not to be pretentious but yall should really read this… C.H.A.T. (Come Here for All Talk)

it's definitely a cultural thing. where i live everywhere seems to either open too late or close too early. like there's a breakfast place near me that opens at 9, which is too late for me to get breakfast bc that's when work starts

Does anyone else think that Lokix being stuck in UU is a metaphor for class struggles in modern civilization? Think about it. He's an incredibly potent wallbreaker that is nearly impossible to resist due to tinted lens. Thanks to this, he has obtained a very comfortable spot in the UU tier where he can live day to day with few struggles. However, no matter how much he tries, he will never be OU. It's not because he lacks immediate power, and it's not because he lacks any tools. It's simply how he was born. Bug types can't last in OU; there's simply no room. He was born strong and capable, and the only thing holding him back is how he was born. Maybe in a different meta, he could be up there, but he can't. Not in this one.

this post made me check this

there are now zero Normal, Bug, or Ice type Pokemon in OU
(note some of them are just banned to Ubers)

>new superman cartoon is sovl
>new batman cartoon is kind of mediocre and forgettable
>joker sequel is dogshit
>penguin show is good. this doesn't fit the agenda but idc cuz the penguin is dope and not irritatingly overexposed

please be kino superman legacy. batbros have had their fun, it's long past time for a superman renaissance

I just went to watch The Wild Robot earlier, and ....wow, just wow. That had to be one of the best animated movies I've ever watched in my life. I'm not a professional movie reviewer/video essay creator, so idk how to describe what I liked about it (though I do know that the animation was epic, like, come on, every frame is glorious). Not super complex plot-wise, but eh, it works really well. I'd definitely recommend it, I don't want it to have the same faith as Rise of the Guardians...

TLDR; Wild Robot was peak fiction.

Remember Geometry Dash?

Y’know that simple little mobile game that used to be super popular?

This is what it is now

I can’t think of a punchline I’m sorry I just really want to share this, I am genuinly melting of anxiety over what the reaction to this post will be I am so sorry

I could not think of a single reason why you should be feeling anxiety over Geometry Dash posting, the only thing you can lose is your post to react score ratio
Post what you want to and own it, woodgold

I love it when normal people who stopped paying attention to this game in 2014 are reminded that it still exists.

yea i play this game a fair bit. its alright and forsaken neon (the level im going for rn) makes me want to rip my hair out. All the levels here are cool and really impressive considering the limitations of the editor but (and i say this as respectfully as possible) the corny brainrot level is going to age like raw milk left outside in an arizona summer. plus robtop said "oh yeah there's probably only going to be one or two mythic rated levels" and then he put out 10 mythic ratings in the past week (not to say the levels don't deserve it) which between this and some other recent debacles regarding rob being a bad owner for geometry dash it's pretty obvious he's the weak link in the game's success.

i don't doubt that the wild robot is a good movie but the look back adaptation was in theaters this weekend and it's legitimately one of the best movies i've ever watched even if i'm not a film buff or anything.

It's only just hit me today that in less than 12 hours the first weekly Dragon Ball TV anime since 2018 is gonna air, one of the last major contributions of the late and great Akira Toriyama, and I feel absolutely nothing

It's too late to bother writing an essay about it but Toei has completely failed at giving people a reason to be excited about this show. Pretty visuals can only go so far when we don't even know the plot or the motives of any of the new characters they've shown. If within a month or two Daima is getting DBS Broly/endgame anime ToP levels of near-universal acclaim then this prerelease cycle has been worse than Transformers One's and I will stand by that claim
