Anyway, how about Reflarwhal? (Reff-lar-wall) (Reflect [like secondary moves on this pokemon] - Dark - [what this pokemon is] Narwhal [what the sprite is based on.])

So im going to be original and submit some weird name that sounds cool.
First of them is Mobius. Well this was the base, mainly because theres a scientist dude called something something Möbius who did a theory on techtonics and surface aka related to ground. Also please don't tell me that Mobius doesnt sound like a whale. But hey its a Yu Gi Oh card so it may sound ripped off and I tried getting some derivations.
Got this ones:
Malbius - Well this one is pretty basic. Möbius + Mal, which means evil/darkness in Spanish, aka fitting the Dark part of this bro, while fitting the ground one thanks to the scientist, and also sounds like a whale.
Molbius - Yeah, its very close to that one, and it also includes part of the word "Mal". But this one could be interpreted as part of "mold" too, which for the guys that dont know, means something related to soil, aka even more ground, and it still sounds like a whale!!
PS: Whales = Narwhals to me so sorry if it bothers someone.
Just my 2 cents, I would appreciate some help with which one to pick, but if you think its stupid/dumb its totally fine.

I thought Umbra was latin for dark? Hence "Umbreon"?
How 'bout Basurasta? Keeping it simple with Spanish, Basur(dirt) and asta (horn). If these are wrong, it's cus Google Earth sucks.

Anyways, here's my first attempt.

Okay, this one is kind of strange. At first glance, it doesn't seem like it has any thing to do with narwhals. Well, it kind of does, at least with the design. Con, the Latin root, means cone. Basically, it's talking about the horn, or drill, which is clearly in a cone like shape. The second part, cine, is the Latin root for motion. The whole name translates to cone motion, as the drill is going to move, for attacking people, burrowing through the ground, etc. I know the name is very vague, but think of most of the english language words that come from latin... Anyways, I like the name, so I'm submitting it.

Im trying to pull from different languages to create a name.
In Mandarin Chinese, a narwhal is known as "dujiaojing" or single-horned-whale.
In French, drill can be said as "roulette".
I'm going for something like "drill whale", so right now, the best name I can come up with from that is Roujing. It combines roulette (drill) and jing (whale) Any comments, criticism, or recommendations for change are appreciated!

Here is another name I came up with after reading bearzly's comment two posts below. This one combines the Chinese pinyin name for intense rage (lienu) and the Chinese name for massive whale (kun). The name I came up with is Lienukun, which can roughly translate to "whale of intense rage".

I like this. Seriously, what is not cool about penetration?! Might I suggest Penecean, Petracean, or Penetrean. I know these don't capture the full effect of Penetracean's components, but this name is just so cool. It musn't die!

I think I have learned a valuable experience from this. Check the rest of the thread before posting to make sure no-one else has thought of that name already. :/
Seriously though, I completely skipped the first page, and all of the comments on Narbrawl after my post made me think it was original to me. I actually came up with the name myself, and just didn't realize someone had already used it. Talk about one in a million.
Don't worry, though, I'll come up with a new one.
EDIT: Just making sure, but he never did post it in a final submission. That means that he never really submitted it, although he did come up with the idea. Could I use it if this were the case? I can understand if I can't, and I am sorry about all the trouble this is causing.

Thanks, Pongravity. The reason I changed it though, is someone thought I was making an Innuendo, which I was NOT.
Out of those, my favorite is Penetrean, which gets it under the limit, and still captures the theme I was going for.

I'm currently split between two lines of names...
Monstrole or even just Monstro, referencing the whale from Pinnochio, seems fitting for this Pokemon. Monstrole combines it with hole/mole.
Amboregris is my second idea. Combines bore with ambergris. The wordplay doesn't quite work as well as I'd like, but I think the idea is solid.
So, any suggestions on which I should go with? Suggestions for improvement are also always welcome.

Soctale: Soct is a greek suffix for darkness, and I combined it with whale. I like the ring to it.
That doesn't make sense. Why should you get credit for any part of the submission when everyone can clearly see you've had nothing to do with it? Because the original creator is still looking for opinions? lolwut
