Ability choice largely comes down to preference, as Gale Wings Hurricane prior to and even after setting up could be big, but when HP is low Blaze could come in handy.

For example, Roaring Moon, Hydreigon [and Zwellious and Deino] are all of the Dark/Dragon types in the tier. Roaring Moon would gain access to Hydreigon's full Movepool in addition to it's own, while having the choice of Protosynthesis, Levitate or Hustle as ability options.
