Seem familiar, anyone? Just like OU, only no Ice Punch or Crunch off of physical attack.

Lucario @ Lucarionite
Ability: Justified (Adaptability upon mega-evolution)
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 HP / 252 Spd
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Earthquake / Stone Edge / Shadow Claw / ExtremeSpeed / Poison Jab / Bullet Punch
- Earthquake / Stone Edge / Shadow Claw / ExtremeSpeed / Poison Jab / Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance
Why Shadow Claw over Shadow Ball?

But yeah, Lucario seems like an amazing mixed attacker. If we allow Kangaskhan, it could be pretty good too, although it loses prority, Crunch and Fire Punch and its physical set has no choice but to run Return, Power-Up Punch, Shadow Ball and Earthquake.

Definitely true but I'd like to point out some things about these three that make them not as hopeless as they seem. Gengar gets the elemental punches as egg moves, giving him great coverage to use will his massive Sp. Attack. On top of this, Gengar can use Dazzling Gleam, Knock Off, Dark Pulse, Giga Drain and Psychic for additional special coverage. As you said though, it's a shame that it has no reliable STAB.

Normal Garchomp is definitely nerfed, but Mega Garchomp on the other hand can continue running great mixed sets with no problem. It has Earthquake, Iron Head, Poison Jab, Shadow Claw, Brick Break and Stone Edge to use as physical moves and Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Fire Blast, Crunch and Surf for special coverage. Don't give up on Garchomp yet!

Mega Absol still has 115 Sp. Attack, so Special or mixed sets with Sucker Punch, Knock Off, Play Rough and Fire Blast can probably be looked into for it. It will probably end up being outclassed by most of the other Megas though. :(

Mega Houndoom seems to be a better option for raw power thanks to Nasty Plot, Solar Power and 140 SpA. However, Mega Absol does get better neutral coverage through Play Rough and can muscle through Tyranitar and Heatran with Superpower.

Lucario can learn Shadow Ball
I feel like this change could make up for losing crunch, just run BP/shadowball/SD/cc

Slayer95, it doesn't seem to be implemented correctly. Look at the replay...

And this calc:

252 Atk Life Orb Sheer Force burned Landorus Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 32 Def Jellicent: 155-183 (38.3 - 45.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

I just changed Earth Power's category from "special" to "physical" in the calc. I don't know if there's any other problems, the only person I have to play with doesn't like the gametype and tries to avoid helping me test -_-

And I know that's the Jellicent's EV spread because I made the team for him.

Boomburst on swellow!!!!!!!!!!
Facade had just as much power, so that not really all that important. Although it does go through subs.

Unfezant sucks. There is no reason to use it, ever. Unless you want a Flying-type (aka SR-weak) Wish passer that can use its STABS for some reason

and it can be used to hit ghosts via scrappy.
Oh, right. Non-Toxic Orb Swellow may be viable then. I still think it doesn't hit hard enough without it, but it still does have higher attack than Talonflame. Choice Band could be really good for it.

Mega-Charizard X is barely viable any more, so if you see one on the opposing team, you can easily counter it.

Since Boomburst provides a way to beat subs, it should be the main option over Facade imo.

Mega-Charizard X is barely viable any more, so if you see one on the opposing team, you can easily counter it.
Is Zard X that bad though? it may have lost the ability to power up his stabs via DD/SD, but 130 SpA is still pretty meaty. I won't say it's 'unviable', definitely usable but not very amazing.

Zard y is still somewhat viable but it lost air slash, focus blast, and any other way of beating heatran
EQ off 104 Atk still does that heatran-smashing job well. it's not like Zard y has anything else to run besides fire stab and solarbeam.

Ok I just usually run focus miss I've seen eq but I always feel that not using that giant special attack stat to its full potential is essential but eq is always a great move to hit heatran

Yeah MegaZardX is still good. It is just can't do Dragon Dance anymore (which was its main asset). One example of a set that can still be really good here is the Bulky set with Will-o-Wisp, Roost, Dragon Claw/Outrage and Flare Blitz/Fire Punch/Fire Blast. This set is basically the same as it was before except you invest your EV's and nature into Sp. Attack instead of Attack. It still gets the Tough Claws boost from Dragon Claw, Outrage, Flare Blitz, Brick Break, Fire Punch, Thunderpunch and Flame Charge. Speaking of Flame Charge, that could probably soften the blow of losing Dragon Dance. Too bad it can't raise its Sp. Attack.

Okay. I somehow forgot that Outrage/Flare Blitz still count as contact moves, and that MegaZard X's SpA is equal to his attack. Contact-making special attacks are things I'll have to get used to.
Even so, Blissey and other specail walls can deal with both sets, so Zard in general is still easier to counter.

i guess zard x can runfocus miss for blissey?
0 Atk Mega Charizard X Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 392-462 (54.9 - 64.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
That's kinda perfect, but Blissey can easily Softboil stall and hope for a miss. But if you predict the switch, you're golden 50% of the time.

Maybe X-Zard is pretty good after all...

Fixed and live. Contact me if any other issue raises.

Brick Break is 100 BP with Tough Claws and has 100% accuracy. You still hit Heatran for solid damage too.

EDIT: Did calcs
4 Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Brick Break vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 322-380 (45 - 53.2%) -- 0.4% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
108 Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Brick Break vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 350-412 (49 - 57.7%) -- 53.1% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
220 Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Brick Break vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 380-448 (53.2 - 62.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 4 Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Brick Break vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 480-566 (67.2 - 79.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
So apparently you need to run 220 EVs in order to 2HKO Blissey with Brick Break or run Dragon Dance and Brick Break. You can't OHKO Blissey at +1 even with 252 EVs unfortunately. 108 Atk EVs is the minimum for giving you a 50% chance of 2HKOing Blissey and you pretty much can't 2HKO it with 4 Atk EVs. :/ At least Charizard still has a reason to dance!

Heatran:
220 Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Brick Break vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 200-236 (51.8 - 61.1%) -- 94.9% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 4 Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Brick Break vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 252-298 (65.2 - 77.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Same story here.

This sounds really gimmicky, but do you think a Hone Claws set would be any good? Charizard has plenty of low accuracy moves to abuse like Focus Blast, Dragon Rush, Fire Blast, Overheat and Inferno. I think I'll test this out at the very least to see if it's effective and consistent enough.
