Pet Mod Book of Enigmas - Slate 3: Same But Different Maybe?

Name: Flaming Flora
Original Pokemon: Sunflora
Role: Special Wallbreaker, Special Tank
Type: Grass / Fire
Ability: Cleansing Fire
Stats: 101 / 63 / 71 / 133 / 115 / 89 | 570
Paradox: Sky
New Moves: Overheat, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Will-O-Wisp
Removed Moves: Rain Dance
Description: Sunflora, except actually a sun! The flower has been replaced with a fiery core surrounded by flaming orange petals. The smiling face is now angry with its flaming rage!
Competitive Description: Can work as either an offensive Choice abuser or a wall/tank with its good typing. It can abuse sun on offensive sets to power up its Fire-type moves and use Solar Beam, while also taking advantage of its good coverage in Earth Power and massive 133 SpA stat. Flaming Flora can also be a decent wall or tank with good support moves in Will-O-Wisp and Leech Seed, very solid special bulk, and recovery options in Synthesis and Giga Drain. However, its poor Defense stat can make it hard to handle physical attackers, even with its high HP stat and defensive investment. Its middling speed tier also makes offensive sets easily revenge killed unless holding a Choice Scarf, which significantly diminishes its power.

Name: Lunar Star
Original Pokemon: Clefairy
Role: Physical Wall, Choice Abuser
Type: Fairy / Ghost
Ability: Cleansing Fire
Stats: 111 / 81 / 111 / 113 / 99 / 55 | 570
Paradox: Sky
New Moves: Hex, Earth Power, Power Gem, Shadow Claw, Shadow Punch, Curse, Destiny Bound
Removed Moves: Soft-Boiled, Heal Bell
Description: The entire body is now gray and white now, resembling a moon. Eyes are replaced with bright blue stars and the mouth is an omnious black hole. Lunar's star like figure is less prominent, with the ears, arms, and feet sticking out less and are more round to represent moon rocks. The entire body is much more spherical, with a giant forehead, showing its larger brain power. The Pokemon's tail is replaced by a tail of sparkling light coming out of it, representing a comet.
Competitive Role: Aside from Soft-Boiled and Heal Bell, it has basically the same movepool as Clefable, meaning tuns of support moves, letting it serve as a great wall. The increased bulk and added-on Ghost typing also gives it a niche. It can also serve as a Choice Specs abuser with its decent SpA stat and great coverage, but this undermines Lunar Star's defensive qualites. However, it's still quite slow.

Name: Frigid Fang
Original Pokemon: Lapras
Role: Special Tank, Set-up Sweeper, Special Wallbreaker, Choice Abuser
Type: Ice / Dragon
Ability: Corrupting Storm
Stats: 160 / 54 / 80 / 106 / 96 / 74 | 570
New Moves: Draco Meteor, Earth Power, Moonblast, Aurora Veil, Haze, Calm Mind, Recover
Removed Moves: None
Description: It's a loch-ness monster! Much more serpentine with a longer neck, while the colors are a brighter blue. Shell at the back is replaced with an icy one, with icicles sticking out.
Competitive Description: Basically just beta Kyreum but more balanced. It trades a significant loss in speed and power with more bulk and a better movepool. The best option is just to do a Calm Mind set, using its bulk to set up, as its initial power is a bit disappointing for Choice Specs sets, but they can also be used. Freeze-Dry + Earth Power is usually good enough coverage, allowing it to use Recover as well. But, the defensive typing is still bad, even with all of that bulk, and that poor speed and middling initial power do leave a lot to be desired.

Name: Venomous Ray
Original Pokemon: Mantine
Role: Special Wall, Offensive Defog
Type: Flying / Poison
Ability: Corrupting Storm
Stats: 102 / 40 / 72 / 112 / 134 / 110 | 570
New Moves: Sludge Wave, Sludge Bomb, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Discharge, Toxic, Toxic Spikes
Removed Moves: Scald, All Rock-type moves
Description: The manta ray becomes more of a sting ray with a sharp needle-like tail. The overall body is sharper and shaped like a jet, with fumes that spill out toxic fumes, letting it fly or swim at high speeds.
Competitive Description: With its very solid defensive typing and good support movepool, it serves best as a special wall, but it can also run offensive sets due to its good SpA and Speed, alongside Defog for support. However, its poor Defense makes it vulnerable to physical attackers, and has a few annoying weaknesses such as Ice and Electric.

