Nice. This isn't a double post. Anyways, here are my votes.
  1. Chindle line by Ema Skye
Moltres is a good check to Kartana and Magearna, but unfortunaly it isn't in the meta and even if it would be here, SR give it some trouble. Ema's Flarenix is a bulkier Moltres which is immune to Rocks thanks to Magic Guard or it can somewhat negate the damage with Regenator and many good Removal options. Sure it's weaker than Moltres, but unlike it, Flarenix has Nasty Plot and some good coverage options. I'm really excited for this one.
  2. Firmlio line by I am the Imposter
I really love this one. A Pokémon that has good offensive and defensive potential with its stats, typing and abilities. This will definetly find a place as a better Lycanroc-D, who I think has a really good place in the meta right now. Sure it's used as a lead, but it can also funtion as a midgame mon and as a late game cleaner. Really excited for this one too.
  3. Tikiholi by Magmajudis
You really made it hard to choose. I didn't want to vote for myself, since your subs are way better than mine, and I love all of your subs. Then I realised that Tikiholi had "Helping Souls", which is a really cool move. It works well with Trick Room teams, which was intended, and those teams tend to sacrifise some of their teammates in order to get an abuser in safetly. In addition Whimsicott is a good lead for this teams and it has priority Memento, which gives Tikiholi a 80 BP Stab move from the start. Like the others, really excited for this one.

1.Tikilohi
2. Panahu
3. Lipawai

I really like them all, but those are my favorites. Great job to everyone, this may be my second favorite slate yet after the UB slate

Votes are in! Here are our winners:

  1. Chindle, Chaldera and Flarenix by Ema Skye
  2. Firmlio, Irotyke and Coyotalloy by I am the Impostor
  3. Tikilohi by Magmajudis

Congrats to our winners! Personally, I'm really excited for them and I can't wait to use them.
As mentioned before, we'll have a balancing/testing slate now, which will last 96 hours. After that we're going to do the alolan form slate for the first island.

Here are a few more thing that I want to mention:
  • I highly encourage you to join our Discord Server, in order for easier feedback and constant receival of new informations. You can also ask people in the server for a match, when you want to try out a team or if you're just bored. Our mod is playable on DragonHeaven or the test server.
  • Speaking of which. We have a server for teambuilding now. Provided by the amazing duo of Petuuuhhh & Scoopapa. The server is still in beta, but those two are currently working on it. Thanks to them for this amazing christmas gift! I'll do another announcement once the winners are implemented.

That's it guys, I hope you had a great christmas and I'll wish you a great day! Stay safe and I'll see you very soon!

So i want to express my thoughts on some mons:

Banworthy mons:

:sm/kartana:
Kartana:

This thing basically has two viable checks that always work: Buzzwole and Flarenix. It's still as strong as it previously was.

:sm/magearna:
Magearna:

Never used it but got swept by it. Seems either broken or extremely good i don't know how i feel about it.

New additions:

UBs:

Snoxin:
Looks really good, has some extremely annoying sets too (it's stallbreaker set is hell even for some offensive mons)

Plubia:
Extremely versatile (can be a Choiced Attacker, a Special wall, a Set-up Sweeper, a Trapper, a Stallbreaker, and a late-game sweeper on e it's checks are removed), is mostly restricted by it's speed.

Komodond:
I don't think it's as good as the other UBs. Except in doubles. (The council forgot to announce it so:

DLCmons has a double format now, playable on DragonHeaven.)

So yeah, Komodond seems to be one of the, if not the, best mons in doubles.

Thundigeist:
Very potent attacker that can and will sweep your team if you're not careful.

Anglevolt:
Insane sweeping potential, with Dragobd Dance and Swords Dance, but also seems pretty good under Rain.

Forsnaken:
Excellent wall with a good typing and a pretty good attack stat. Also seems potent in doubles.

Kinolau forms:

:sm/tapu bulu:
Tapu Bulu-Kinolau:
This one is a great attacker on the physical side (Stone Edge hits hard, Vegetal Ambush is an excellent alternative to Wood Hammer without recoil), is really bulky with an Assault Vest (since it's SpD is also boosted by the Sandstorm) and can overall fit in a lot of teams.

:sm/tapu lele:
Tapu Lele-Kinolau:
Is a good physical wall, but don't try to run an offensive set it's outclassed by normal Tapu Lele in that domain.

:sm/tapu koko:
Tapu Koko-Kinolau:
Works great as a physical attacker, that is a great punish to some mons like Plubia or Xurkitree which likes puting the opponent to sleep.

