Bronzong’s niche on Steel teams lies in its ability to be a bulky Trick Room setter, supporting slow but devastatingly powerful teammates such as Copperajah and Choice Specs Aegislash and giving them sweeping potential. Bronzong also possesses a unique ability for Steel teams in Heatproof, which allows it to set Trick Room in the face of Fire-type attacks like Galarian Darmanitan’s Flare Blitz. However, outside of Trick Room and Heatproof, Bronzong has few desirable qualities over other defensive Steel-types like Corviknight or Ferrothorn, and it can struggle with passivity outside of setting Trick Room and using Explosion. Stealth Rock makes Bronzong an effective lead and chips down the opposing team for its teammates. Toxic can be used to pressure opposing entry hazard removers and to put threats on a timer, giving Bronzong more merit as a defensive pivot. Explosion gives Bronzong a powerful attack that can deal heavy damage to Pokemon such as Hydreigon and Galarian Darmanitan, and allows Bronzong to pivot out into a Trick Room sweeper once it has accomplished its needed roles. Mental Herb vastly improves Bonzong’s matchup against common Taunt users like Mew, Keldeo, and Sableye, allowing it to use Trick Room and Toxic against them, which Steel teams greatly appreciate due to having headaches with said Pokemon late-game.

Bronzong should generally utilize its bulk to set Trick Room and Stealth Rock early-game and use Toxic against threats or entry hazard removers to put them on a timer. Since Bronzong lacks reliable recovery, it should not be used as a common switch-in to powerful attackers such as Zeraora, which will quickly wear it down and make it unable to set Trick Room. Bronzong can be used to sponge Fire-type attacks like Choice Specs Dragapult’s Fire Blast and use Toxic against said Pokemon to give its team an easier time dealing with them. Explosion should not be used at the start of the match if Bronzong has utility in checking a threat like Charizard or has opportunities to set Trick Room multiple times. Copperajah makes for an effective Trick Room attacker, being able to leverage its high Attack and diverse coverage to to threaten opposing teams, while also threatening Pokemon such as Corviknight with Heat Crash that could otherwise take advantage of Bronzong. Aegislash acts as another effective Trick Room attacker, being able to utilize Choice Specs to break through opposing teams and pressuring types like Water, Psychic, and Ghost. Both Aegislash and Copperajah appreciate Bronzong's ability to wear down opposing teams with Stealth Rock and bring them in safely with Explosion after setting Trick Room. Corviknight acts as a bulky sweeper that can switch into Ground-type attacks and snowball past teams using Bulk Up and Taunt, and appreciates Bronzong’s ability to use Toxic on faster Taunt users that check Corviknight, such as Sableye and Mew, thanks to Mental Herb. Ferrothorn can use Spikes to form an effective hazard stacking core with Bronzong and use its typing to switch into Electric- and Water-types such as Toxtricity and Dracovish. Ferrothorn can also provide Bronzong with situational healing using Leech Seed. Duraludon and Excadrill serve as effective Choice Scarf users, giving Bronzong’s teammates an efficient form of speed control outside of Trick Room, and can pressure Dragon and Electric teams, respectively.

Guwahavel Could you please change the Bronzong set to this?

Bronzong's main niche nowadays is a Trick Room setter to support slower Pokemon like Aegislash and Melmetal in wallbreaking, while Specially Defensive Bronzong has become more and more awkward and harder to justify fitting on teams. The QC team would prefer if you could write it up as the main set. Feel free to tag me or another QC member when you're done, thanks in advance!

Need to mention Mental Herb against Keldeo's Taunt.

Wouldn't pick out when Bronzong is at low HP specifically or needs to beat something to use Explosion. Using Explosion when it's still relatively healthy is a fine option when it means giving Melmetal/Aegislash a safe switchin and a few more turns of Trick Room to collect KOs.