Name: Qwilfish
Original Pokemon: Static Bell
Role: offensive pivot, defensive pivot, HO lead
Type: Poison/Electric
Ability: Cleansing Fire
Stats: 111 / 113 / 85 / 69 / 83 / 109 [570]
Paradox: Sky

New Moves: Static Stampede*, Explosion, Zing Zap, Wild Charge, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Volt Switch
Removed Moves:

Description: So the point of this sub was to address Dire Claw spam, and the typing here leaves it immune to two of Dire Claw's outcomes, while also resisting Sneasler's offensive movepool. It also enables new kinds of status spam due to a sig move with a 50% chance of paralysis. Stats open up lots of pivoting options and the typing is good defensively for pivoting in addition to having a good offensive spread. As an HO lead, it sets up Spikes before booming while Taunting their attempts to do the same. EQ weakness is obviously the largest flaw and its special bulk leaves it exploitable there. Has enough SpDef bulk to also deal with Clef and Taunting Clef sounds good in my head.

Visually, picture Qwilfish being held by its tail, swaying back and forth like a bell.

*Static Stampede: Electric clone of Barb Barrage for paralysis.

This creature that seems pulled out straight from an oldwives tale, is said to be Ho-Oh's vizier by those who claim to have met it.

Description:
"A Spoon-Armored Scout?"

The elderly owner of a DayCare for pokemon in a Route close to Goldenrod reported to the City Police that their house was being broken into by an "Agile, armored ruffian" as stated by the senior citizen. The description of the man lead the detective on the case to believe that this incident was not isolated, as in the last month, several reports have come up stating practically the same, in the middle of the night, the light rustling of metal is heard, and in the morning, most of the cutlery on the house was missing. Specially, the spoons. Not a lot of people can claim to have caught a glimpse of the thief, but the ones who did, claim that the rustling of metal that could be compared to a Wind Chime is due to the perpetrator wearing an armor made of all the spoons it has stolen. It is also said to have a shining, long silver moustache from where forks hang like fish just caught.

Competitive Description: mid bulk Choice Abuser, lack of a truly good psychic stab limits this, run CM if ur insane.

Description:
" A Healing Houndoom..."

Said to have been directly blessed by Ho-Oh, this Triple-Headed Pokemon inhabits one of the highest peaks in Johto, close to Mt. Mortar.
This Pokemon's fire has healed several travelers mortal wounds, and restored their vitality, riddling them of any tiredness, while being warm as a summer breeze.
Rumours even circle around Johto's south region about a Tyranitar that disturbed the Cerberus to take hold of the mountain , and was then quickly ejected from the peak like a bird taking flight.
If not disturbed, and approached kindly, this Pokemon will act as a resting point, a healer, a Cleric. Otherwise, it'll face you with some of the attacks that only the fiercest of warriors can tolerate without fainting.

"A Hunting Anemone?"
This Seadra's wing-like pectoral fins seem to end in appendixes that resemble anemones instead of spikes, and instead of poison they seem to have gained the paralyzing properties of anemones, harvesting coral is specially dangerous in the Cherrygrove City Coast this creature inhabits, because getting paralyzed by scaring this otherwise docile Pokemon has no cure yet.

Competitive Description: Jack of All Trades, can be a defogger, choice, even a DD sweeper w boltbeam coverage if u want

New Pokemon: Dazzling Wings
Original: Aerodactyl
Ability: Cleansing Fire
Roles: Fast Rock, Offensive Fairy
Typing:

Stats: 85/105/87/75/87/131

Added Moves: Play Rough, Spirit Break, Moonblast, Stone Axe (the gen 9 one)
Removed Moves: Dragon Dance

Role: Dazzling Wings acts as a simple but effective Fast Physical Attacker. Using items such as Choice Band or Life Orb help it by boosting it's offensive power. It can also help it's team with Hazard control using Stone Axe, by setting up Stealth Rocks and dealing some damage.

Flavor: Aerodactyl but with a beak and a cool Crest. The rocks coming from it's body now become some pretty crystals ig.

people seem to be confused one what a good cleric is so heres my take:

clerics are mons that use heal bell or aromatherapy to cure status. they are almost exclusively used on stall teams but might see occasional use on very fat balance/semistall teams when the wincon is an extremely bulky sweeper (think unaware cm clef, cosmic power deo-d, cosmic power mew, etc.) thus a good cleric is one whose defensive utility synergizes well with a bulky archetype.

:sv/chansey::sv/blissey::sv/clefable:
these are great clerics. they have pseudo or full status immunity, or are immune to stat boosting. these are very valuable traits that ease its use of heal bell by easing its need to use heal bell repeatedly (it doesn't have much pp) or reducing its passivity to prevent opponents from setting up in its face.

