Crank'n the RMT!

So this is my first post here, why not start it with a RMT? This is a team I've been working on, but I haven't tested it out yet. Most of it is pretty standard, but eh. There's a few flaws, I'm pretty sure, but any help would be nice. ;D

Lucario @ Life Orb/Focus Sash
Adamant Nature
Inner Focus
252 ATK, 252 SPEED, 6 HP
-Close Combat
-Extreme Speed
-Crunch/Stone Edge
-Swords Dance

Basic Lucario. My lead for the game, and beginning sweeper. Sword Dance if I predict a switch-out, or just head-on attack. Life Orb maybe, over Sash?

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Bold Nature
Water Absorb
188 HP, 252 DEF, 68 SP ATK
-Wish
-Toxic/Protect/Baton Pass
-Surf
-Hidden Power [Electric]

Standard Vaporeon. Wish Support, as well as Toxic for induced effects of Poison. Protect/Baton Pass for helping Wish to actually come in effect. Rest is self-explanatory.

Infernape @ Choice Scarf
Mild Nature
Blaze
50 ATK, 252 SP ATK, 208 SPEED
-Flamethrower
-Hidden Power [Ice]
-U Turn
-Close Combat

Hm, a Infernape I've been working on. This poke, is probaly my favorite, and is in my opinion, the soul of the team. 208 EV's in speed, give's it 303-304, enough to outspeed a Scarf Chomp. U Turn & Close Combat for finishing moves, or just to get out of a situation.

Claydol @ Leftovers
Relaxed Nature
Levitate
236 HP, 96 DEF, 176 SP ATk
-Stealth Rock
-Earth Power/Earthquake
-Ice Beam
-Rapid Spin

Claydol is a new addition to the team, I haven't as yet tested him out, but he's basically my main Rapid Spinner. Ice Beam can surely 1-2HKO a Mence. Earth Power is there just for the EV's of Special Attack, but Earthquake could possibly help more, as to Tyranitar problems. I'd rather keep Earth Power, as I could always switch out/in to another Poke.

Electivire @ Expert Belt
Mild Nature
Motor Drive
76 ATK, 252 SP ATK, 180 SPEED
-Thunderbolt
-Flamethrower
-Hidden Power [Ice]
-Cross Chop

Standard MixVire. SkarmBliss killer as well.
---

Snorlax @ Leftovers/Chesto/Lum Berry
Careful Nature
Thick Fat
128 HP, 44 ATK, 120 DEF, 216 SP DEF
-Curse
-Rest
-Fire Punch
-Body Slam

Curselax is pretty tight. Better than a Bliss in my opinion. Self-explanatory. Curse(s), and if at low health, Rest. Then Fire Punch/Body Slam for a clean sweep.

That's basically the team. I haven't tried out a few of the pokes, but hopefully it will do well. Electivire/Claydol I could switch out for a Metagross/Mamoswine. Whichever suits my team more.

luke is not a grear starter. He functions well as a late game sweeper.

That ape can make a great starter. Maybe give it overheat though?

instead of flamethrower, its really just a hit and run pokemon.

I mainly use Nape for late-game sweeping, as to why I keep Flamethrower. I plan not to switch out, unless it's a NVE Pokemon I'd be attacking.

In my opinion, it is, as Lucario can get up a Sword Dance if I know they would switch out, or attack head-on, giving the Attack boost with Life Orb & Beneficial Nature, should 1-2HKO any Pokes.

I completely agree with this

the beauty of sd luke is that he has so many resistances, giving him the ability to switch in on, say, cb tyranitar crunch, and then set up, needing only one turn really to set up before he starts killing stuff. when you use luke as a lead, you put the whole "resistances" advantage in the trash. Scarf ape, however, would make a great lead, and luke makes a much better sweeper lategame. ape with overheat as a lead would greatly help this team.
