants to say a non Mainer will never ever win. Tho realistically this might not be the case, I still think odds are kebab will play very well and then get randomly fucked over and will never touch lc again. Kebab is the stronger player in a vacuum but lc is just a whack beast. Tho the recency of the meta will prob work in kebabs favour. Important to note tho that Idt he has strong building support, to that I think it matters in this meta.


SV Ubers: Mashing vs GeniusFromHoenn
hoenn will bring broken ass cheese and win, thats my call here

SV UU: Rasche vs Slip
Rasche is 2-0 while slip is winless, idk much about these guys either sorry uu players

SV RU: Danny vs Elfuseon
If I speak ill be in trouble :worrywhirl: , jokes aside Idt elfu is super motivated rn+ Danny beat me so hes good in the queb mu

SV NU: Latias vs Xiri
Xiri good (and idk latias much sorry)

SV PU: Axrtix vs Yes or no my dude
Arxitix has been very impressive in NU, so I think they will win
