Has anyone been reading Oyasumi Punpun? I found it by reading gunshow and it's really, really awesome, it's a slice of life comedy that turns into a dark coming of age story. It's still ongoing though so beware having to wait.

The main character (and family) is drawn as a simplistic chicken thing but other than that the art is incredibly well done.

I am way to tired to look for a thread out of the 100000000 pages in this, so feel free to lock this if this is already made.

Anyway, I personally love Marvel Comics (Though Disney buying Marvel kind of pissed me off) and I'm currently reading Deadpool, most of the Ultimate comics, so on and so forth. I'm not really into manga, but from what I've seen Manga is a big topic on this site. And you can notice the poll in this thread, but I just wanted to wonder which one you guys like.
 
While I'm personally not pleased with Marvel being bought out by Disney, so far it hasn't proven that bad for them. Taking a look at their more recent movie (Captain America: The First Avenger), it was reviewed pretty warmly by critics for the most part. I can't quite remember what Disney did with the movie in general (if anything, I remember seeing them in the credits and I think they orchestrated the music?), so feel free to correct me on it.

As far as comics, I have to say I like them both, but lately I only focus on two different factions (Batman or X-Men). I have to say that I've been loving Batman comics and I hope once school starts I can read more of them since the library that has them is close to my school.
 
Necrobumping this thread to say that the Runaways is a fantastic (albeit short) comic that definitely deserves a read. If a mod thinks this is unnecessary then delete this post.
