Endeavor "cannot be used" unless the pokemon has enough energy. Haxorus clearly doesn't and "cannot be used" makes this illegal.

Please reorder.

ROUND 7!

Waking up after a much deserved rest, Titania erects a Protective Barrier, more than strong enough to block Slasher's Earthquake. Right after that, the Haxorus faints due to lack of energy.

This tense match will end with a Escavalier vs Stratagem matchup! Escavalier has the health advantage, as well as a useful item, but Stratagem can hit x4 with fire moves and is faster, so both players are well in this game! let's wait and see how it all pans out.

DATA:

ACTION 1!

Escavalier used Protect! (-12en)

Haxorus used Earthquake! (-7en)
Damage: 10+2.5 = 12.5 hp (blocked)

Fire Blast ~ Heat Wave ~ Flamethrower

(Once Only) If Damaging Steel-type OR Damaging Fighting-type combo a2 THEN Substitute (15) that action and push back

This is it. The end.

Gregor sized up the match, knowing that the time had come for this roller coaster to grind to a halt. He felt the Net Badge in his pocket, and remembered a very important lesson he had taught his opponent when earning a badge. It was a lesson he had learned years before, trying to take on a Swarm of Beedrill that was only mostly fainted. Indeed, it was the first rule of fighting insects.

Never. Ever. Leave a bug at low health.

Iron Head~Endure~Reversal
I forget if "Don't dodge moves and allow everything to hit" is legal (I think it isn't), but if it is... do that.

Note: Unfortunately, luck will decide this match. If any fire move burns (27.1% chance) I lose. Either way, great game.
Note2: There is a very high chance I missed something and just lost anyway. Good game in that case, too.

ROUND 9!
In a match that marks the return of the Bug Gym Leader, this is as tense as it can be! By the looks of the actions given, this will be the final round, so let's do a very quick recap of what happened.

The Challenger brought a team that relied on sheer power to defeat the trainer. All three of his pokemon were focused on dealing as much damage as possible to bug types, especially Emboar, due to Typing and Reckless. And Emboar was the first pokemon to be sent out, to which the leader responded with Volcarona. Even though Volcarona was an easy prey to Emboar's rock attacks, the leader's great strategy allowed his pokemon to just draw circles around Emboar, while hitting on his opponent's weak point: Recoil. The leader was ahead, 1-0.

After a job well done, Volcarona is quickly dispatched by Stratagem and the Leader sends out Escavalier to defend him. While it may seem, at first, a rather weird matchup (while Heracross would be able to hit harder without that inconvenient x4 weakness), the leader's superior strategy allowed him to end said matchup on a high note, at the cost of his Occa Berry. The leader (maybe after changing his mind), then sent out Heracross to the field with another Occa Berry and the Challenger saw the opportunity and sent out Haxorus to continue the offensive.

With no ways to defend itself and after a crucial mistake from the leader, Sheer Power regined supreme and the leader's trusted Heracross was quickly defeated by the Haxorus. Escavalier was called back to finish off the dragon, which he did while taking minimal damage thanks to, once again, a good strategy. Stratagem was sent back to break through Escavalier with sheer force once again, forcing the leader, once again, to use his best tactics to reach victory with the movepoll-limitated Escavalier. And the final round begins.

After removing Escavalier's Occa Berry, a while ago, Stratagem feels free to burn the bug to a crisp, which he does with a Flamethrower. Escavalier, still not burned, responded with Iron Head, almost dealing as much damage. almost.

On the following turn, Stratagem continued the assault with Heat Wave, which also did NOT burn. Escavalier, sensing that he will lose the damage race, pumps up adrenaline on his blood to Endure future hits, while escaping from the challenger's two dangerous substitutions.

Finally, Stratagem attacked once more with Fire Blast, pretty much destroying the Escavalier.

BUT

It still managed to move after that AND it doesn't seem to be burned! And with that, Escavalier gathered all his power to deliver the finishing blow, with Reversal. Stratagem fainted!

And the battle ended 3-2, with the leader surviving with a 1hp/1en pokemon! Despite facing a much deadly team, the Gym Leader managed to prevail, defending his badge in one of the many victories that will sure come! Congrats!

"Great job, Escavalier. I could not have asked for more from your first battle. As for the challenger... excellent match. I believe we have both learned quite a bit today about our strengths and weaknesses, and may leave here stronger than we entered."
