[OVERVIEW]
Celesteela is a very potent wall in AG, capable of checking common Pokemon such as Swords Dance Ultra Necrozma, Necrozma-DM, Arceus-Fairy, Arceus-Ground, Arceus-Steel, Extreme Killer Arceus, and non-V-create Mega Rayquaza. Its high viability comes from its ability to check almost all Arceus formes and Pokemon that struggle to deal significant damage to it due to its ability to easily recover HP while simultaneously wearing down the opponent's team with Leftovers, Toxic, and Leech Seed. Furthermore, Celesteela possesses a stellar Steel / Flying typing as well as phenomenal natural bulk to go along with it. Immunity to the omnipresent Toxic makes it far easier for it to take on bulky support Pokemon that rely on poisoning the foe, making Celesteela much more challenging to break. Due to how passive it is, however, it's able to be trapped and removed by Shadow Tag Pokemon such as Gothitelle and Will-O-Wisp Mega Gengar, leaving the team open to being annoyed by the offensive and bulky Pokemon that Celesteela handles. Also, Pokemon such as Mega Rayquaza, Extreme Killer Arceus, and Swords Dance Arceus-Ground commonly carry moves to beat Celesteela, with the former carrying V-create and the latter two carrying Substitute in order to set up and take out Celesteela one-on-one. Lastly, due to Celesteela's passive nature and method of removing opposing Pokemon, it cannot properly take advantage of Beast Boost.

Moves
========
Leech Seed is Celesteela's primary means of maintaining its HP throughout the match. It helps force switches and wears down the opposing team, especially when facing threats like Mega Rayquaza and Marshadow, which do not have access to recovery. Protect is used to increase the recovery Celesteela receives from Leech Seed and Leftovers as well as scout Choice-locked Pokemon. Toxic is used to wear down the opposing team's support Pokemon as well as switch-ins to Celesteela, reducing their overall longevity and pressuring them, making it easier for Celesteela's teammates to sweep. The combination of Substitute and Protect, along with recovery from Leftovers and Leech Seed, enables Celesteela to wear down the foe more efficiently. Flame Charge is used to outspeed threats such as support Arceus, Calm Mind Arceus, and Necrozma-DM. Provided Celesteela hasn't been afflicted with Leech Seed, Flame Charge allows it to beat Ferrothorn. Celesteela is still quite slow after this boost, so Flame Charge must be used multiple times in order to gather significant Speed. Heavy Slam is used to hit Pokemon such as Mega Gengar, which traps Celesteela and can afflict it with Taunt to shut it down otherwise, as well as hitting threats such as Xerneas, Marshadow, Mega Rayquaza, and Ultra Necrozma for solid damage.

Set Details
========
Maximum HP and Defense investment helps Celesteela better handle Pokemon such as Marshadow, Swords Dance Arceus formes, and Swords Dance Ultra Necrozma and switch into non-V-create Mega Rayquaza. Its Special Defense is high enough naturally to handle support Arceus and other passive Pokemon uninvested, so it should not be invested in. Leftovers is the only item for Celesteela, as it allows it to recover more HP in conjunction with Leech Seed, as well as providing recovery if Leech Seed misses.

Usage Tips
========
Celesteela should be used primarily to wear down passive Pokemon such as the ubiquitous support Arceus formes, which can do little to Celesteela, while it can poison them with Toxic or recover HP on them. Celesteela should be brought in on Pokemon that it walls such as Arceus-Ground, Arceus-Steel, Arceus-Poison, defensive Necrozma-DM, and Arceus-Fairy. Leech Seed is its most spammable move and should be used generously to keep Celesteela's HP high throughout the match. Protect can be used to scout Choice-locked Pokemon such as Mega Rayquaza, Ho-Oh, and Yveltal. This move must be used carefully, however, as it can give the opponent free setup turns or a boost from Moody. Toxic should be used when Celesteela does not need Leech Seed recovery, as it can permanently hinder an opponent's Pokemon unless a cleric is present. Heavy Slam prevents Celesteela from being completely passive and provides a way to break opposing Pokemon that have Substitute or Taunt. It also more quickly pressures Pokemon that cannot be worn down with status such as Mega Gengar. Flame Charge variants can take on and defeat Pokemon such as Arceus-Steel, Arceus-Poison, and Necrozma-DM, as they can rack up Speed boosts to be faster, set Leech Seed, and use Substitute and Protect to stall out the foe's PP and maintain Celesteela's HP. Celesteela heavily benefits from entry hazard support, as the opponent may try to stall out Leech Seed and Flame Charge's PP with constant switches. Celesteela needs to keep its HP high so it can keep its teammates safe from opposing bulky Toxic users, so it is very important for Celesteela to not stay in against strong special attackers, as it acts as a physical wall to passive Pokemon, as well as not staying in on Pokemon with strong super effective hits such as Zygarde, Mega Rayquaza, Ho-Oh, and Primal Groudon. Celesteela should not be left in against Pokemon with Substitute, as it cannot break it and they are immune to Leech Seed and Toxic. To avoid being trapped by Gothitelle, aggressive switching can be used.

