Well as some of you may have noticed, there has been a shocking addition to the CAP lineup and some may even say that it was a bit froggy getting to the end, but we are all as stubborn as a bull in making sure it got done!
Definitely wanna start by giving shoutouts to my TLT for helping me through my first ever TL appointment. I specifically wanna thank ausma and SHSP for reassuring me when I had some doubts as TL thanks their tenure as former TLs. I also wanna thank Brambane for providing insight as one of the "OGs" to the CAP community and the process itself. Lastly, I wanna thank Earthflax as he has showcased that he is knowledgeable and willing to do what it takes as a first-time TLT member. Hopefully he is an inspiration to those looking to get involved with TLT for future processes.
I also wanna say that while this wasn't my personal favorite of the concepts that got slated, I do not regret for a second the way this process went and how much fun I had being TL. When we went into Concept Assessment, our biggest thing was finding the contradiction and man was there some very passionate arguments for all options, but when we settled on a "wall with typing contradiction" the community did not disappoint when it came to leaning into that. Going into Typing, this was the most crucial stage of the entire process as it is what would set the tone for the rest of the process so ausma had a lot on her shoulders. Luckily she handled it like a boss and we had a wide range of options going into the typing poll. Next was ability, which was again a bit of a "blank page" as we now needed the rest of the major steps to justify why 35 would be a wall despite having a typing that doesn't necessarily scream it. This is where the community shined as we had a wide range of options that Earthflax stated and surprisingly we settled on a more offensive ability in Electromorphosis rather than a generic defensive ability. Next was Stats, where Brambane gave a good amount of wiggle room that there were plenty of options to be slated and ultimately Amamama's spread was the winner (and they also won the art!!!). Lastly, we had to determine the 1.0 movepool for CAP 35, so SHSP hit us with the hard questions and the community eventually came together and compiled an amazing list of moves for CAP 35 to thrive!
