There were a lot of good entries, but this one just hit it out of the park so far I couldn't feel justified voting for anything more. Although it looks like it'd have higher defense and lower speed than what the stats are, I think the typing and ability come across really well. I'm not really seeing Compound Eyes, but that just gets slapped onto any bug type that doesn't have a secondary ability so it's fine. It gives me some real UB vibes too, which is just... hella cool.