:sv/altaria::sv/diancie::sv/aromatisse::sv/florges::sv/miltank::sv/umbreon:
these are some clerics you might find in lower tiers. they dont have the same utility as the above mons but they mostly work as clerics in lower tiers because of their general good bulk, (usual) access to recovery, and decent typing. its important to note that for a good amount of these mons heal bell is one of few utility moves in their movepool (i.e. aromatisse, florges, umbreon) so they become clerics useable even on balance teams. of course this doesnt matter too much here because you choose what movepool your submission gets, but if you want to force a cleric that's an option.

:sv/polteageist::sv/tsareena::sv/hatterene::sv/celebi:
these mons have heal bell/aromatherapy but never run it. why? they either have poor defensive utility or would much rather run other sets. polteageist/tsareena/hatterene are much better suited with offensive sets and also lack the bulk or longevity to fit on defensive teams. celebi, while having both bulk, longevity, and utility, is ill-suited to be a cleric due to its poor typing creating more problems than it resolves.

of course, it is important to consider the context of the boe meta. since chansey, blissey, and clefable are all in the meta, clerics in this meta have to match that amount of synergy. a rock fairy with only 65/115/115 bulk and coverage/spikes as much more appealing options, a poison/electric with no recovery, a normal/ghost that relies on wish but also has nasty plot and good special offenses, and an ice/ghost are all unlikely to become clerics. the reason why the prompt specifies the cleric should not be weak to poison and fighting is because chansey, blissey, and clefable are either weak to poison or fighting (as well as weird niche options like sylveon, togekiss, miltank, and lickilicky) so keep that in mind.

tldr it has to be fat with a good defensive typing and recovery to support a defensive team

Removed Moves: Outrage, Stomping Tantrum, Thrash

Description: During a fierce battle between a strangely flexible Mankey and a powerful dragon type foe an interloper came in to seal the Mankey's fate. Struck with the full force of the draconic brute and no where else to go the Mankey and the interloper both perished. However Ho-Oh had seen a similar being 800 years ago, one who helped other pokemon with a smile on its face, against vile humans or bigger brutish pokemon. Using the power of its flames it revived the Mankey in the spirit of that being. Its fur now coated in white hot flames, its rage now only replaced with joy, and the only sound coming from its mouth was a hardy laugh. This was the dawn of the Laughing Liberator.

Removed Moves:

Description: Lugia cursed a group of Bayleef to always smell and taste terrible thus making it undesirable to anyone. This eternal damnation to isolation caused them to become cloistered and only trust members of their group. Over time their leaves wilted and their necks drooped forcing them to eat at the scraps of the land, thus the name Fallen Foilage.

Description: Defensive grass type! Walls many of the new mons while retaining an offensive presence like OG Azu. Could it maybe be too much with recovery? I fear its typing + stats might make it too hard to break.
Flavour:
It seems that wherever this Pokemon goes, all crops there end up growing faster and being of higher quality. Some claim this power was given to it by a Legendary Pokemon.

Flowers mysteriously follow this Pokemon everywhere it goes. Its presence can be lethal for any individuals who possess allergies, as it also attracts Pokemon such as Beedrill and Vespiqueen.

Hello, thanks for stopping by! However, this sub would be disallowed since it misses some specific rules:

Name: Shining Serpent
Original Pokemon: Onix
Role: HO lead, fast rock, offensive fairy
Type: Rock / Fairy
Ability: Cleansing Fire
Stats: 85 / 105 / 165 / 45 / 45 / 125 [570 BST]
Paradox: Sky
New Moves: Accelerock, Coil, Dazzling Gleam, Mirror Shot, Misty Explosion, Misty Terrain, Play Rough
Removed Moves: Dragon Dance
This Pokemon bears a striking resemblance to a legendary ore vein buried deep under Johto, containing gems as blue as the midday sky. This vein would mysteriously disappear after being found, only to reappear elsewhere decades later.
Competitive Description: Rocks + Taunt + Explosion real. Band sets can be super threatening with STAB Head Smash and Accelerock to pick off faster threats, though its low special bulk leaves it somewhat exploitable on that side. DD seemed kind of yucky so I gave it Coil instead. Should be funny but probably not a very good set overall.

