I say male and female, there's not much reason not to in my opinion. =\

Levitate makes the most sense, the damn thing floats for god's sake.

Sniper because it's got those pointy limbs and can shoot them at things.

Also it needs power, and sniper provides that.

If it had a gender, that would kind of imply it has genitalia. Do clumps of rock have genitalia. Therefore, I voted genderless.

As for the abilities:
Choice 1: Limber
Choice 2: Levitate

seem like the most sensical and useful abilities.

Unless CaP5 gets Technician, it needs good STAB.
 
Hey, shouldn't we at least have the option of voting for Tinted Lens?

Can I be like Nader's Raiders and vote for it even though it's not on a ballot, or would that invalidate my vote?

Yes, New Move. Tennis mentioned Meteor Shower once. It would probably be broken, but I still think that a Rock-type Draco Meteor would be unprecedentedly cool.
 
blah Tennis, you could have given us more options than this. Especially the Aftermath, Tinted Lens, Technician combo that was posted all over the last 2 or 3 pages. I'm just saying, one of the advantages of bold polls is more than ten options.

Don't really want to give this guy technician, or intimidate, the rest will work. A tad disappointed aftermath wasn't picked, or frisk.....
And yea a new move would be good, thinking along the lines of a rock based shadowball, maybe psychic, we'll see, as long as I don't have to deal with fucking ancient power hax

Technician, I just love technician + icy wind/mud shot too much.
Aftermath, because it adds a little something to it's sweeping capabilities.

About time we got round to trying out making a new move..
And that way we don't need Technician...

My one question is, would Smeregle get it? CaP should not alter existing Pokemon's movepools, and Smeregle gets every move..
 
Voted Genderless because I can't see this CAP5 Pokemon being a male or female.

These are for obvious reasons because it looks like it would have rough skin and levitate to have a ground immunity to cover its' ground weakness.

There are many ways we can make this balanced without creating a new move. Basically I'm rooting for Technician + no new move. Aftermath would be an interesting choice as well, since no one besides 2 UU pokemon have a chance to use it.
 
No Magnet Pull?!? You got to be kidding me, I seriously want to hear the reasoning behind not adding Magnet Pull on this poll? It wasn't a powerful or broken ability, and easily justifiable too. It did have some support, unlike Intimidate which I don't remember getting any support.

I'm posting again just to post that Rough Skin could be interesting as well because only one pokemon I believe gets access to Rough Skin, Sharpedo.
 
Still no Tinted Lens...it would be interesting to see something like that tearing up the metagame...

I am voting yes to hedge against the chance that Technician loses.

The gender thing is workable for this. Otherwise, how do Geodudes and Glalies have genders?
Also, the gender might not imply actual reproductive organs, but differing electromagnetic polarities for males and females (e.g. positive and negative). In order to reproduce, two CAP 5's of the opposite polarity would have to come together and combine their fields or something.
Don't ask how this would work if it tried to breed with Steelix.

Even with Technician this guys most consistent STAB will be base 89 (Hidden Power 59). I believe giving it another decent STAB option will greatly help its sweeping potential as it will no longer have to rely on a boosted Ancient Power, or a Hidden Power. Ancient Power has PP issues while if it uses its HP for its main stab then it might not have as wide a coverage since it will lack the ability to use a specific hidden power to cover a specific threat.

With Technician we could easily fashion some base 60 power rock move that has a decent amount of PP. Meanwhile we could also make some decent base powered rock move for when people don't want to use Technician. Though this might not be as necessary since there is Power Gem which is decent.
