Breeding help

The impulse

I don't know if there is a certain spot for this or not but I am stuck on something. I'm trying to breed a modest staryu with a ditto to get another modest staryu. They both have relatively good IV's in the ones I want to pass down(30 31 and 31) but the baby Pokemon won't come out with a modest nature. Should I go out and catch a ditto with modest nature and 31 iv's in hp and another in SpA? Or is there an easier way?

I know it must be a ditto or a female holding the everstone for it so it will take forever for the IV's I want to be passed down. I really need help so for anyone that has done this before please help.

If this is the wrong section or wrong area I wouldn't mind it bein moved, but I saw nothing for breeding so I went to general.
 
As useless as this response is, I thank you for giving me a laugh.

But I'm sad to say there isn't a golden rod in Emerald, and I don't think the lilycove store has anything useful like that in stock.

You guys are forgetting the petals from a Bellossom Petal Dance, best way to set the mood on top of the music and scented candles.
