respectively, while being able to set up a Substitute easily. Once behind a Sub, it can either start leeching their HP away with Pain Split or just start to bombard them with Sludge Bomb. Once Alomomola gets poisoned, it's basically over. Not even a critical hit can save them, and Weezing is not affected by Toxic. The only thing that could potentially happen is them playing around Pain Split, which is pretty much impossible I think, since Weezing will be behind a Sub most of the time and both Pokemon have high HP + Regenerator.

Amoonguss and Alomomola can't do much at all to Duosion, as Duosion has fantastic bulk and an immunity to status. Duosion easily boosts with Calm Mind then defeats them both. If Amoonguss uses Clear Smog, Duosion can always beat hit it with Psychic. 4 Speed is so that Duosion can outspeed Amoonguss, which Musharna can't do without even more Speed EV's.

Explaination:

Basically, this is to be a hyper offensive way to deal with this core. Rotom-F is able to survive a switch in to any of these guys's attacks and OHKO both with the appropriate STAB move. Blizzard hits amoonguss super hard, although it's tendancy to miss is annoying. Wheras, tbolt is also more than enough to OHKO alomomola 100% of the time. Life orb gives you the offensive boost. Pain split helps if you miss blizzard alot, as rotom-f will get massive hp recovered from either of these two due to his naturally low base HP and their extremely high base HP stats. Sub is basically filler in this instance, as any of these attacks will cleanly take out the sub, except lolclear smog. Basically, rotom-f beats the core 100% easily unless blizzard misses amoonguss every time. Even then, pain split can work as a fallback for if you get down on health too quickly.
 
Rotom-F sounds nice but if you switch in on Amoonguss Sludge Bomb, and your Blizzard misses (quite likely) and you will take 2 Sludge Bombs. Not only do you have a good chance ~25% of simply getting 2HKOed, you also have a big chance of getting poisoned through 2 Sludge Bombs. (Above 50%, in fact, but I'll simplify to 50%)

The chance that you'll lose this in this given scenario: 3/10 (Probability Blizzard misses) * ( 1/4 (Probability you get 2HKOed) + 3/8 (Probability you die to Poison) ) = (3/10)*(5/8) = 3/16 = 18.75%

This doesn't take into account the fact that even if you survive, you need to Pain Split (lest you die to LO recoil) and they can Sludge Bomb some more chances of Poison etc.

So, it's the probability you'll miss Stone Edge, effectively. Not something I want to rely on.

The calcs are pretty self explanatory, Kadabra can come in safely on any move, can boost freely, and can Recover safely at any time even with a crit. And it only needs one CM to guarantee an OHKO on Amoonguss and a 2HKO on Alomomola, and three CMs to OHKO it.

What's the advantage of stall breaker Kadabra over Duosion? Well speed of course. Kadabra outspeeds the likes of Adamant Emboar, Jolly Ursaring and uninvested Misdreavus and so escapes a lot of punishment that Duosion may not like. It is bulky enough to take any attacks from walls so its bulk is actually more than good enough for this job. I guess this post doubles up as an endorsement for the viability of CM Kadabra as a genuine and overlooked alternative to CM Duosion in the stallbreaker role.

Once Heatmor is poisoned, Alomomola can simply Wish and Protect stall Giga Drain, only dying if Heatmor manages to roll 3 75%+ damages with Giga Drain. I tested it on showdown and as you can see, Heatmor loses. (Ignore the Magikarp bit at the end that is just so I could get the replay)

Damn, I wanted to contest both Heatmor and Rotom-F but I see that has been done by other people already.

Apart from that, some sets such as max Defense SubHoneClaws Skuntank seem kind of fishy to me (concerning their use outside of beating this core), but I didn't actually use them to talk enough about their viability. Okay I guess.

