[OVERVIEW]
While Chikorita is one of the most bulky Grass-types, it suffers from its shallow movepool and low offensive stats. It is outclassed by other Grass-types like Foongus, which has the ability Regenerator and additional an Poison typing that allows it to check Fighting- and Fairy-types. Due to Bulletproof, Chespin is another pure Grass-type option that is often a better choice than Chikorita because it can effectively check Gastly and Foongus, while also being a much less passive Pokemon overall.

Chikorita aims to heal status off of its teammates, but it struggles to do this effectively because its low Special Attack makes it very passive. Chikorita is outclassed by Spritzee as a cleric due to its more useful defensive typing and better bulk, while Foongus and Chespin simply make much better defensive Grass-types.

[OVERVIEW]
While Chikorita is one of the most bulky Grass-types, it suffers from its shallow movepool and low offensive stats. It is outclassed by other Grass-types like Foongus because of having the ability Regenerator and additional Poison-typing that allows it to pressure Fighting- and Fairy-types like Spritzee. Chikorita is also outclassed as a special attacker by Snivy because of its ability Contrary allowing it to be a dangerous sweeper. Due to Bulletproof, Chespin is often a better choice than Chikorita as it can effectively check Gastly and Foongus, while also being a much less passive Pokemon overall.

Chikorita aims to get status off its teammates and hit Steel-types like Ferroseed with Hidden Power Fire and Giga Drain hits Water-types like Corphish without being too passive. However, it struggles to do this because of its low Special Attack offensive stat. Chikorita is outclassed by Spritzee as a cleric due to a more useful defensive typing, while Foongus and Chespin simply make much better defensive Grass-types. in terms of using Aromatherapy as its typing can check Dark- and Fighting-types which means it can find an easier time of using it.

Most of what I'm suggesting is about making this a quicker read, and simply making more relevant comparisons. Snivy is not a defensive pokemon, so Chespin is a more apt choice. As you keep writing analysis you'll catch on to these small aspects quickly.

"additional Poison-typing that allows it to pressure Fighting- and Fairy-types like Spritzee." This makes it sound kind of like Spritzee is a Fighting/Fairy type, or at the very least makes it look odd that you only give a Fairy-type example. Would recommend removing the explicit Spritzee and to replace pressure with "check" in some way - while Foongus definitely hits fairies harder, it's really the fact that it can check and counter them that's important here. Clarify that Chespin is a better pure Grass-type option.

[SET]
while it doesn't actually change the raw numbers, have the EVs as 156 HP / 156 Def / 48 SpA / 76 SpD so you don't have the random 4 extra EVs in Def/SpD

[SET COMMENTS]
You can definitely combine the first two sentences, and honestly I'd suggest rephrasing to something along the lines of "Chikorita aims to remove status conditions from its teammates, but struggles to do so effectively since its low Special Attack makes it very passive." Doesn't have to be those words exactly, but I'd heavily suggest removing the "without being too passive" bit because it's kind of obvious - yes the defensive Pokemon shouldn't be "too" passive. Mention Spritzee's better bulk as well as its better typing.
