Bug Reports v3 [READ ORIGINAL POST before posting]

Not open for further replies.

Uses Thunderbolt while having 0 PP, I used spite, so that might be the issue.
Do you have a replay? I know this bug sometimes happens with Mega Absol or Aerodactyl that go pressure->mega evolution, since the tooltip subtracts 2 pp but the attack only loses 1. there might well have been something else going on instead, but I just can't tell from this screenshot.

Whenever I enter a battle, the first pokemon is always unseen. And if the pokemon is phased out or baton passes, the next pokemon that comes out is also unseen.

I'm having trouble viewing roomintros properly. Several other users in the CAP room have noticed this issue as well. Since it doesn't appear to be isolated to my computer alone, I figured I'll make a report here.
https://prnt.sc/jyi13y
I can no longer see the artwork that used to be centered in the roomintro. I have the same problem with the OU roomintro.
https://prnt.sc/jyi201 https://prnt.sc/jyi5kf
Images appear to be broken for me as well. This isn't consistent among roomintros, for example UU and PU rooms appear normally to me.
https://prnt.sc/jyi1sl
Monotype roomintro is completely broken for me. I can interact with the links in the roomintro- I just can't see it at all.

I'm using Firefox and have tested this on both Windows 7 and Windows 10.

in turn 5 Blissey eats its leppa berry after the first hit of a multihit move, whereas ingame you would only eat it after all the hits of the move end after the "Hit X times!" message.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7customgame-766546489 this replay also demonstrates this bug in Turn 8 to confirm it wasn't some Metronome specific oddity, as well as Endless Battle Clause being "activated" erroneously when both mons simply eat 1 Leppa with no way to restore it

EDIT: I guess this could have some actual difference in effect if you were using Parental Bond Leppa Berry Trump Card but this is just a wild guess for now.

EDIT 2:

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7metronomebattle-766670418

Ingame the game displays a single message about a move being super effective on both pokemon in doubles, not individual for both mons (It's super effective on x and x!)

Imgur images are getting a 403 error when attempting to display them on showdown, basically imgur is refusing to display the image. The roomowners will need to host the image elsewhere.

I just found out that in game (USUM) that an immune z-move does not display what z-move was used. In this example: a Kommo-o used a z-move against my primarina and instead of any text saying that it was any breakneck blitz or x z-move name, it just went: The pokemon surrounded itself with its z-power and used the full force z-move and cuts to the immunity line without saying anything else.
On showdown, the z-move type is revealed. https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen71v1-766761803

The Animation does show what dance the trainer uses. Which indicates that it was Never-Ending nightmare that was attempted.
And if they used a status move, the text would say which status move was used before the "doesn't affect" message.
Signature Z-Moves also have unique dance animations through Camera angles and how the Pokemon are framed.

When a Tournament starts, after the message The tournament has started! this.update() isn't ran meaning the message won't show up until someone says something (or until there is other activity). Just posting here to check if that's supposed to not happen

Me and my pals found an interesting bug with the Damage Calculator. For some reason, Eviolite doesn't work with Wimpod:

I believe there's a bug with frustration, unless it's a normal type it's only doing one damge and I'm pretty sure that shouldn't be happening right? I've tried with Hawlucha and Mega Beedrill and have their happiness at max but still only 1 damage.

Frustration is at its weakest at max happiness, you want to have 0 happiness for it to have max base power.

Hey, so I was in a league battle, we get to the final turn and my Choice Specs Raikou outsped my opponents Choice Scarf Togekiss despite having a lower speed. We thought we might have overlooked something but there were no outside influences and we rebattled multiple times trying to replicate it but couldn't achieve it. The Togekiss should outspeed by 1 point. Apologies for language in battles.

The battle is here: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7ubers-767898543

Hey so idk if this has been posted already, but I was sent in my ditto against a landorus with HP ice, but my ditto had HP ground instead. He ohko'd my landorus with HP ice and confirmed it was HP ice in the chat, but it said HP ground for me and as you can see in the replay, his landorus was immune when I used it.

Here's the replay: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7ou-768028129
Turn 6 is direct display of problem.

Ditto doesn't copy the type of Hidden Power. Ditto's HP type is based off its IVs even when it copies a Pokemon that runs Hidden Power of a different type

This is something minor that probably nobody will ever notice unless you're me and you try to make 1v1 tournaments with basically all the rulesets you will ever need ever

1 thing you'll need to know: Chansey+Charm+Seismic Toss is banned in 1v1 (due to in-game incompatibility, which isn't coded properly in showdown, I was told dev knows this already)

If you make a 1v1 tournament and add the rules /tour rules +Chansey+Charm+Seismic Toss then (as the simulator will tell you) it will unban Chansey+Charm+Seismic Toss.
Now the thing is, it doesn't actually unban it.
Upon validating in a team with that set, you get the following message
- Chansey has the combination of Chansey + Charm + Seismic Toss, which is banned.
- Chansey has the combination of Chansey + Charm + Seismic Toss, which is banned.

This is not a mistake on my end, it does actually show it twice.

What I'm thinking is that the validator or tour rules code treats complex unbans as complex bans for whatever reason which is counterintuitive and probably not supposed to happen.

Sorry about not being able to include a screenshot right now, my laptop is falling apart and I just couldn't get it to work. But this should be easy to replicate

Minor graphical bug. Shenanigans with Zoroark caused the game to display the opponent having one Pokemon left when the battle was over.
Capture1.PNG

Zoroark's moves/pp shows up for 'mons it was Illusion'd as

(only tested w/ the Illusion'd mon (in this case Altaria) hadn't been used in battle--perhaps relevant?)

In Randbats vs a team w/ Altaria and Zoroark, Zoroark comes out, disguised as Altaria, sucker punches, I faint it. Then Altaria comes out, I mouse over Altaria, and it says "Sucker Punch, 7/8"

Replay (though it doesn't show tooltips): https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7randombattle-770309191