:sv/chinchou:
Name: Ponderous Orb
Original Pokemon: Chinchou
Role: Steel type, defensive pivot
Type:

Ability: Corrupting Storm
Stats: 120 / 50 / 90 / 100 / 120 / 90 [570 BST]
Paradox: Sea
New Moves: Flash Cannon, Gyro Ball, Iron Defense, Iron Head, Metal Burst, Metal Sound, Mirror Shot, Steel Beam, Thunder Cage, Will-O-Wisp
Removed Moves: Aqua Ring, Blizzard, Brine, Bubble, Bubble Beam, Hydro Pump, Scald, Soak, Water Gun, Water Pulse, Whirlpool
This Pokemon bears resemblance to a ghostly light described in ancient texts that would appear on stormy nights and lead ships out further into the ocean, only to disappear from sight and leave the ships hopelessly lost.
Description: Big SpDef Steel, forma de flavor revamp. We need specially defensive Steels, this annoys Zapdos and Gilded Fleece, everyone wins.

Please finish your subs; Sinking Snow and Dusty Whirlwind are missing their stats while your other two subs are nonexistent. I'm presuming Dusty Whirlwind is a Piloswine Paradox as well but we would like you to clarify just to make sure.
Name: Gemini Darner
Original Pokemon: Flygon
Type: Bug/Dragon
Ability: Hivemind
Stats: 75 / 130 / 87 / 67 / 91 / 89 [BST: 539]
Paradox: Sky
Description: i really wanted flygon to be a bug dragon so it's design will have elements from yanmega because the lore is that this is the common ancestor of flygon and yanmega
For the reasons zxg has outlined, we cannot accept this sub in any capacity. Please follow the submission rules and templates.
humm. Here’s my third time submitting this, a defensive Fire and SpDef fairy I guess?
:xy/granbull:
Name: Lamp Loyal
Original Pokemon: Granbull
Type: Fire/Fairy
Ability: Cleansing Fire
Stats: 57/131/125/93/123/41
Paradox: Sky

New Moves: Healing Wish, Wish, Mystical Fire, Will-O-Wisp, Sacred Fire, Eerie Spell, Perish Song, Faithful Hope
Removed Moves: Sludge Bomb, just all physical movepool except EQ, play Rough , Super Fang, Return and Counter,
Faithful Hope: status, Fire.
User loses 50% HP. The lost HP is remembered and healed to the next Pokemon entering the field, using Healing Wish's trigger.

Description: A cleric/monk/whatever religious you want that pries Ho-Oh. Its eyes are closed, it has a candle in its hands, just look kinder and less aggressive and with less muscles. It can’t touch anything dirty and hate violence.

An utility, I gave it Shuckle-like bulk instead if Alomola like because Wish-Pass with that much HP is not fun. It can run Special attacks to PP stall and reduce SpAtk.Can pass HP safely though.
Not a full veto, but I don't believe you saw last slate's veto post so I'm gonna have to tell you again with more detail this time. Lamp Loyal is fine on its own, but its custom move Faithful Hope is a worse Wish in most scenarios. Because of this, we will not accept Faithful Hope in its current state. If Faithful Hope is not changed or removed, Lamp Loyal will be available for voting but will not retain the move Faithful Hope.

Giving these people 24 hours to fix their subs. Although new subs will not be accepted aside from those who have been vetoed, we will be allowing last minute changes to all current subs (such as slight stat tweaks and movepool changes) during these 24 hours. Sincere apologies for the delay in closing this slate as well as this post, most of us council members have been busy lately, please bear with us. Anyways peace!

Yo. SKIPPERGAMEZ has deleted their subs, fuecoco's sub remains vetoed and Turtlek has removed Faithful Hope so no worries about Lamp Loyal. Now let's get voting started! Here's the sub comp:

Name: Mystic Leviathan

Removed Moves: All Ice-type Moves, Megahorn

Flavor: TBA
Description: THE wishpasser of all time. Has a really good defensive typing and special bulk and can make use of its pivoting and Wish to heal up allies with low HP. Cleansing Fire can even cure status if you manage to get a kill. Unfortunately has no actual recovery outside of Wish and has low Physical Defense, but WoW can take care of that.
:DP/corsola:
Name: Shimmering Reef
Original Pokemon: Corsola
Role: Offensive Fairy, Fast Rock, Hazard Setter
Type:

Ability: Cleansing Fire
Stats: 63 HP / 61 Atk / 115 Def / 121 SpA / 115 SpD / 95 Spe | BST: 570

Signature Move: Barb Scatter - Rock | - BP | 10 PP | - Acc | Status | Protects user from all damaging dealing moves. If contact is made while this move is being used, sets a layer of Spikes.