Team Options
========
Celesteela acts as a fantastic defensive glue on balanced teams that need to wear down opposing passive walls, so it fits best with Pokemon seen on balanced teams rather than stall. Entry hazard support such as Stealth Rock is great for Celesteela teams, as it increases the damage to the opposing Pokemon when combined with Toxic + Leech Seed damage. Arceus-Rock makes a great partner for Celesteela, as together they can wall most Rayquaza sets with their combined typings, and Arceus-Rock can set Stealth Rock. Arceus-Water can check Pokemon that annoy Celesteela such as Zygarde-C, Ho-Oh, and Primal Groudon, although it must be wary of Toxic. Ferrothorn makes a good partner for Celesteela, as together they form a Leech Seed core that wears down the opposing team, and Ferrothorn can set entry hazards for Celesteela as well as handle Primal Kyogre. Zygarde is another great partner for Celesteela, as it can handle Ho-Oh and Groudon and wall other Zygarde with either Dragon Tail or Haze. It can also help spread Toxic if it opts to run it. Celesteela in turn takes care of support Arceus formes such as Fairy, Water, and Ground. Setup sweepers that benefit from bulky support Pokemon worn down such as Mega Rayquaza and Ultra Necrozma appreciate Celesteela's help. Yveltal and Arceus-Dark are good partners for Celesteela, as they can take out and pressure Mega Gengar and Gothitelle. Offensive answers to Calm Mind Arceus formes such as Arceus-Dark, Arceus-Fairy with Fire Blast, and Arceus-Rock are important if Flame Charge is not used, such as Choice Scarf Rayquaza and Marshadow, as well as defensive ones such as Chansey and Ho-Oh.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
========
Celesteela performs its specific role of walling passive Pokemon and wearing down the opponent's team with Toxic and Leech Seed very well, and due to this specificity, there are very few other options for it. Flamethrower can be used instead of Heavy Slam if Celesteela's team benefits from taking out Ferrothorn and Skarmory, which otherwise wall this set and set up Spikes for free. Shed Shell can be used to mitigate Celesteela's weakness to Gothitelle and Mega Gengar. However, this is discouraged, as Celesteela appreciates Leftovers recovery even just to recover Stealth Rock damage.

Checks and Counters
========
**Fire-types**: Pokemon such as Primal Groudon and Ho-Oh force Celesteela out due to their type advantage Ho-Oh is not bothered too greatly by any of Celesteela's moves due to Regenerator, and defensive variants of Primal Groudon can sometimes carry Rest.

**Pokemon Resilient to Leech Seed and Toxic**: Pokemon such as Giratina, Zygarde, Ferrothorn, Ho-Oh, and Arceus-Poison are not bothered by Toxic and Leech Seed damage. Ferrothorn is immune to Leech Seed and Toxic but it must be wary of Flame Charge. Ho-Oh is not bothered by Toxic or Leech Seed thanks to Regenerator and forces Celesteela out.

**Substitute Setup Sweepers**: Dragon Dance Zygarde, Swords Dance Arceus, and Swords Dance Arceus-Ground can carry Substitute, making them immune to Celesteela's Toxic and Leech Seed. These Pokemon are also bulky and heavy enough that Celesteela's Heavy Slam does not break their Substitutes.

**Shadow Tag**: Pokemon with Shadow Tag can trap and remove Celesteela, especially Gothitelle, as it does not fear the damage from Heavy Slam as Mega Gengar does.

**Strong Special Attackers**: Pokemon like Yveltal, Primal Kyogre, Geomancy Xerneas with Thunder, Choice Specs Lunala, and Calm Mind Ultra Necrozma can take out Celesteela with their heavy-hitting special attacks due to Celesteela's uninvested Special Defense.

**Mega Sableye**: Mega Sableye can bounce back Celesteela's Leech Seed and Toxic, which effectively shuts it down. It also does not take significant damage from Heavy Slam.

