Because KoA's design is a levitating thing and I do NOT want another bug type that can fly but is still susceptible to Ground-type moves

And Yilx's design has armour so it makes more sense for Weak Armour. It also has this nice ancient look. Perfect for a psychic type.

But kudos to both. Both are awesome

Both are awesome, but I prefer the scorpion, it better fits the stats we've already chosen.