:DP/dodrio:
Name: Tripod Drill
Original Pokemon: Dodrio
Role: Offensive Pivot, Hazard Setter
Type:

Ability: Cleansing Fire
Stats: 65 HP / 107 Atk / 95 Def / 61 SpA / 109 SpD / 133 Spe | BST: 570

New Moves: Dodrio's Movepool + Hyper Drill, Drill Run, Earthquake, High Horsepower, U-turn, Axe Kick, Triple Axel, Stealth Rock, Court Change, Rapid Spin, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Smack Down, Triple Kick, Agility
Signature Move: Triple Drill - Ground | 25 BP | 10 PP | 90% Acc | Physical | Hits three times. Each hit increases in BP by 25, but they have separate accuracy checks.
Removed Moves: Knock Off, All Flying type moves sans Drill Peck, Swords Dance
Description: Tripod Drill goes off as a fast paced offensive pivot or late game cleaner, one that applies big pressure with Triple Drill, but doesn't have much ways to punch holes into Ground resists.
:sv/scizor:
Name: Lustrous Champion
Origin: Scizor
Type: Steel/Fairy
Ability: Cleansing Fire
Paradox: Sky
Stats: HP-75/Atk-135/Def-95/SpA-95/SpD-85/Spe-85 BST: 570
Movepool changes: -Close Combat, Bullet Punch, U-turn, Agility, Automize, +Play Rough, Volt Switch, Thunder Punch, Fire Punch, Drain Punch, Sacred Sword, Luster Buster*
Role: Offensive Fairy/Steel-type
By virtue of an outstanding typing, staggering attack stat, punishing STAB move in Luster Buster, and awesome utility from Knock Off, Roost, Volt Switch, and Defog, Lustrous Champion will probably have a solidified place in the metagame. It could probably run a variety of sets, ranging from a Swords Dance wallbreaker, Choice Scarfer, defensive Defogger, Volt Switch pivot, or just an all out attacker.
Design and Concept: Scizor’s hands are replaced with sword blades. The spikes on its head are rearranged to look like a crown. It also trades its red paint job for silver, ever so slightly tinted with pink (because it’s a fairy).
The Lustrous Champion is a defender of justice, sworn to destroying the forces of corruption. All darkness flees before the light cast from its righteous blade.
:sv/vulpix:
Name: Radiant Locks
Original Pokemon: Vulpix
Role: Cleric not weak to poison or fighting, Defensive fire
Type:

Ability: Cleansing Fire
Stats: 85 / 83 / 137 / 115 / 85 / 65 [570 BST]
Paradox: Sky

Removed Moves: None

Category:

Base Power: ---
Accuracy: ---
PP: 10 [16 Max]
Effect: Heals user for 33% of max HP. The next ally to enter the field will have 25% max HP restored upon switch-in.
Priority: 0
Flags: Same as Life Dew
Flavor: The user summons a holy light to rejuvenate itself. This light remain until another ally switches in, healing said ally for a bit as well.

Description: Cleric whose high physical bulk and psychic typing allows it to reliably tank hits from most fighting types. Gets clerical utility via Heal Bell for status, and through a signature move akin to Bust a Move’s Life Dew. Has other utilities that it can also utilize to thwart fast, physical breakers, most notably being Wisp.

A Fairy Tale Come True?
An old fairy tale tells of a lost Pokémon, scared and alone, who encountered a rainbow-colored feather. This feather blessed the Pokémon with great powers, which it would use to care for the weak and helpless. Odd sightings have been reported within the Ilex of a Pokémon whose radiant fur emits an iridescent glow. Could this Pokémon and the Pokémon from the fairy tale be one in the same?

Gold Dex
: It bears similarities to a Pokémon described as “Radiant Locks” within the Gold Book, gaining its name from its shining, iridescent fur.
Silver Dex: It bears resemblance a Pokémon within a dubious magazine, in which it was believed to have been bestowed power by a rainbow wing.

