Did I make a stupid mistake or did I make the right choice?

Alright, heres the deal.

I like this sweet girl. She has a pretty everything; a pretty face, pretty hair, pretty body. I talk to her every once in a while, and I look at her often in Constitution class; She also stares at me sometimes. I'm also older then her by 2 months. In my opinion, shes the perfect girl for me.

Anyways, today in constitution class, this kid that I told about her(To fix up my bad grammar and how I was about to horribly explain to you; I'll say this: I told that kid I liked Sammi, who's the girl in the above description..) told her and she and the girl sitting next to her were amazed. I watched silently; preparing for the worst... But then as we were watching a movie, the girl next to Sammi (Whos name is Jordan) passed me a note and it said "Will you go out with me?- Jordan" But then she whispered that it was actually from Sammi. Sammi heard and started laughing and blushed. I said to Jordan; "I would've said yes, but now you two are making fun of me." Jordan goes back to her seat and tells sammi that I basically said no. Sammi looked at me, and she looked as though she was about to cry. I tried avoiding looking at her.

Did I make the right choice? or did make a ridicoulous mistake?

Tay is right. Just tell her you thought she was teasing and that you'd like to buy her dinner to make up for it. Also toss in there that you've liked her for a long time and that you think she's pretty keen, but use your own words because I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that still uses the word keen.

edit: listen to hip too

Well, I called her and discussed things with her, she told me that she was serious about the note and that she liked me for a very long time. I said that I liked her a lot too, and then I asked her out.
So now, me and her are happily going out. Thanks for the help, guys!

Was this thread really needed ?_?

It was a call-her or not-call-her question.

Yeah, but he thought they were making fun of him. If I didn't get good advice to call her if I was in this situation, I never would have as that may have prolonged the mild humiliation.