Self explanatory really, Substitute evades Clear Smog's effect. Drowzee can setup on both of these Pokemon bar switching in to Toxic or Sludge Bomb (assuming that I get poisoned from it). Even if Amoonguss packed Spore, Drowzee would still win thanks to Insomnia. Alomomola only has a very small chance to break Drowzee's Substitute with Waterfall. Eventually Drowzee will just setup so much that it can get past Alomomola.

Uh, the problem is exactly that though: it can't switch in on Toxic. Alomomola can just Toxic you on the switch and then stall indefinitely with Wish + Protect...

unless you get ridiculously unlucky with the tbolt roll on alomomola, you will not take more than one attack and 20% of LO recoil + SR damage (69.06% when switching into sludge bomb and taking two rounds of poison). i've toyed with timid and expert belt, but not being able to guaranteedly KO alomomola racked up the damage a bit too much for my liking, so i just went with this.

EDIT: as cbb so politely pointed out on IRC, toxic on the switch with protecting wears down gardevoir too fast for it to KO alomomola in time, so i added heal bell to prevent that. if you get toxic'd on the switch, that means you don't take damage from an attack, so you'll still be able to make it. there goes the viability of the set in general, though...

Case 1:

Switch in on Amoongus and take a Sludge Bomb and SR for 50% damage. If Sludge Bomb Poisons, Lum Berry heals it. You trade blows then you are at 87.5% and Alomomola enters. You outspeed it and OHKO. You could even rest when Alomomola comes in if you weren't poisoned by Sludge Bomb so you are better off after OHKO Alomomola or use rest on whatever comes in after the core.

Case 2:

Switch in on Alomoloma and it uses Toxic, Lum Berry is used and you are at 12.5% after SR. You outspeed and OHKO Alomomola. Amoongus comes in and can only do 37.5% by the time you 2 hit KO him with flamethrower so the core is down and Eelektross has 50% HP remaining.

The Toxic/Regenerator/Wish/Protect stuff is really tricky to plan against.

both attacking moves will only 2hko klang's subs (even without eviolite) and it's immune to poison, so you can basically come in for free and set up on either. once you hit +6 you 2hko both, and you have the ability to pp stall wishtect via prediction/rest (use a different move on the protect turns, yada yada). you can also crit. worst scenario is coming in on alom, who continually spams waterfall on you, and alom gets a crit or two, though you have the ability to boost a couple times before you need to rest again.

this set was used in rarity back in rd 0 with klinklang, although it used a chesto berry. the idea was to set up on opposing sub klinklang that were already in, and when near death to simply rest up and finish them off and complete a sweep. it's essentially the same as normal klink, but has recovery which is nice.

Evs are simple, enough bulk to get up to +6 on either easily while forcing Amoonguss to use 2 Sludge Bombs to break the sub, everything else was for attack, once it hits +6 it beats both without even trying. Sub for aiding set up, Outrage for maximum damage, DD...well it is obvious what it does, Roost to heal herself and continue dancing.

Waterfall: 37-44 (10.45 - 12.42%) -- 9HKO at best. lol
Sludge Bomb: 75-88 (21.18 - 24.85%) -- possible 6HKO.

Outrage: 466-549 (107.87 - 127.08%) -- guaranteed OHKO. Amoonguss, ignoring rocks here because they are not needed.
Outrage: 430-507 (80.52 - 94.94%) -- 50% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock. Alomomola
 
Well, Alomomola can just poison it on the switch and outstall it with a combination of Wish + Protect + Regen. By the 8th turn of said poison you'd have to Roost every turn to avoid death, which means that you can neither boost further nor attack. Altaria loses basically every time if Toxic hits.

Assuming its only against the core, and not switching into pokemon not related to the CC, telegraphed switching games can get pretty dangerous.

Example I'm posting because by pure chance a match i was just in ended up with my gardevoir(Expert Belt) up against the regen core with 2 layers of toxic spikes up, so it worked as a perfect example for your situation

It's not telegraphic switching - it's Alomomola poisoning Altaria and then spamming Wish + Protect. Regenerator only gets used in extreme cases like when a Wish isn't up and Altaria can kill you with its next move. There is no way Altaria can beat it before it dies to Toxic; you just react to its moves and make the best moves possible. There is literally zero prediction involved.

