I've already voted and it looks like grass/fire is going to win, but for the future it would be cool to make a physical flying type with technician to boost aerial ace.

Looks like we already have a physical flying type with Technician to boost Aerial Ace.

OR a Steel/Dragon... dragon with jet-packs and in-built gun-arms

There's your Steel/Dragon with built-in gun arm and a modified jet pack system. To be honest, those kind of things you're asking are too detail and not fitting pokemon at all.

ooooooo, chili pepper porcupine for the win...

although people are expecting to go special, just pointing out that something that could use flare blitz/wood hammer/leech seed is rather exciting to me...

Grass

Out of all the OU Pokemon, I think that Grass is the least prevailent type .

Not to be argumentative but other Heatran and Inferape name a competitive Fire type and while you are thinking about that i will call off the names Breloom, Abomasnow, Sceptile,Tangrowth, Rosarade, Ludicolo,Celebi, Shayim.Has anyone taught of one yet? Ok while you are still thinking Cradily,Venasuar, Meganuim, Leafeon pretty much can hold their own in OU.I could go on but you catch the point.

The real choice is imo between Electric and Fire and Electric has Zapdos, Raikou, Magnezone, Electbuzz and Jolteon which pretty decent when compared with what fire has.

It counts.

Yeah, but I wanted actual jet-packs, not wing looking... things (honestly, I have no idea what they are)

Besides, it looks more like a digimon than a pokemon... in fact I think I recognize it as a digimon...

EDIT:
beside, pokemon really can't have weaponry like that.

They had guns involved in the anime... I just had to point that out even though it was on ONE episode that got banned

Actually I think they are jet packs based on how he use them in the show.

It is a digimon but that's not the point. The point is thing like built-in gun arms or jet packs are not pokemon elements at all. Pokemon don't have recognizable weapons or equipment built onto their bodies. Everything in pokemon has to look organic in some shape or form.

*cough*Blastoise*cough*

Seriously though, Leech Seed/Flare Blitz/Wood Hammer sounds awesome. Just had a great thought, if we give it the LS/FB/WH thing, why not give it the Reckless ability? I can picture it now, some suicidal porcupine with magic chili peppers on its back....

Fire, definitely. There are only two native fire pokemon in Sinnoh... we need more, and better Fire pokemon. An unusual secondary typing would be good as well. Fire/Poison with Levitate anyone?

i dont know if either of those would work with a porcupine...perhaps a rhino though...i think the rhydon family is the only rhino inspired pokemon group, and i could easily see a grassy rhino. or maybe something similar...im envisioning something 4 footed that charges to attack...

of course, this is getting way ahead of the project...i'll shut up now.

This actually makes sense, seeing as Sinnoh is (for the most part) a cold/snowy, mountainous region.

Also, (if you count the Battle zone) there are actually 6 evolution chains of fire pokemon in Sinnoh.

Chimchar > Monferno > Infernape
Ponyta > Rapidash
Slugma > Magcargo
Numel > Camerupt
Torkoal
Heatran

Fire

It's a type that never gets enough new Pokemon. It's very offensive, and still has good resistances, but never really any defensive Pokemon to use it well. I say a second type that also resists ground that is fire would be cool. Grass/Fire would be great, and a lot of creativity would come from trying to make a Pokemon out of that typing.

When I first saw this, I wanted a Psychic, but since there's no way that's happening at this rate, I'll go with my second choice, Electric. Not that it needs any help lol.

I'm wondering if we'll ever get to go nuts and create an uber with everything overpowered we can come up with. (apart from Ghost/Dark Wonder Guard, hackers have done that already)

The number of Pokemon affected by auto-rain and auto-sun are much greater than those affected by auto-hail, and the impact is much greater than those affected by auto-sand. Honestly I'd love them in OU, since my favorite type is fire and I like swift swimmers, but it would shift the metagame into a completely new zone, ESPECIALLY if we don't implement both a drizzler and droughter at the same time.
Well, yeah, maybe. What if, instead of Drizzle and Drought we implemented some sort of "Drizzle-lite" and "Drought-lite" abilities? Upon switching, the weather would change to rainy/sunny, but weather would only stay 5 turns after switching the pokémon out. Saves a moveslot and a turn, but doesn't set auto-weather, so you have to keep alive that pokémon to assure you can use the weather well.
