Just tried to access the site to look something up, googling, and got a malware warning that read:
Warning - visiting this web site may harm your computer!



Could anybody double-check to see if they get the same results? Been using the site as a resource for information of all sorts for a pretty long time and it's the first time I experience this.

Got the same message. Did Bulbapedia get hacked or something? Worst thing I've ever seen from there are ads that take up the entire page.

Edit: I think the malware is in the ads so if you have some sort of adblock, you should be fine... I think. Proceed at your own risk.

Probably the same thing that hit MinecraftWiki a while back. Some dubious code in some of the advertising stuff.

I was about to go there myself to double check if the page for Toxicroak has an error in it now with the black2/white2 games.
Maybe I'll go check the wikia page instead (bulbapedia is better in my view though)(shoot, I was mainly going there to look at the home page too, because I haven't been there in like forever).

This exact thing happened to the Dota 2 wiki a few weeks ago. Stay off the website in the mean-time, and, depending on the webmaster's response, it should be back up and virus-free within 24 hours.

The exact same thing hapenned with a site that I used to visit some time ago. Unfortunately I don't remember which site was that, but I fear what could happen with my PC, so I'm not going to visit Bulbapedia as of now.

It sounds like there was some malicious code imbedded in the ads that bulbapedia. I wonder if this has anything related to pokejungle being flagged, I'm pretty sure they're still on good terms with each other, so pokejungle might be able to help.