[Overview]
- Celesteela is a very potent wall in AG capable of checking common Pokemon in the metagame such as Arceus-Water, Arceus-Fairy, Arceus-Ground, Arceus-Steel, and non V-Create Mega Rayquaza, among others.
- It's high viability comes from its ability to check almost all Arceus formes and passive Pokemon in general, its ability to easily recover HP with leftovers and leech seed while simultaneously wearing down the opponent's team with toxic and leech seed. this is kinda awkward to read but that's more of a gp thing
- It has a stellar Steel/Flying typing as well as phenomenal natural bulk to go along with it. this is kind of misleading since mons like arceus and giratina have significantly better bulk; celesteela is mostly worth for its typing imo (and arguably leech seed)
- Unlike other bulky steels, such as Ferrothorn and Skarmory, it has a decent amount of offensive presence through the use of heavy slam, which is has a base power of 120 vs common taunt users such as Mega Gengar and Yveltal. note that ferrothorn has 150 base power gyro ball? heavy slam actually isn't all that reliable against the weight of most of the common mons in ag, and i'm pretty sure heavy slam is 100 base power against yveltal instead of 120.
- Immunity to toxic makes it far easier to take on the support Pokemon that Celesteela beats, as they almost always carry toxic themselves.
- Due to how passive it is, thought, its able to be trapped and removed by Gothitelle, leaving the team open to being annoyed by the bulky Pokemon that Celesteela handles. this is true for trappers in general, not just goth, especially if it doesn't have heavy slam.
- Pokemon such as Mega Rayquaza, extreme killer Arceus, and swords dance Arceus-Ground almost always carry moves to beat Celesteela, such as v-create for Rayquaza, or carry substitute in the case of Arceus and Arceus-Ground to setup and take out Celesteela 1v1.
- Like other metagames, due to celesteela's bulky nature and method by which it takes out opposing pokemon, it cannot properly utilize beast boost. offensive steela when

- Toxic is used to wear down the opposing team's support Pokemon as well as switch ins to Celesteela, reducing their overall longevity and pressuring them, making it easier for Celesteela's teammates to sweep.
- Substitute is used on this set in conjunction with flame charge speed boosts, leftovers recovery, leech seed, and protect to stall the opponent's health and pp. imo, substitute should always be used with protect to more reliably wall
- Leech seed is the primary method by which Celesteela maintains it's hp throughout the match. It helps force switches and wear down the opposing team, especially vs threats like Mega Rayquaza and Marshadow which do not have recovery.
- Protect is used to increase the recovery celesteela receives from leech seed + leftovers as well as scout choice-locked pokemon. note that it stalls out a turn, so in some circumstances, it's bad (like vs smeargle spam)
also note that protect can be used by the opponent to set up

- Heavy Slam is used to hit Pokemon such as Mega Gengar which traps Celesteela and can taunt it to shut it down otherwise, as well as hitting threats such as Xerneas, Marshadow, Rayquaza-Mega, and Ultra Necrozma for solid damage.
- Flame Charge is used to outspeed threats such as support Arceus, calm mind Arceus, and Dusk Mane among others. It also allows Celesteela to beat Ferrothorn provided it is not leech seeded. i think you should mention that steela is still quite slow after a boost
- Flamethrower can be used instead of protect if the team Celesteela is in benefits from taking out Ferrothorn and Skarmory, which otherwise wall this set and set up spikes on Celesteela. why would flamethrower be used instead of protect, when you can swap out another attack for it? not very intuitive immediately

- Max HP and Defense EVs are used to help Celesteela better handle Pokemon such as Marshadow, swords dance Arceus formes, swords dance Ultra Necrozma, and switching into Mega Rayquaza
- Its special defensive is high enough naturally to handle support Arceus and other passive Pokemon uninvested.
- Alternatively, 44 special defense EVs can be used to avoid the 2hko from z-geomancy Xerneas's moonblast.
- Leftovers is the only item for Celesteela as it allows for Celesteela to recover more hp in conjunction with leech seed as well as providing recovery if leech seed misses.

Usage Tips
========
- Celesteela should be used primarily to wear down passive Pokemon such as the ubiquitous support Arceus formes which can do little to Celesteela while it can toxic them or recover hp on them.
- Leech seed is the most spammable move and should be used generously to keep Celesteela's hp high throughout the match.
- Celesteela's protect can be used to scout whether or not a choice-locked Mega Rayquaza is going to v-create the next turn, which allows Celesteela to stay in on it and recover more hp or toxic a new Pokemon when Rayquaza switches out. this isn't just true for mray, it's also true for every other choiced mon, but this seems to imply that it's only good against mray
- Celesteela can be switched in to Mega Rayquaza unless it uses v-create, and this move must be scouted for on the opposing Rayquaza and played around if they have it. physical attackers that can't hit it very hard in general can't break steela, mray is not alone in this respect
- Toxic is used to cause a permanent hindrance to all pokemon on the opposing team, both offensive and defensive. i wouldn't say it's permanent given that cleric support exists (and rest as well), also all pokemon suggests that by clicking toxic every mon gets toxic'd
- Heavy slam and flamethrower prevent Celesteela from being completely passive and provides a way to break opposing Pokemon which have substitute or taunt. Heavy slam allows for extra pressure on opposing Pokemon along with toxic and/or leech seed and flamethrower surprises Pokemon which traditionally wall Celesteela such as Skarmory, Ferrothorn, and weakened opposing Celesteela. some unnecessary info here; just say that attacks prevent celesteela from being setup / taunt bait
- Celesteela with flame charge can take on and defeat Pokemon such as Arceus-Steel, Arceus-Poison, and refresh Arceus-Dark. It accomplishes this as it can rack up speed boosts with flame charge to be faster, set leech seed, then use substitute and protect to wear down the opponent's pp and maintain Celesteela's HP.
you don't absolutely need flame charge to do this; it's just more convenient and lets steela be more useful after the opponent's mon gets worn down.
- Celesteela needs to keep its hp high so it does not go down and allow a team to be annoyed by other bulky toxic users, so it is very important for Celesteela to not stay in vs strong special attackers as it acts as a physical wall and a wall to passive Pokemon, as well as not staying in on Pokemon with strong super effective hits such as Zygarde and Groudon-Primal. zygarde isn't particularly strong without boosts, especially as TA is neutral on first hit
- Gothitelle is a big annoyance for any passive Pokemon, so Celesteela is trapped and removed with relative easy by it, which puts a lot of pressure on Celesteela's team. tips on how to avoid goth trapping (aggressive switching, etc.)?

