Anyway, eventually we'll reach a point where canon vs non-canon would be settled morally instead of logically, at which point you decide which one arbitrarily is a better one, just because it "feels" like it.

anyways, the rest of your post sums up my feelings. It doesnt make much sense to go on, moral isnt as straight-forward as logic, too, and you cant argue that what you feel is more important than what someone else feels just because you feel it...which is why i dropped out..but anyways, alls i know is that this debate is going to stop one way or the other: either we will stop now, or this'll go on until arceus (dont get pissed, aright fine, if arceus) is released, and i'd rather not argue for who knows how long =/

Just going to say that I love arguments telling Obi to stop complaining because it's on Shoddy not Wifi after Colin came in and said Obi's logic is perfectly sound.

Probably would have saved your time if you hadnt posted that, 'cause no one really cares. Sure, colin is the creator of competitor, but he isnt god, so i dont see how him making obi's logic "sound" (as if we didnt already know that it was) means anything..at all.

Ok, I am not re-entering the argument, just want to throw out a fact for all of you to think about. Again, not arguing, just throwing a fact out there. I'm come to accept that we all have our opinions.

According to some people on this thread, Shaymin and Darkrai are allowed due to the fact that outside stuff aren't needed for them. Non-cannon as Dragontamer stated.

But I also heard some people saying that if you die with a Ditto on a Japanese game, and it transformed, it will keep the moveset it transformed with. So would that be allowed since no outside sources are being used?

Just throwing that out there, not arguing.

In reference to the japanese ditto glitch, which renders illegal movesets (ex: belly drum aqua jet azumarrill and hypnoplot crobat) fully legal. I posted solely for clarity on the issue (we discussed this beforehand), as it does logically fit into your outlinings for a legit pokemon, which is somebody who be obtained in a cartridge without the use of a third party. It makes a pretty good counterarguement using logic (which i wont)

again, solely for clarity on the issue. In fact, dont even consider this my post, consider it the extension and explanation of yoko's. My last post is my feelings on the issue, im done debating. (however, again, it does fit your criteria for legitimacy and thus, we have no more illegal move combos, now dont we?)

ack. well, i assume he's going to have something to do with competitor is he's programming are current simulator. Also, i thought obi mentioned the new clause being in competitor, hence where i got the idea that colin had something important to do with it. (i thought we were arguing about future clauses, for reference i dont use shoddy so i dont know what clauses are currently featured on it...nor do i know who programs it, obviously.)

Also, my quoted post wasnt an obi-bash, i really think obi's logic is sound