Put in mentions for Stealth Rock for Aegislash and Melmetal.

good work QC 1/2

Bronzong’s niche on Steel teams lies in its ability to be a bulky Trick Room setter, supporting slow but devastatingly powerful teammates such as Melmetal and Choice Specs Aegislash and giving them sweeping potential. Bronzong also possesses a unique ability for Steel teams(RH) in Heatproof,(AC) which allows it to set Trick Room in the face of Fire-type attacks like Galarian Darmanitan’s Flare Blitz. However, outside of Trick Room and Heatproof, Bronzong has little desirable qualities over other defensive Steel-types like Corviknight or Ferrothorn, and can struggle with passivity outside of setting Trick Room and using Explosion. Stealth Rock makes Bronzong into an effective lead and chips down the opposing team for its teammates. Toxic can be used to pressure opposing hazard removers or and to put threats on a timer, giving Bronzong more merit as a defensive pivot. Explosion gives Bronzong a powerful attack that can deal heavy damage to Pokemon such as Hydreigon and Galarian Darmanitan, and allows Bronzong to pivot out into a Trick Room Sweeper sweeper once it has accomplished its needed roles for its team (optional, but I think this is just unnecessary). Mental Herb vastly improves Bronzong’s matchup against common Taunt users like Mew, Keldeo, and Sableye, allowing it to use Trick Room and Toxic against them, which Steel teams(RH) greatly appreciate due to having headaches with said Pokemon in the late-game(AH).

Bronzong should generally utilize its bulk to set Trick Room and Stealth Rock in the early-game(AH),(RC) and use Toxic against threats or hazard removers to put them on a timer. Since Bronzong lacks reliable recovery, and as such it should not be used as a common switch-in(AH) into powerful attackers such as Zeraora, which will make itself get quickly worn it down and make it unable to set Trick Room. Bronzong can be used to sponge Fire-type attacks like Choice Specs Dragapult’s Fire Blast and use Toxic against said Pokemon to give its team an easier time dealing with them. Explosion does not need to should not (more concise) be used at the start of the match if Bronzong has utility in checking a threat to the rest of the team like Charizard, or can set Trick Room multiple times against the opponent's team. Melmetal makes for a highly effective Trick Room abuser, being able to leverage its colossal stats and diverse coverage to blow past opposing teams,(RC) and being able to pressure while also pressuring Substitute users that can exploit Bronzong like Hydriegon with Double Iron Bash that can exploit Bronzong. Aegislash acts as another effective Trick Room attacker, being able to utilize Choice Specs to break through opposing teams and pressuring types like Water, Psychic, and Ghost. Both Aegislash and Melmetal appreciate Bronzong's ability to wear down opposing teams with Stealth Rocks and bring them in safely with Explosion after setting Trick Room. Corviknight acts as a bulky wincon that can switch into Ground-type attacks and snowball past teams using Bulk Up and Taunt, and appreciates Bronzong’s ability to use Toxic on faster Taunt users which that check Corviknight,(AC) such as Sableye and Mew,(AC) thanks to Mental Herb. Ferrothorn can use Spikes to form an effective hazard-stacking core with Bronzong,(RC) and use its typing to switch into check (I don't know if you also wanted to mention how Ferrothorn checks them or how these two are checks to Bronzong) Electric- and Water-types such as Toxtricity and Dracovish. Ferrothorn can also provide Bronzong with situational healing using Leech Seed. Duraludon and Excadrill serve as effective Choice Scarf users, giving Bronzong’s teammates an effective efficient (changed this to avoid repetition of the same adjective) form of speed control outside of Trick Room,(AC) and can pressure types such as Dragon and Electric teams respectively.

Since Bronzong lacks reliable recovery, and as such it should not be used as a common switch-in(AH) into powerful attackers such as Zeraora, which will make itself get quickly worn wear it down (or "see it quickly worn down" or w/e) and make it unable to set Trick Room. Bronzong can be used to sponge Fire-type attacks like Choice Specs Dragapult’s Fire Blast and use Toxic against said Pokemon to give its team an easier time dealing with them. Explosion does not need to should not (more concise) (different nuance though, depends on whether it should say "feel free to save explosion" or "don't use it right away period") be used at the start of the match if Bronzong has utility in checking a threat to the rest of the team like Charizard (RC) or can set Trick Room multiple times against the opponent's team. Melmetal makes for a highly effective Trick Room abuser attacker, being able to leverage its colossal stats and diverse coverage to blow past opposing teams,(RC) and being able to pressure while also pressuring Substitute users that can exploit Bronzong like Hydriegon Hydreigon with Double Iron Bash that can exploit Bronzong. (add comma before respectively but change isnt rly needed otherwise)