- Entry hazards are great for Celesteela teams, as they increase the damage to the opposing pokemon with stealth rock + toxic + leech seed damage.

- Ferrothorn makes a good partner for Celesteela as they form a leech seed core which wears down the opposing team and Ferrothorn can set hazards for Celesteela as well as handle Primal Kyogre. stacking the steel types isn't an amazing idea, especially for defensive mons unless you're me and and you wanna make mono steel
- Zygarde is another great partner for Celesteela as it can handle Ho-oh, Groudon, and wall other Zygardes with either dragon tail or haze. It can also help spread toxic if it opts to run it.
- Offensive pokemon which benefit from bulky support pokemon worn down such as dragon dance Mega Rayquaza and swords dance or calm mind Ultra Necrozma appreciate Celesteela's help. maybe just say setup mons in general
- Yveltal and Arceus-Dark are good partners for Celesteela as they can take out and pressure Gengar-Mega and Gothitelle .
i think there should be some mention of pdon here; it is a fire resist, can pressure opposing pdon, can deal with pogre, and collectively they are immune to burns and poison, while pdon is also immune to twave. maybe that's just me though
also chansey could be a good idea to remove the passive damage from burns and act as a special wall to compliment celesteela being a physical wall

[Strategy Comments]
Other Options
========
- Celesteela performs its role of walling passive Pokemon and wearing down the opponent's team with toxic and leech seed very well although it was confined to this role alone in the anything goes meta, and as a result there are very few other set or move options for it.
- As previously mentioned, flamethrower on the physically defensive wall set is a good lure for ferrothorn, skarmory, and somewhat for other Celesteela.
mention how it's weak even with the super effective multiplier; idt flamethrower ohkos ferro or even gets close
- Iron defense can be used to wall Dusk Mane and swords dance Ultra variants of Necrozma. However, Skarmory performs this role better and Celesteela loses out on important utility if this is run.
also, even iron defense isn't reliable, as if they SD on the switchin, z-move immediately (and no protect), and then use photon geyser/sunsteel strike i think it kills; correct me if i'm wrong on this
- Shed shell can be used to mitigate Celesteela's weakness to Gothitelle and Mega Gengar. However, this is discouraged as Celesteela appreciates leftovers recovery even just to recover stealth rock damage.

- Ho-oh, Zygarde-Complete, and Groudon-Primal- All of these Pokemon wall and threaten Celesteela in a similar way. Ho-oh can switch in to Celesteela and force it out, and thanks to regenerator it does not fear leech seed or toxic as much. However, sacred fire must be used sparingly as Celesteela can stall out the pp through protect. Zygarde-Complete does not fear Celesteela as it walls it due to rest, which allows it to recover off toxic damage. Offensive variants must be wary of a switch in, but can set up substitute against Celesteela and proceed to set up dragon dance. Similarly, Groudon-Primal can carry rest, roar, or both to deal with Celesteela and force it out with a fire move. this seems like it should just be "mons that can hit it super effectively"
- Shadow Tag Pokemon- Pokemon with Shadow Tag can trap and remove Celesteela, especially Gothitelle, as it does not fear the damage from Heavy Slam as Mega Gengar does.
- Strong Special Attackers- Pokemon like Yveltal, Primal Kyogre, Geomancy Xerneas with thunder, choice specs Lunala, and calm mind Ultra Necrozma can take out Celesteela with their heavy hitting special attacks, due to Celesteela's uninvested special defense.
- Taunt- this prevents Celesteela from fully performing its role as it cannot recover any HP or cripple the opponent with leech seed and toxic.
i think ferro should be mentioned here more because it's immune to leech and toxic and doesn't even fear a fire move that much, while it can set spikes + leech cele
also kart sets up on it lol

changes in bold and memes in bold strikethrough

the spacing on the set is wrong, never have a character right next to a slash. For example, it should be 248 HP / 252 Def not HP/252

