Nuke, can't they just switch in and out infinitely until you run out of pp? You don't do enough to amoonguss to reliably take it out with an air slash and Alomamola takes less than Regen heals.

an attacking weezing can work, as it has impeccable coverage, and usage special attack:

Now some calcs:
Weezing Fire blast vs Amoonguss: 78-91%
Weezing Tbold vs Almomola: 77-91%

And just in case fire blast manages to miss a ridiculous amount of times:
43-51%, comfortably outpacing regenerator
Amoonguss sludge bomb vs weezing: 15-18%

Almomola waterfall vs Weezing: 17-20%
(all calcs from kalashnikovs calculator)

thus, weezing comfortably beats the core
turns out I missed weezing on the first pass

so, in short, neither poke can survive even psychic on a bad day, and it can afford to set up a trick room, and comfortably OHKO both of them. And if almomola tries to toxic beheeyem, it will basically kill itself with poison damage. Also, since stealth rock is assumed to be up for both sides, psychic will kill both if they try to use regenerator too much.
 
This Post has already posted essentially the same set, with sub over Thunderbolt. I'm afraid you may have to choose a different mon. (which is the thing that really sucks about this challenge. you join late, and people take all the viable mons that beat the core.) Welcome to Smogon, though!
