You've gone a bit slash-heavy on set. Edit it to this:

Shell Smash
########
name: Shell Smash
move 1: Shell Smash
move 2: Icicle Spear
move 3: Rock Blast
move 4: Ice Shard / Hydro Pump
ability: Skill Link
item: White Herb / Focus Sash
nature: Jolly / Naive
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe

Moves Mentions:
  • Explosion
  • Surf
  • Razor Shell
Other Options:
  • Rapid Spin + Spikes/T-Spikes
  • King's Rock, LO and Lum
  • HP Grass
THE ABBREVIATION FOR SPEED ISN'T Spd!!!

Right. The changes' reasoning:
  • Moved King's Rock, LO and Lum Berry to OO as the former is an overhyped gimmick, the latter is far too situational for Cloyster and it doesn't appreciate the LO recoil. Moved Sash from OO as it is very useful for guaranteeing setup when hazzards aren't on the field, and the only residual damage that gets around it is Sandstorm - commonly set by 1 whole pokemon - which is going to be OU at the rate its going at - as it is going to be coming in on a faint anyway.
  • Moved Explosion to moves as it is situational and, by the time you want to be sweeping with Cloyster, bulky waters should have been either crippled to a point where they're managable or KOd anyway. Left surf in there. Added Razor Shell to moves as a physical Water-type STAB.
  • I have put Rapid Spin + Spikes/T-Spikes in OO as Cloyster isn't the worst offensive spinner in the world, and it is complemented by its monstrous defense stat as both a spinner and a spiker - being a niche one with an effective STAB Ice-type CC which hits through subs and has 5 extra BP. However, its poor defensive typing and is generally outclassed as an offensive Water-type spinner by Blastoise and ShootingStarmie

A QC member told me to include Explosion, so there's no way I'm removing it. I asked on IRC and we agreed to not include Spiker/Rapid Spinner in OO. The spd thing was a typo, I'll fix that asap. I also talked about Razor Shell and it's just not good enough to get a mention. King's Rock will probably keep a slash, but I'm not sure. I'll just wait and see if QC wants me to move it. Thank you for the recommendations.

White Herb is ass, Cloyster shouldn't be sweeping when it will still be taking hits. Focus Sash is the best item, followed by probably Nevermeltice to power up your main STAB, or Life Orb for general power, although you run the risk of killing yourself midsweep. King's Rock is just a stupid haxy item that gives you less than 50% chance of flinching anyway.

I think Never-Melt Ice and Focus Sash are the best items. With Life Orb, you kill yourself way too quickly, especially with your SR weakness, Spikes vulnerability, and relatively common weaknesses. I wouldn't disregard King's Rock as an item worth mentioning though, as it allows you to potentially muscle your way through bulkier checks such as Slowbro. Nevertheless, it is inconsistent in practice and cannot be relied on, making it often a subpar choice.

Should those two be the only items slashed?

The Life Orb Boom set isn't meant to be staying around anyway, it's meant to do as much damage as possible and boom when it's job is complete so keep Life Orb and Explosion slashed since that is the best way to get through bulky waters.

Alright, will do. Any other notable changes I should make?
