EDIT: - Note to self. Aldaron's vote --> Tennis.
TIme Mage's vote --> Tennix
From now on all misc information will be contained in the Stratergy Dex Sticky!

In the past we've had a lot of debate over how much of a difference being the first option is, the main argument being that people just wanting to see the results and people who "vote for the sake of voting" vote for the first option. In this poll I've made the first option "I just want to see the results" and we'll see how different this result is from the results in CM Poll 2.

Other than that, may the best movepool win!

X-Act
Here is my proposed movepool:

Basically I put in all the important moves that people wanted for our Pokemon without making the movepool look broken or forced.

The moves in bold are the ones that I consider being definitely worthy of using, while the ones in italics are those that might find a place in a few movesets, but should generally not be standard.

The following is a list of utility moves that our Pokemon would be capable of learning if this movepool wins the poll:

Code:
Encore
Rapid Spin
Trick Room
Tailwind (as a pre evo move)
Wish
Whirlwind
Disable
Block
Gravity
Knock Off
Spikes
Toxic Spikes
Stealth Rock
Safeguard
Reflect
Light Screen
Taunt
Torment
Thief
Embargo
Recycle
Skill Swap
Snatch
Psych Up
Helping Hand (for 2vs2)
Follow Me (for 2vs2)
As you can see, I tried to cater for what the people wanted for this Pokemon. I listened to what reasonable people wanted and tried to tailor make my movepool in that regard, while adding some personal interesting options for our Pokemon (the Heart Scale moves, Teeter Dance and Disable, for example).

As for attacking moves, I didn't go much overboard. Besides giving it the obvious STAB moves, I gave it Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Shock Wave and Gyro Ball. Since this Pokemon will not focus on attacking, I deemed these moves to be enough. I removed BlindingMire from the movepool of this Pokemon because it seemed like people didn't want it that much, so, again, I listened to what they wanted and removed it.

The egg moves are all possible to be learned if this Pokemon would be in the Ground egg group (a reasonable assumption), where Smeargle resides.

Thank you in advance for voting for my movepool!

Why my movepool is different:

For starters, there is no Prevo flavor bullshit in there. All the necessary moves are there.
Second, it has almost no flavor moves, because most of them don't make sense.
My movepool is now the only one with U-Turn, something many people wanted on this Pokemon.
Last, it completely conforms to the guide.

Here's why some moves are missing by the way:

Counter/Mirror Coat - Never really wanted them on here, no room.
Block/Spider Web - " "
Icy Wind - Come on people, there really WASN'T room. It sucks anyways.
New Move - Nothing personal X-Act, but I really don't like making a new move.
Focus Punch- Common sense people, we didn't give it Close Combat/Cross Chop.
Elemental Attacks - Don't make sense.

I voted for my own, but I'll reiterate what I've just said in the other thread.

The lack of U-turn in my movepool is a non-issue, really, as it can very easily be added, being a TM. The reason I did not add it is because I forgot all about it, really, not because I don't want it. But now it's too late. Vote for whichever movepool you like best.

Who knows X-Act, some people might even be voting for your movepool due to the lack of U-Turn.

Its not just U-Turn, I also like that Tennis has Haze.

Also, my thought process on this is that you vote for movepools as they are stated. Otherwise what stops Tennis from saying "I'll just add Focus Punch as a TM and random nonviable support moves as Egg Moves )replacing a few random attacks)." You end up voting for moves that aren't listed.

Yeah, I agree Deck Knight, on second thoughts. I just wanted to state that the lack of U-turn is not due to my hate for the move.

(Also my movepool has Whirlwind which is as good as Haze most of the time. :jump:)

There are no partial or change-reliant votes here. X-Act has already decided that U-Turn will not be added to his movepool, hence nothing has nor will changed. The rules for this thread remain as they were at the begening, and as follows:

Process Guide said:
All the members selected in the Complete Movepool Submission thread should make a final submission to the TL. These submissions should be listed in the OP of the poll thread and voted on by the community. No alterations, edits, or conditional votes will be accepted. By the time the final movepool is polled, all competitive movepool aspects have already been decided. Therefore, the final movepool is really a vote of individual preference on what best fits the flavor of the pokemon."

Calm down. X Act didn't decide to not include U-Turn, rather he forgot about the move.

Anyway, I vote for X-Act as Knock Off needs more quality users and his his reasoning for inclusion/non inclusion is more sound than Tennises.

Calm down. X Act didn't decide to not include U-Turn, rather he forgot about the move.
Read the thread over again, focusing on the part of Deck knights post that X-Act states he agrees with. Also try to avoid obvious attempts to patronise in the future. In my experience the best way to stamp out rule breakers is with a font seven "No.", and there's no need for you to interpret that as an outburst of any sort. If everyone starts voting fo X-Acts presuming it will get U-Turn then this poll soon goes down the drain.

If we let everyone chop and change theirs in order to take away the other movepools advantage this would quickly deteriate to two identicle movepools. They need something to set themselves apart from each other.

Voting as is, I'm voting for U-turn.

As is. Only one of the two choices has U-turn.

Therefore, I am voting for tennis.

Fair enough. But I was only pointing out hat it wasn't a deliberate move by X Act to get people to vote for him. And the reason I thought it was an outbrust was because of the caps lol.

No hard feelings?

Wait, I haven't added the move. Please vote for whichever you prefer, as the movepools are written. If I lose because I forgot about U-turn, it'll be just my fault for forgetting it.

If anyone voted by mistake for me, you can say so now and your vote will be counted for Tennis.

I'll also edit some posts so that there's no further confusion.

Perhaps the first option should have been something more subtle like "Sunday+" so that people with no idea of what was going on would actually be tempted to vote for it.

I haven't checked back in a while, and when I saw that Tennis's movepool had Haze and U-Turn and X-Act's did not, I voted for his. However, upon further considering the posts in this thread, I feel that my vote was too hastily placed. In any case, both movepools are acceptable to me...although I hope X-Act wins.

None at all.

Well there haven't been all that many votes, but looking through who has voted I see very few from people that I don't recognise at all. And even for people who don't come here all that often reading through two movepools isn't too hard so I don't expect many people will take that option.

Although I'd like U-Turn, tennis not having Tailwind is reason enough to vote for X-Act's. And Knock Off is also nice.

Ugh.

Well now I guess I am voting for the Knock Off-less-but-U-turn-possessing movepool that TennisAce has designed =/

Yea, on that note can my vote be changed from X-Act to TennisAce please?

U-turn is just too awesome on this thing that I cannot overlook it.

I get the argument about how this whole thing would dissolve into chaos if each movepool kept changing between each other, but why would it be such a big deal to have, like, a minipoll at the beginning of the next thread, much like the "Should we allow the new move?" pool, simply asking if X-Act can add U-Turn to his movepool? It seems quite arbitrary to me to say that even that, a poll after this one to propose the addition of one overlooked TM to the movepool, would ruin the process.

I don't really care about U-Turn one way or the other myself, I'm just saying, why don't we give people what they want? Voted for X-Act either way.

(EDIT: I edited my post, but before I edited it, yes, I really did say what Tennis quoted on the next page.)