more to come
:sv/scizor:
Name: Magma Sentinel
Original Pokemon: Scizor
Role: Defensive Fire-type, Physical wall, Stealth Rock setter, Pivot
Type: Fire/Steel
Ability: Cleansing Fire
Stats: 99 / 115 / 121 / 65 / 89 / 81 [570 BST]
Paradox: Sky
New Moves: Flare Blitz, Fire Punch, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Overheat, Stealth Rock, Iron Head
Removed Moves: Bullet Punch, Thief, Swords Dance, Roost
Description: "Numerous reports from across the Johto region have sighted a mysterious entity throughout the Johto region. The entity, named "Magma Sentinel" due to its resemblance to a similar entity in the Book of Enigmas, bears a resemblance to Scizor, one with silver armor, flames from its pincers, and a core of pure magma on its upper body, though there is no established connection between the two species. It typically resides in mountainous or dry areas, typically volcanic areas, though more recent reportings have sighted it near places like the Brass Tower. The entity absorbs heat through its core and converts it to energy, and as a result, is known to avoid the cold. Though not particularly aggressive, if provoked, it will attack with sheer fury, either by converting the magma in its body into fiery blasts which it shoots out of its pincers or crushing or bashing targets with its pincers."
Competitive Description: Heatran with pivoting. Has great bulk and an amazing defensive typing to back it up, ensuring that it can live plenty of hits. Also has great utility in Stealth Rock, Knock Off, and U-turn, all of which it can utilize well in a variety of roles. With a decent base attack and good STABs in Flare Blitz and Iron Head, Magma Sentinel is also not passive and offensive builds are potentially viable. It does have a few flaws, however, most notably a lack of reliable recovery, which leaves it prone to getting worn down over the course of the game. Furthermore, though its typing is amazing defensively, it also leaves it with weaknesses to the various Water-, Fighting-, and Ground-types [the latter particularly so] in the meta as well as mons that pack such coverage types, and it is somewhat slow at base 81 speed.

:sv/leafeon:
Name: Bladed Bloom
Original Pokemon: Leafeon
Role: Offensive Pivot, Swords Dance sweeper
Type: Grass / Fire
Ability: Cleansing Fire
Stats: 85 / 115 / 101 / 87 / 73 / 109 [570 BST]
Paradox: Sky
New Moves: Flare Blitz, Overheat, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Sacred Sword, U-turn
Removed Moves: Curse, Shadow Ball
Description: "Numerous reports have detailed a mysterious entity resembling Leafeon throughout the Johto region, though there is very little connection between the two species, if any. The name "Bladed Bloom" was given due to its resemblance to a similarly-named entity in the Book of Enigmas. Its leaves burn brightly with the powers granted to it by Ho-Oh. Though the bladed leaves on its paws and tail are laced with pure fire that can cause severe burns, it only uses them as a last resort and is mostly peaceful otherwise, preferring to release special chemicals that cause foes to lose their will to fight. Strangely enough, its leaves have special healing properties, though not much is known about them."
Competitive Description: Fast offensive pivot that can also pack a punch due to its potent STAB combo. Not a lot of Grass-type offensive pivots [Tangrowth is primarily defensive] and not a lot of good Fire-types in the meta [Entei/Moltres are the only good ones, rest like Alolawak are mid outside of very specific scenarios], so why the hell not? Use your good power and decent STABs and coverage to go ham on the opponent, and with U-turn at the helm should you need to bring in another mon, Bladed Bloom can prove itself a formidable threat. Alternatively, you can also run a Swords Dance build or an All-Out Attacker build if you so desire, turning its already decent offensive presence up to 11. Despite this, its typing is not the best defensively, most notably leaving it with nasty weaknesses to Rock- and Flying-type moves. Furthermore, its special defense is not great, leaving it open against special attackers like Flying Specter that can live any attack Bladed Bloom throws at it.

Greatest Hits medley! prolly last time im resubbing Spoon & Cerbero so if you want em get em.

This creature that seems pulled out straight from an oldwives tale, is said to be Ho-Oh's vizier by those who claim to have met it.

Removed Moves: All Poison & Dark-Type Moves, Shadow Ball.

Removed Moves: All Water type moves except Aqua Tail and Waterfall.

Fast attacker with a solid typing that allows it to pivot in on a decent amount of special attacks and threaten with SD. Also usable in HO with Spikes, as its good offensive typing, and its high speed
:sv/onix:

Armored Seahorse?
A blurry photograph of the sea shows a Kingdra-esque silouhette on Sea Route 41. Fisherman say they swear they saw it in silver armor, racing across the ocean at at least 100 kilometers an hour.
Competitive Description: defensive steel pivot #4. plays like jirachonator but with no smash or doom desire.

