Tournament BLT XII - Manager Signups

Manager: StreetBoom

Team Name: Lakeside Pikachus

List of Accomplishments: Currently Room Owner of the Tournaments room, played on the last edition of the World Cup Of Pokemon, managed a team in Tpp and competed in another huge amount of tours. From Monotype Seasonal to OST.

TheIronPikachu is currently a Moderator in the Tournaments room, played in LCPL and won LCBC.

Why would you make a Good Manager?: Both of us are fairly knowledgable on the tiers of this tour and will provide as much help as possible to our future players. We will also make sure that we can provide a fun time and good experience to the entire team.

Team name: Bayern Munchlax (bringing back my first blt team)

List of accomplishements: I won the most recent edition of TLT, and i have played in many other team tours including scl, blt, and a large amount of lc team tours.

As such i believe i would be a good manager because

1. I am up to date on most lower tiers, i won tlt with basically no support and was able to build many teams each round, as such i think i would be able to help the lower tier core well and consistently.

2. i am well versed in both knowing the playerbase in the tours room and other communities, i put a lot of effort into teambuilding but that will ofc extend to drafting players. I will be very active during the tournament since it aligns almost perfectly with school.

I know im not the best at dou and national dex, so i opted to team up with someone who has extensive knowledge of both, being toxinalpaca.

He has managed ndfl and ndbd to playoffs, doubles derby to win, and sdtt to finals, and hgpl to playoffs as well as managing oufl, dpl, and more.

As such i think i think we have a good combined knowledge of every tier and most of the playerbase

List of Accomplishments: The Pangoros dominated BLT X's main season and reached the finals. I was Tours staff for a long time and hosted BLT three years ago. I also won PSPL X as RU & Mono support for Tours room and have played in various team tours such as RUPL, NUSD, and others.

I’m especially happy to see randbats included this year, since I co-(shadow)managed Team Benelux to a runner-up and a championship finish in back-to-back WCORs. I also just finished managing RBTT, where I had an excellent draft—though, unfortunately, some statistically great players had an off-season.

Quinn is a well-known name in the LC scene, has qualled for multiple iterations of BLT, and played in the tour last year. Outside of the Tours room community, he has been in more custom avatar team tours than I can count, including SCL. On top of that, Quinn managed LCBC, PMPL, and recently won OUFL as a manager, so he is no stranger to running teams either.

Why would you make a Good Manager?: Quinn knows tons of players from the tours he’s been in, and I know the drafting process like the back of my hand. We’re both experienced managers and ready to bring home the trophy for the Pangoros. Third time’s the charm!

PokeArt2004 - Managed in the last 4 iterations of TPP (without missing playoffs), successfully lead the Limasawa Litwicks to victory in TPP VI, participated in every BLT and TPP since 2019, participated in 6 TLTs

Terracotta - Runner-up in TLT VIII, competed in every UPL since 2019 as both a player and manager, managed in Ubers Most Wanted, competed in 3 BLTs, competed twice in OMPL, CAPPL and PSPL, competed in Smogon Exhibition

Why we would make good managers:

PokeArt2004 - I've now had 4 very successful and fun years managing for TPP, and as someone who has competed in the last 6 BLTS as a player, I've been hoping to bring the managing experience from TPP to BLT. As a manager in TPP, I've been able to help in fostering a positive team environment and I believe I'd be able to do the same if given the chance to manage here. I am competitive and always motivated to win, but value the players having fun first and foremost. I am very attentive to the team chat/server as well as my players and I do my best to check on them and see how their prep is going or if they need help. If help is needed, I can provide it through my own methods or by inviting outside expertise. Though I lack solid ability to build or assist with building, this weakness is made up for by my co-manager, who is an excellent builder. Finally, I make it a point to be an approachable manager and encourage players to speak up if there are any problems.

Terracotta - Terra is a chill person in general who tries his best to make everyone happy when managing. He can actively help players in both team building and testing and has a lot of mons experience overall.

I have been leading France during the UU and NU World Cup and have managed in multiple tournaments such as PTPL, HPL, CNPL, BSSPL, UUbersPL, UMPL, UUSD, RUPL, and many more.

Since I started managing tournaments on Smogon in 2023, I’ve built a solid and proven track record. I won the UUFPL, reached the finals of the Spanish PL (EPL) in 2023 before claiming the title in 2024, won the NFE PL, and most recently secured victory in the Teamballo (Italian PL).

This time, I’m teaming up with Lolo, someone I’ve shared incredible success with. Together, we reached the finals of the UUFPL and made back-to-back finals in the Spanish PL, winning it once. Individually, Lolo has also proven to be an outstanding manager, leading Latam to the UUWC finals and played in the prestigious RBTT.

As managers, we believe deeply in the potential of every player. We know that motivation, preparation, and mutual support are the true keys to success. We always put our heart into creating the best possible environment for our team, ensuring that every player can perform at their absolute best, and together, we achieve greatness. We are motivate to write another page of our story together, waiting for the opportunity to prove it.

Team Name: Jubilife Jirachies
List of Accomplishments: BLT 6 Champion, ALT PL Champion 2024, WCOP Top 8 (Team UK's first in 10 years), PSPL Champion, Experience From ROAPL, BLT 4 and ADVPL. BLT 5 Semi Finals.
Why would you make a good manager?: I am very motivated this year to manage another team tournament, BLT has always been a tournament close to my heart ever since I participated as a player for BLT 2 and managing in BLT 4, 5 and 6.
I have multiple years of experience managing team tours and over those 8+ years, I have learned many skills from making spreadsheets for my draft plan, gathering a bunch of information such as gathering Replays, Tournament Results Links and Ladder Stats.
Reaching out to players pre-draft shows you have an high interest in a player and you can gather how motivated they will be to play for your team or you ask them if have any needs such as team building support.
Tryouts are great for newer players to make a name for themselves and show how motivated they will be if they get selected.
Finally, man management is all about making sure your players are happy, motivated, helping them schedule and understanding if they have any irl commitments to attend to.
If my lack of tier knowledge is a concern. I will be happy to learn each individual tier to get a basic idea on how the tier operates and learn the best threats and teras.

Stareal will be my partner in crime for a gem of a team - Jubilife Jirachies
Stareal as a manager has made it to the Semi-Finals in BLT whilst managing Jubilife Jirachies. He is currently competing in SPL and has already played in SCL, SPL and WCOP. For team achievements but as a player; he has won PSPL, SMPL, UMPL, made finals of SSPL, made semi finals of UbersUUPL and made semi finals for SCL. For achievements as a individual player; he has won Charity Bowl, Made BW Cup Finals, Won Oras GC, Qualified to Smogon Classic playoffs and made it to the quarter finals, Qualified to smogon tour playoffs and made top 4, Won Tundra Cup and finally made it to the finals in TLT.

As you can see, Stareal has played many different tiers at a top level and is very experienced and familiar with players that have played in BLT and TLT whenever he is a player or managing.