The slashing is also weird, it just looks inconsistent. The way it should be organized is Leech, Protect/Toxic, Sub/Toxic, Flame/Heavy. Toxic should be 2nd in both cases and both instances of it should be right next to each other instead of having another move in between. Moving flame charge before heavy slam also reflects that it's the better set, which I think is fair. SubFlame should be the default, first thing you see while Tox+Heavy Slam sets should be the secondary option you manually switch off to

- Toxic is used to wear down the opposing team's support Pokemon as well as switch ins to Celesteela, reducing their overall longevity and pressuring them, making it easier for Celesteela's teammates to sweep.
- Substitute is used on this set in conjunction with flame charge speed boosts, leftovers recovery, leech seed, and protect to stall the opponent's health and pp. you don't really use it with speed boosts to stall the opp, the grammar is just slightly wrong. something about it pairing especially well with flame charge is important and this might get fixed in writeup, js the phrasing isnt right
- Leech seed is the primary method by which Celesteela maintains it's hp throughout the match. It helps force switches and wear down the opposing team, especially vs threats like Mega Rayquaza and Marshadow which do not have recovery.

- Flamethrower can be used instead of protect if the team Celesteela is in benefits from taking out Ferrothorn and Skarmory, which otherwise wall this set and set up spikes on Celesteela. i think this should be OO material, you beat ferro with subcharge, it's basically just one otherwise super subpar move for skarmory which is eh

- Toxic is used to cause a permanent hindrance to all pokemon on the opposing team, both offensive and defensive. this isnt really a usage tip, just a rehash of moves. there is something to say about how and when you should use toxic, but this doesnt say it
- Heavy slam and flamethrower still don't agree w/this prevent Celesteela from being completely passive and provides a way to break opposing Pokemon which have substitute or taunt. Heavy slam allows for extra pressure on opposing Pokemon along with toxic and/or leech seed and flamethrower surprises Pokemon which traditionally wall Celesteela such as Skarmory, Ferrothorn, and weakened opposing Celesteela. again, this just feels like moves. it doesnt say "use heavy slam to more quickly pressure Pokemon you cant/don't want to really wear down with status moves like yveltal", it just rote describes what the moves do. I would rephrase this and drop flamethrower
- Celesteela with flame charge can take on and defeat Pokemon such as Arceus-Steel, Arceus-Poison, and refresh Arceus-Dark. It accomplishes this as it can rack up speed boosts with flame charge to be faster, set leech seed, then use substitute and protect to wear down the opponent's pp and maintain Celesteela's HP.

celest also likes good pdon checks and is gonna need partners to take out CM steelceus if it isn't flame charge

- As previously mentioned, flamethrower on the physically defensive wall set is a good lure for ferrothorn, skarmory, and somewhat for other Celesteela. this isnt how it works. either something goes in OO or in moves, but not both, they mean 2 different things. stuff in moves is notably better than stuff in other options, it gets a higher recommendation. just delete it from there so it can stay here. btw the same situation goes for the alternate 44 spdef spread in set details, but I think that actually is better/noteworthy enough to go in set details rather than down in OO

Similarly, Groudon-Primal can carry rest, roar, or both to deal with Celesteela and force it out with a fire move. this is long and confusing and what i would do is make one section for fire types and one section for zygarde. zygarde just walls and sets up on celest with most of its sets, whereas hooh and don function somewhat differently and mostly rely on type advantage to scare it while needing to avoid getting worn down too much. that seems like the best way to divvy it up to me, you can put it differently if you want but the one mega-section for 3 individual mons doesnt really work imo
- Shadow Tag Pokemon just "Shadow Tag" is good- Pokemon with Shadow Tag can trap and remove Celesteela, especially Gothitelle, as it does not fear the damage from Heavy Slam as Mega Gengar does.
- Taunt- this prevents Celesteela from fully performing its role as it cannot recover any HP or cripple the opponent with leech seed and toxic. i don't know about this section. taunt users are really just mega gengar (covered in stag section) or yveltal (covered in strong special attackers section). nothing else really needs its own mention here, like we don't need deo-s or mewtwo or w/e getting its own section. I'd just get rid of this entirely. also if you were to keep it, you'd need examples of specific taunt users, just for the record

