I tried this annoying Frosslass a few min ago on shoddy with Ice Beam over spikes and confuse ray over swagger. My opponent quit every time after 3 of its pokemon fainted. It's great!

this set is viable because confusion, like sleep, forces switches, and during the switch you can set up spikes and confuse again. I'd also opt for blizzard over thunderwave so it cannot be taunted by crobat (especially those hypnotizing ones which run taunt alot). focus sash is another useful item because froslass doesn't take supereffective, or strong stabbed neutrat attacks well, and you can continue with your havoc.

Rioluke, people do tend to come up with the same sets for pokemon, it wouldn't be uncommon if they both discovered it. Hell, I used t-spiking tentacruel in OU back in the wifi only days, but the credit generally ends up going to the one who makes it public (in this case, that'd be obi iirc).

Theres no credit due at all since this set has been around in multiple forms since as early as RBY. I've said it mutiple times its simply parafusion.
In fact as I remember the standard set for the 'Drunksparce' was Swagger/Headbutt/Psych Up/T-Wave or Glare. Different moves but entirely the same concept. Even in RBY you'd occasionally see a Starmie with T-Wave/C-Ray/Double Team/Psychic or Surf or Ice Beam. The earliest form of the Deathstar set.