If you were talking about the Gardevoir example further up, then there's still a 50% chance for it to lose assuming it doesn't have Heal Bell (I know it was changed now but whatever). Your opponent should have sacrificed Amoonguss there and tried for a double protect with Alomomola which would have killed off your Gardevoir, guaranteed. There is also no prediction involved in that battle scenario, nor is there any telegraphic switching happening: you just make the strategically best move.

Anyway, I really don't see how that "telegraphic switching" argument is related to either Gardevoir or Altaria trying to beat the core. Amoonguss and Alomomola really don't have to do anything except for not being dumb to beat Altaria 100% of the time and Heal Bell-less Gardevoir 50% of the time. There is no prediction at all for either of them. Nor is there any danger in switching, since it's just playing 50% odds against Gardevoir (and that happens after the switch - you win every time if Gardevoir mispredicts while you have a 50% chance to win in a worst case scenario) while always beating Altaria.

Dustox doesn't take anything from either of their attacks, and is immune to Poison. Substitute blocks Clear Smog, and I can just repeat Sub / Quiver until I need to go Sub / Roost b/c I'm too low on health, etc.

0 Atk Alomomola Waterfall vs 252 HP/252 Def Dustox (+Def) : 18.83% - 22.53% (6-8 hits to KO)
This is the best they can do, but never breaks the Sub.

After setting up:

0 +6 SpAtk Dustox Bug Buzz vs 252 HP/4 SpDef Alomomola: 77.53% - 91.2% (2 hits to KO)
Too much to Wish + Protect off.

0 +6 SpAtk Dustox Bug Buzz vs 252 HP/4 SpDef Amoonguss: 61.81% - 72.92% (2 hits to KO)
Takes it a little better, but can't last last long because of the low synthesis PP.

As for its viability issues: ask Limi.... At least, I think this is a lot less setup bait than Rest-with-no-Sleep-Talk-Metang. SubRoost is still an effective strategy, especially with Toxic Spikes. The fact that T-spikes absorbers (like Amoonguss!) actually can't deal with Dustox effectively helps a lot. Talking about Tspikes, Dustox absorbs Tspikes, and helps support the team in that way. Shield Dust is incredibly helpful, and allows it to switch in on stuff like Scald and Lickilicky Body Slam. Licki's Body Slam is one of the strongest moves coming from a defensive mon, but it can't even break Dustox's Sub effectively!

At the very least, this is Dustox's best set.

Switches in. 0 SpAtk Amoonguss Sludge Bomb vs 252 HP/252 SpDef Mantine (+SpDef) : 14,67% - 17,37% (6-8 hits to KO) SR included. This is the worst attack Mantine will take lol.

4 SpAtk Mantine Air Slash vs 252 HP/4 SpDef Amoonguss: 38,19% - 45,14% (3 hits to KO) Mantine safely kills the shroom. Air Slash has more PP than Synthesis so Mantine will always win.

Against Alomomola:

Gets toxic'd, Mola protects, Mantine uses toxic, Air Slash, Rest. Etc.

4 SpAtk Mantine Air Slash vs 252 HP/4 SpDef Alomomola: 23,6% - 27,72% (4-5 hits to KO) Easily stalled out while you can just get rid of your Toxic with Rest.

In short, since Mantine can rest he resets Alomomola's only type of damage on him and can safely wait for toxic to do it's job. Against Amoonguss he can take any hit easily and just spam Air Slash. Mantine teh champion.

164 SpAtk Mantine (+SpAtk) Air Slash vs 252 HP/4 SpDef Amoonguss: 50% - 59,03% (2 hits to KO)

This set should work better than the previous one. I can't find anything wrong with it right now. :)