[Overview]
- Celesteela is a very potent wall in AG capable of checking common Pokemon in the metagame such as Arceus-Water, Arceus-Fairy, Arceus-Ground, Arceus-Steel, and non V-Create Mega Rayquaza, among others. Mention Dusk Mane and SD UNecro here over Waterceus, those are much more relevant
- It's high viability comes from its ability to check almost all Arceus formes and passive Pokemon in general, its ability to easily recover HP with leftovers and leech seed while simultaneously wearing down the opponent's team with toxic and leech seed. I'd reword this a bit, just say that Celesteela can annoy and wear down things that struggle to damage it. I don't think checking passive Pokemon reflects Celesteela's main purpose in the current metagame since not all of them are bothered by it.
- It has a stellar Steel/Flying typing as well as phenomenal natural bulk to go along with it.
- Unlike other bulky steels, such as Ferrothorn and Skarmory, it has a decent amount of offensive presence through the use of heavy slam, which can do substantial damage to Pokemon such as Mega Gengar.
- Immunity to toxic makes it far easier to take on the support Pokemon that Celesteela beats, as they almost always carry toxic themselves.
- Due to how passive it is, though, it's able to be trapped and removed by Gothitelle, leaving the team open to being annoyed by the bulky Pokemon that Celesteela handles.
- Pokemon such as Mega Rayquaza, extreme killer Arceus, and swords dance Arceus-Ground very commonly carry moves to beat Celesteela, such as v-create for Rayquaza, or carry substitute in the case of Arceus and Arceus-Ground to setup and take out Celesteela 1v1.
- Like other metagames, due to celesteela's bulky nature and method by which it takes out opposing pokemon, it cannot properly utilize beast boost.

Moves
========
- Protect must be used carefully as it can give free set up turns to the opponent or a boost from Moody. This belongs under usage tips
- Toxic is used to wear down the opposing team's support Pokemon as well as switch ins to Celesteela, reducing their overall longevity and pressuring them, making it easier for Celesteela's teammates to sweep.
- Substitute is used on this set in conjunction with flame charge speed boosts, which allows substitute to be set before Celesteela takes a hit. The combination of substitute and protect, along with recovery from leftovers and leech seed enables Celesteela to wear down the opponent.
- Flame Charge is used to outspeed threats such as support Arceus, calm mind Arceus, and Dusk Mane among others. It also allows Celesteela to beat Ferrothorn provided it is not leech seeded. Celesteela is still quite slow after this boost, thus many flame charges must be used to gather significant speed.

Set Details
========
- Max HP and Defense EVs are used to help Celesteela better handle Pokemon such as Marshadow, swords dance Arceus formes, swords dance Ultra Necrozma, and switching into Mega Rayquaza.
- Its special defensive is high enough naturally to handle support Arceus and other passive Pokemon uninvested, thus special defense should not be invested in.
- Alternatively, 44 special defense EVs can be used to avoid the 2hko from z-geomancy Xerneas's moonblast with leftovers and protect.
- Leftovers is the only item for Celesteela as it allows for Celesteela to recover more hp in conjunction with leech seed as well as providing recovery if leech seed misses.

Usage Tips
========
- Celesteela should be used primarily to wear down passive Pokemon such as the ubiquitous support Arceus formes which can do little to Celesteela while it can toxic them or recover hp on them.
- Celesteela should be brought in on Pokemon which it walls such as Arceus-Ground and Arceus-Fairy.
- Leech seed is the most spammable move and should be used generously to keep Celesteela's hp high throughout the match.
- Celesteela's protect can be used to scout choice locked Pokemon such as Mega Rayquaza and Yveltal.
- Toxic should be used when Celesteela's HP is high as it does not need Leech Seed recovery and can permanently hinder an opponent's Pokemon unless a cleric is present.
- Heavy slam prevents Celesteela from being completely passive and provides a way to break opposing Pokemon which have substitute or taunt. It more quickly pressures Pokemon which cannot be worn down with status such as Yveltal.
Flame Charge Cele is pretty iffy vs Refresh Darkceus, I'd again highlight its utility vs Dusk Mane since that's more important.
- Celesteela should not be left in against Pokemon with substitute which it cannot break as they are immune to leech seed and toxic.
- To avoid being trapped by Gothitelle, aggressive switching can be used.

Team Options
========
- Celesteela acts as a fantastic defensive glue on balanced teams which need to wear down opposing passive walls, thus it fits best with Pokemon seen on balanced teams rather than stall.
- Entry hazards are great for Celesteela teams, as they increase the damage to the opposing pokemon with stealth rock + toxic + leech seed damage.
- Arceus-Rock makes a great partner for Celesteela as they can wall most Rayquaza sets with their combined typings and Arceus-Rock can set stealth rock.
- Arceus-Water can check Pokemon which annoy Celesteela such as Zygarde-c, Ho-oh, and Groudon-Primal, although it must be wary of toxic.
- Ferrothorn makes a good partner for Celesteela as they form a leech seed core which wears down the opposing team and Ferrothorn can set hazards for Celesteela as well as handle Primal Kyogre.
- Zygarde is another great partner for Celesteela as it can handle Ho-oh, Groudon, and wall other Zygardes with either dragon tail or haze. It can also help spread toxic if it opts to run it.
- Setup sweepers which benefit from bulky support Pokemon worn down such as Mega Rayquaza and Ultra Necrozma appreciate Celesteela's help.
- Yveltal and Arceus-Dark are good partners for Celesteela as they can take out and pressure Gengar-Mega and Gothitelle .
- Offensive answers to Calm Mind Arceus-Steel such as Scarf Mega Rayquaza and Marshadow, as well as defensive answers such as Chansey and Ho-oh are important if Flame Charge is not used.

