Levitate
Inner Focus

It should obviously have Levitate as it's floating. I feel that Inner Focus should be the other ability as it's one of the "not-so-good" abilities listed there, having two awesome ones wouldn't be the best idea.

Side Poll 2: No

A new move would be cool, as it's likely to have no egg moves. But I'm going to decide against it because there's enough out there for it to be good enough already.

Technician
Clear Body

Technician so it can run some interesting special sets.
Clear Body just seems to go with the crystal

Side Poll 2: Yes

Levitate
Inner Focus

Levitate purely due to the art. Possessing an immunity to an important physical weakness doesn't hurt either, but it didn't originally cross my mind. I'm not looking for ways to make it as broken as possible. Inner Focus is one of the less useful abilities, so I naturally chose it for the reason previously stated.

Side Poll 2: Yes
Unless we actually want to minimize STAB and possibly compromise CAP 5's usefulness, I believe this to be a necessity. If CAP 5 is genderless, we won't have to worry about altering the Egg Moves of existing Pokémon, either.

What is this nonsense?

Do you really just ignore the opinions of various individuals due to simply your own misgivings?

Tinted Lens should be an option.

I am really discouraged, since this is a community project.

Aftermath

No new move

I hope the 93 people (at the moment this is being typed) who want this pokemon to be genderless all understand that genderless pokemon don't get egg moves. I guess it's a bit late now, but I would have thought twice before choosing that option. Either option (gender or no gender) works flavor-wise. If Koffing has a gender, this pokemon can. And the lack of egg moves is an unnecessary complication for anyone hoping to submit a movepool later in the creation process. I already have a tentative movepool waiting to be revised and submitted, and it currently stands to lose some interesting moves, including Ancientpower (which is important if Technician wins) and Earth Power, if egg moves are not allowed. Anyone else working on a movepool will experience a similar headache if about eighty voters don't appear now to give this guy a gender.

For this reason, I voted for CAP 5 to have a gender.

Limber
Aftermath

New Move?- Yes

I actually want to use limber, and technician will probably over shadow it (since technician probably means no new move).

Levitate
Sniper

Side Poll 2: Yes

In using Technician we're limiting ourselves, as there's not a whole lot that YDG can use it for. Ancient Power and HP, that's about it. A new move would allow for roughly the same BP as Ancient Power (~90) while also allowing us to use a different ability to not completely shaft YDG. Levitate allows it to switch in on EQ, which it does need - I don't think this thing can switch in on a hit and then LO sweep or something, priority moves would still wreck it - it needs all the health it can when coming in.

Also, Sniper needs more love. I do believe it's not seen in OU...

Technician
Levitate

Side poll: Yes

Would be cool, for this thing to have it's own technician move. But it looks like more of a levitater, but there are just too many levitaters. A 60 rock move would be awesome.

tinted lense
limber
just seem to suit the pokemon the most whilre staying pretty useful

side poll yes i just wanna special rock attack i think base 80-90 is reasonable.

Technician
Aftermath
Side Poll 2: No

Looks like our friend Rocky won't be getting Attract.

Levitate
Aftermath

Yes

I think that leviatate would suit it, and Aftermath would too. and they are both not too game breaking. But this is moreso a vote against technician

Technician
Levitate

Side Poll: Yes

I think technician would consolidate Rockmon's position as a mold-breaker, seeing it as the first rock pokemon with it. hidden power becomes awesome too.

Technician
Pressure
I'd rather just Technician, but since I must vote for two, Pressure is fine.

Side Poll 2: No
I'm not in favor of new moves ever, so I'm a bit biasied, but we already have Ancient Power/Power Gem for Special Rock STAB, so I don't think a new move is necessary anyway.

Levitate
Technician

They just seem to "click" for me. Tech is mainly there if there is no new move

Side Poll 2: Yes

Even with Technician this guys most consistent STAB will be base 89 (Hidden Power 59). I believe giving it another decent STAB option will greatly help its sweeping potential as it will no longer have to rely on a boosted Ancient Power, or a Hidden Power. Ancient Power has PP issues while if it uses its HP for its main stab then it might not have as wide a coverage since it will lack the ability to use a specific hidden power to cover a specific threat.

What I think.

1. Levitate
2. Aftermath

As has previously been stated, it looks like it can levitate, and it needs to be able to switch in on something without reliance of an item. Plus, aftermath would just be sweet on something like this.

Side Poll 2: Yes!