:sv/beedrill-mega:
Name: Crystalline Hive
Original Pokemon: Beedrill
Roles: Fast Rock-type, HO Lead, Offensive Pivot
Type: Rock/Poison
Ability: Corrupting Storm
Stats: 70/88/86/100/126/120 (BST: 590)
Paradox: Sea (Corruption)

New Moves: Ancient Power, Power Gem, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Stone Edge, Spikes, Final Gambit, Meteor Beam, Stealth Rock
Removed Moves: All Bug-type moves except U-Turn, Roost, Outrage, Defog

Flavor: A Beedrill variant that plants itself in the ground via a rocky, crystal-like poison hive made from unknown crystals, luring Weedle around it to be apart of it. The hive has a smell equivalent to a skunk's, but for unsuspecting passersby it may smell like flowers. This is a common tactic this variant uses to lure and stab prey with its needle arms. When in trouble, it launches a final attack and escorts the hive to somewhere safer, hence Final Gambit.
Description: Fast Rock-type suicide lead that can also work well on offensive teams, being able to set hazards via Spikes and Stealth Rock. Think of it as an Accelgor-esque Pokemon that can also be an offensive pivot and a good HO mon that can run Specs or Power Herb depending on the offensive set. Special Rock-types are actually fairly uncommon too so this does have a pretty good niche.

Name: Noxious Sting
Original Pokemon: Beedrill
Role: Offensive Pivot, Status Spreader

Paradox: Sea
New Moves: Beedrill's Movepool + Psycho Cut, Psychic, Zen Headbutt, Gunk Shot, Nasty Plot, Calm Mind, Psycho Shift, Thunder Wave, Psyshock, Future Sight, Psybeam, Barb Barrage, Superpower
Removed Moves: Sunny Day, Roost, Defog, Swords Dance
Signature Move: Neurotoxin - Psychic | 70 BP | 15 PP | 100% Acc | Physical | Contact | Doubles in power if opponent is statused. 30% chance to paralyze.
Description: Noxious Sting is a fast hit and run Pokémon that relies on spreading status to various Pokémon before hightailing out of there with U-turn.
:sv/charmeleon:
Name: Murky Maw
Origin: Charmeleon
Type: Fire/Ground
Ability: Corrupting Storm
Paradox: Sea
Stats: HP-134/Atk-70/Def-82/SpA-104/SpD-124/Spe-56 BST:570
Movepool changes: -Electric moves, Quick Attack, + Earthquake, Mud Shot, Scorching Sands, Slack Off, Earth Power, Stealth Rock
Role: Defensive Fire-type.
Bulky hazard setter and special wall. Slack off provides reliable recovery. A secondary ground typing is really good on a defensive Fire-type for taking away its Stealth Rock weakness. MM itself can reliably set Rocks throughout a match. Scorching Sands for half STAB half status.
Design and Concept: We gave Charmeleon the Clodsire treatment. It basically covers itself in mud and lies on its belly.
Legend speaks of a deadly creature, invisible through camouflage, lying in wait to scorch the feets of its enemies.

:sv/blastoise:
Name: Shelly Croaks
Origin: Blastoise
Type: Water/Ground
Ability: Corrupting Storm
Paradox: Sea
Stats: HP-150/Atk-102/Def-76/SpA-108/SpD-74/Spe-60 BST: 570
Movepool changes: -Ice moves, Scald, Aura Sphere, Rapid Spin, + Flip Turn, Parting Shot, Earthquake, Earth Power, Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb, Clear Smog, Spikes, Boomburst, Haze
Role: Defensive Pivot
Real bulky with 150 HP. Water/Ground makes for an incredible defensive typing to be used alongside great utility, such as Flip Turn or Parting Shot for a slow pivot, Spikes to stack hazards, and moves like Sludge Bomb and Body Slam to fish for status. As a counterbalance, recovery is unreliable. Probably gonna run Assault Vest.
Design and Concept: Freak hybrid of a tortoise and a toad. It’s basically a brown/green froggo chillin in a big shell.
By the work of a deep, powerful, and dangerous magic, a toad and tortoise have been joined in a benign unity, creating a monster unlike anything before seen. Lord of the marshes, Shelly Croaks roams the wetlands endlessly in search of a meal, never able to quell its insatiable hunger.