[Strategy Comments]
Other Options
========
- Celesteela performs its specific role of walling passive Pokemon and wearing down the opponent's team with toxic and leech seed very well, and due to this specificity, there are very few other options for it.
- Flamethrower can be used instead of heavy slam if the team Celesteela is in benefits from taking out Ferrothorn and Skarmory, which otherwise wall this set and set up spikes on Celesteela.
- Iron defense can be used to wall Dusk Mane and swords dance Ultra variants of Necrozma. However, Skarmory performs this role better and Celesteela loses out on important utility if this is run. I don't think this is worth mentioning, it's just not used and outclassed as you said
- Shed Shell can be used to mitigate Celesteela's weakness to Gothitelle and Mega Gengar. However, this is discouraged as Celesteela appreciates leftovers recovery even just to recover stealth rock damage.
- Flamethrower can be used instead of protect or heavy slam if the team Celesteela is in benefits from taking out Ferrothorn and Skarmory, which otherwise wall this set and set up spikes on Celesteela. Delete this bullet, you mentioned Flamethrower already

Checks and counters
========
**Fire Types**: Pokemon such as Primal Groudon and Ho-oh force Celesteela out due to their type advantage and are adept at avoiding being worn down. Ho-oh is not bothered too greatly by any of Celesteela's move due to Regenerator and defensive variants of Primal Groudon can carry rest.

**Zygarde**- Zygarde walls Celesteela with the majority of its sets. Defensive Zygarde is not bothered by toxic and leech seed due to rest, and offensive Zygarde can use Celesteela to set up.

**Shadow Tag**: Pokemon with Shadow Tag can trap and remove Celesteela, especially Gothitelle, as it does not fear the damage from Heavy Slam as Mega Gengar does.

**Strong Special Attackers**: Pokemon like Yveltal, Primal Kyogre, Geomancy Xerneas with thunder, choice specs Lunala, and calm mind Ultra Necrozma can take out Celesteela with their heavy hitting special attacks, due to Celesteela's uninvested special defense.

Mega Sableye should be added, bounces back Leech Seed which shuts Celest down hard and doesn't take too much from Heavy Slam

- Immunity to toxic makes it far easier to take on the support Pokemon that Celesteela beats, as they almost always carry toxic themselves. this makes it much more harder to break this.
- Due to how passive it is, though, it's able to be trapped and removed by Gothitelle, leaving the team open to being annoyed by the offensive and bulky Pokemon that Celesteela handles. since goth isnt AS common anymore, id just type 'shadow tags pokemon like taunt + wisp/disable gar and gothitelle' or something like that

Ferrothorn is immune to Leech Seed and Toxic but it must be wary of Flame Charge. Ho-Oh is not bothered by Toxic or Leech Seed thanks to Regenerator and forces Celesteela out.

**Substitute Setup Sweepers** Dragon Dance Zygarde, Swords Dance Arceus, and Swords Dance Arceus-Ground can carry Substitute, making them immune to Celesteela's Toxic and Leech Seed.

**Strong Special Attackers**: Pokemon like Yveltal, Primal Kyogre, Geomancy Xerneas with Thunder, Choice Specs Lunala, and Calm Mind Ultra Necrozma can take out Celesteela with their heavy-(AH)hitting special attacks, (RC) due to Celesteela's uninvested Special Defense.

**Sableye-Mega Mega Sableye**: This Pokemon Mega Sableye can bounce back Celesteela's Leech Seed and Toxic, which effectively shuts it down. It also does not take significant damage from Heavy Slam.

[Overview]
Celesteela is a very potent wall in AG, capable of checking common Pokemon in the metagame such as Swords Dance Ultra Necrozma, Necrozma-DM, Arceus-Fairy, Arceus-Ground, Arceus-Steel, Extreme Killer Arceus, and non-V-create Mega Rayquaza, among others. Its high viability comes from its ability to check almost all Arceus formes and Pokemon that struggle to deal significant damage to it due to its ability to easily recover HP with Leftovers and Leech Seed while simultaneously wearing down the opponent's team with Leftovers, Toxic, (AC) and Leech Seed. Furthermore, Celesteela possesses a stellar Steel / Flying typing as well as phenomenal natural bulk to go along with it. Immunity to the omnipresent Toxic makes it far easier for it to take on bulky support Pokemon that rely on being able to poisoning the foe, making Celesteela much more challenging to break. Lastly, due to Celesteela's bulky passive nature and method of removing opposing Pokemon, it cannot properly utilize take advantage of Beast Boost.

Moves
========
Leech Seed is the primary move that allows Celesteela's primary means of to maintaining its HP throughout the match. The combination of Substitute and Protect, along with recovery from Leftovers and Leech Seed, (AC) enables Celesteela to wear down the foe more efficiently. Flame Charge is used to outspeed threats such as support Arceus, Calm Mind Arceus, and Necrozma-DM among others. Provided Celesteela hasn't been afflicted with Leech Seed, Flame Charge allows it to beat Ferrothorn. Celesteela is still quite slow after this boost, thus so Flame Charge must be used multiple times in order to gather significant Speed.

Set Details
========
Maximum HP and Defense investment helps Celesteela better handle Pokemon such as Marshadow, Swords Dance Arceus formes, and Swords Dance Ultra Necrozma (RC) and switching into non-V-create Mega Rayquaza. Its Special Defense is high enough naturally to handle support Arceus and other passive Pokemon uninvested, thus so it should not be invested in. Leftovers is the only item for Celesteela, as it allows it to recover more HP in conjunction with Leech Seed, as well as providing recovery if Leech Seed misses.

Usage Tips
========
This move must be used carefully, however, as it can give free set up turns to the opponent free setup turns or a boost from Moody. Toxic should be used when Celesteela's HP is high, as it does not need Leech Seed recovery, (AC) and as it can permanently hinder an opponent's Pokemon unless a cleric is present. Heavy Slam prevents Celesteela from being completely passive and provides a way to break opposing Pokemon that have Substitute or Taunt. It also more quickly pressures Pokemon that cannot be worn down with status such as Mega Gengar. Celesteela with Flame Charge variants can take on and defeat Pokemon such as Arceus-Steel, Arceus-Poison, and Necrozma-DM, as it they can rack up Speed boosts with Flame Charge to be faster, set Leech Seed, then and use Substitute and Protect to wear down stall out the foe's PP and maintain Celesteela's HP. Celesteela heavily benefits from entry hazard support, as the opponent switches may be spammed in order try to stall out Leech Seed and Flame Charge's PP with constant switches.

========
Celesteela acts as a fantastic defensive glue on balanced teams that need to wear down opposing passive walls, thus so it fits best with Pokemon seen on balanced teams rather than stall. Entry hazard support such as Stealth Rock is great for Celesteela teams, as it increases the damage to the opposing Pokemon when combined with Toxic + Leech Seed damage. Arceus-Rock makes a great partner for Celesteela, as together they can wall most Rayquaza sets with their combined typings, (AC) and Arceus-Rock can set Stealth Rock. Arceus-Water can check Pokemon that annoy Celesteela such as Zygarde-C, Ho-Oh, and Primal Groudon, although it must be wary of Toxic. Ferrothorn makes a good partner for Celesteela, (AC) (keep comma, remove comment) as together they form a Leech Seed core that wears down the opposing team, (AC) and Ferrothorn can set entry hazards for Celesteela as well as handle Primal Kyogre. Zygarde is another great partner for Celesteela, as it can handle Ho-Oh (RC) and Groudon (RC) and wall other Zygarde with either Dragon Tail or Haze. Offensive answers such as Choice Scarf Mega Rayquaza and Marshadow to Calm Mind Arceus formes such as Arceus-Dark, Arceus-Fairy with Fire Blast, and Arceus-Rock are important if Flame Charge is not used, such as Choice Scarf Rayquaza and Marshadow, as well as defensive answers ones such as Chansey and Ho-Oh are important if Flame Charge is not used.

Other Options
========
Celesteela performs its specific role of walling passive Pokemon and wearing down the opponent's team with Toxic and Leech Seed very well, and due to this specificity, there are very few other options for it. Flamethrower can be used instead of Heavy Slam if Celesteela's team benefits from taking out Ferrothorn and Skarmory, which otherwise wall this set and set up Spikes on Celesteela for free. Shed Shell can be used to mitigate Celesteela's weakness to Gothitelle and Mega Gengar. However, this is discouraged, as Celesteela appreciates Leftovers recovery even just to recover Stealth Rock damage.

Checks and counters
========
**Fire-types**: Pokemon such as Primal Groudon and Ho-Oh force Celesteela out due to their type advantage and are adept at avoiding being worn down. (unless this applies to any pdon, but afaik it's actually super susceptible to chip, making this misleading; it's expanded on anyways) Ho-Oh is not bothered too greatly by any of Celesteela's moves due to Regenerator, and defensive variants of Primal Groudon can sometimes carry Rest.

** Pokemon Resilient to Leech Seed and Toxic**: (add colons throughout) Pokemon such as Giratina, Zygarde, Ferrothorn, Ho-Oh, and Arceus-Poison are not bothered by Toxic and Leech Seed damage. Ferrothorn is immune to Leech Seed and Toxic but it must be wary of Flame Charge. Ho-Oh is not bothered by Toxic or Leech Seed thanks to Regenerator and forces Celesteela out.