:sv/yanmega:
Name: Tyrant Drone
Origin: Yanmega
Type: Bug/Dragon
Ability: Corrupting Storm
Paradox: Sea
Stats: HP-100/Atk-122/Def-90/SpA-86/SpD-102/Spe-70 BST: 570
Movepool Changes: -Hypnosis, Giga Drain, Quick Attack, +Dragon Dance, Outrage, Fire Blast, Confuse Ray, Spikes, Poison Jab, Cross Poison, Gunk Shot
Role: Dragon-type, some form of pivot.
Despite an interesting yet somewhat unfortunate typing, Tyrant Drone can fill a number of roles, including as a powerful Dragon Dance set-up sweeper, offensive or bulky pivot using U-turn, or a possible Spikes setter. Access to Defog makes it capable of going the opposite direction and clearing hazards. With decent coverage, such as from Fire Blast, it could function as a mixed attacker. Tyrant Drone’s typing lets it handle a number of Grass, Psychic, Dark, and Dragon-types, but leaves it vulnerable to Fairies if not running Poison-type coverage.
Design and Concept: Bigger, scarier Yanmega. Has longer teeth, darker color scheme with more purple, a much longer tail with rows of spikes, and heavier claws. It’s wings are also significantly larger and scarcely shaped like those of a dragon.
A fearsome ruler of the mountains, Tyrant Drone dictates the every motion of its subjects. None dare challenge it for its gloomy throne for fear of a humiliating defeat before its mighty claws. The Tyrant Drone is truly a menacing sight to behold.
:sv/gardevoir:
Name: Doomed Guardian
Original Pokemon: Gardevoir
Role: Fast Fairy, Offensive Fairy, Offensive support, Specs abuser
Type: Ghost / Fairy
Ability: Corrupting Storm
Stats: 94 / 66 / 82 / 102 / 110 / 116 [570 BST]
Paradox: Sea
New Moves: Hex, Recover
Removed Moves: Calm Mind, Focus Blast, Aura Sphere, Charge Beam
Description: "Numerous reports have detailed a mysterious, ethereal entity resembling Gardevoir throughout Johto, though no connection between the two species has been established. It has been rumored to have been the spirit of a princess of an ancient kingdom who attempted to conquer Johto in a campaign launched 1,250 years ago, though historical records of such events have yet to surface. The entity is known to be very seductive, luring humans into its graces and manipulating them. If they, at any time, refuse, it will attack the target, though if the target tries to fight back, it will flee, erasing the target's memories from the time it first encountered it in the process."
Competitive Description: Flutter Mane but less offense-oriented and more focused on support. You still have a great offensive typing and decent coverage in Mystical Fire and Psyshock but without Choice Specs you're not as powerful especially because you have no boosting options available. Use your wide variety of support moves such as Encore, Wisp, and Taunt to cripple the opponent and support your team; considering its amazing speed tier and good bulk, Doomed Guardian should have no problem in this role. You can also run a Specs set to abuse your amazing STAB combo and decent coverage too. Suffers from somewhat weak physical bulk without Will-o-Wisp and somewhat weak offensive capabilities without Specs, which can lock you into an unfavorable move. In addition, while Ghost/Fairy is an amazing offensive STAB combo, it is rather unfavorable defensively, with practically no resists undercutting some decent immunities, leaving it vulnerable to more powerful attackers that pack super-effective coverage.

:sv/mightyena:
Name: Mountain Lurker
Original Pokemon: Mightyena
Role: Fast Rock-type, Suicide Lead [Stealth Rock + Spikes], Physical Wallbreaker
Type: Rock/Dark
Ability: Corrupting Storm
Stats: 94 / 110 / 100 / 76 / 76 / 114 [570 BST]
Paradox: Sea
New Moves: Knock Off, Stealth Rock, Memento, Close Combat, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Power Gem, Spikes, Bulk Up
Removed Moves: Double Team
Description: "Recent reports have detailed a mysterious entity resembling a more jagged form of Mightyena, though there is very little connection between the two species. It has often been sighted in more mountainous areas, particularly after sunset. Unlike Hoennian Mightyena, this entity appears to travel by itself. It often hides in dark paces and stalks its prey before striking it when they least expect it."
Competitive Description: Suicide lead with both Stealth Rock and Spikes. Use your good speed to get up Stealth Rock [and/or Spikes], and your decent attack to try and do as much damage before dying. Furthermore, it is a good abuser of Corrupting Storm, as it can use it to either take its opponent with it or force a switch and put more tempo in your hands. Alternatively, a Bulk Up or 4 attacks set is plausible given its high speed, good attack, and good coverage in Close Combat/Play Rough. Suffers from a poor defensive typing that leaves it weak to common attacking types, most notably Fighting.

New Moves: Spoon Reckoning*, Sacred Sword, U-Turn.
Removed Moves: Nasty Plot.

Removed Moves:
Description: I thought idea of Gengar resembling Clefable and vice versa would make for a pretty interesting idea for a Paradox form, especially with the themes of corruption with the Sea paradoxes. Acts as a threatening attacker with options to support its teammates quite well especially with its solid bulk, typing, and speed.

Hey, just in case you aren't currently active, just wanted to let you know that the voting bot seems offline, I tried to send my votes, but it didn't respond. Can I just leave my votes in the channel? I guess they'll get counted when it's back online. Otherwise I could send them to a member of the council to add them to the final results.