:sm/tapu fini:
Tapu Fini-Kinolau:
This thing is incredibly good under Rain, and is by itself half why i consider the meta a weather war right now. It hits extremely hard (even unboosted) with Fin Blade, and is extremely fast. It's definitly one of the best mons in the tier currently.

New additions (the last ones we did):
I have no idea how they are because we can't test them yet, but i jut want to say that Tikilohi is entirely designer around Trick Room. It's signature attack basically is perfect in those teams: Trick Room teams are usually extremely offensive and Pokemons die quickly, Whimsicott with priority Memento is often seen, and so on. Deaths are common, which makes Tikilohi's STAB even stronger.

Other Pokemons I want to talk about:
Xurkitree is really good but lacks coverage and relies on luck, and Buzzwole+Chansey are still excellent walls.

Snoxin(1).jpg
Snoxin-2.png(1).png
New Piskel-1.png(3).png

Finally, I'd say the meta is really interesting (except if you dislike weather wars because between Tapu Fini Kinolau and Tapu Bulu-Kinolau it's really good currently).. Sorry for writing an essay like that haha !
Also ban Kart pls

Does this mod just include strictly 'Alola Dex', or does it also include the additional Pokemon found in Alola (like island scan mons)?

Time for a new slate, people!

This time we're going to do something like the DLCs for Sword and Shield: Reintroduce old Pokémons!
The format for this mod is "Alola Friendly", which basically only has mons in the Alola Dex.
In this slate you can submit old Pokémons that aren't in the Dex yet.

Here are the rules:
  1. You can submit up to 8 Evolutionary lines
  2. You are restricted to 1 Legendary
  3. The Pokémons have to fit the volcano island
Here is the Alola Dex for reference. 10 Evolutionary lines can win this submission. You have a week time!

Reasoning: Pretty easy to explain, the "Eruption Pokémon" does fit the volcano island best out of all Pokémon. (well, same thing for Typhlosion and Heatran)
I mean it makes so much sense. It could easily live in the rift zone areas of the volcanic landscape.

Reasoning: This one is a bit of a stretch. I included many sea mons, because (suprise) it makes sense and they should've been in the Alola dex already. Seahorses, Crabs and Fish make sense, but a Gator is really outragous. But it's part of the starter trio, so it has a reason to stay. Maybe.
Plus, they can even be found with the island scan. Though many starters can be found by this, I wanted to give the Jotho starter more attention.

Well, Shaymin isn't like the other mythicals like Mew, Celebi and Jirachi, since it has a different form. Plus Manaphy is the 100 base stat mythical of Sinnoh.

Since there are only 11 submissions, I'll gonna vote which mon I do not want to be added.

:ss/heatran:
I love Heatran, easily one of my Top 5 mons. However I don't want it to come back, for one reason: It would be the ultimate viability killer.
Okay maybe not "Killer", but it reduces the viability of many mons easily. Sure it checks Magearna & Kartana, but it reduces the viability of things like Celesteela, Clef, Pex, Mawile-M, Volcarona and some of our UBs. I subbed in Camerupt as a Mini-Heatran. It checks Magearna and the rest pretty well and top of that it boosts the viability of TR teams, since there's a new Mega aside from Megabro. Besides that, I wouldn't overload the meta with mons that check or counter Magearna and Kartana. We haven't playtested Flarenix yet and it seems as a great check, a solid counter even.
Don't get me wrong, Heatran would probably still be a great addition, but I don't want it to throw everything away, that we know about the meta.
It would be easily S- tier in the VR

As a reference here is the S and A tiers from the VR and the mons that it checks
1610001828508.png

1610001894299.png

Here is the ranking of the other mons (You don't have to do it that way)
  1. Numel Line
At first this was the only one who I picked because of its competetive use. Camerupt-M was really useful in early SM in order to check Magearna and abuse the terrain from the Tapus. With a more limited pool of mons and the dominence of Magearna, Camerupt will definetely find some use.
It would be B tier in the VR
  2. Drilbur line
Sand needs it's best abuser and the Metagame could use another form of Hazard removal. Drill would be one of two spinners in OU (the other being Snoxin). This would also allow mons like Scizor-M, Koko (both forms) and Fini (both forms) to not run Defog and be more Utility or offensive oriented.
It would be A+ tier in the VR
  3. Volcanion
Volcanion would be such a cool addition. It's a great check and a great abuser of Sun and Rain. Although you don't need to check Sun, because it isn't that viable. When it and Drill win, then it can also work well on Sand Teams as a Rain check and with a Sand Weather Ball, which is nice. Also it can provide Defog with its Defensive set.
It would be A- tier in the VR
  4. Shaymin
The only defensive Grass that we have is Bulu and there is a problem with that. Those are great mons, but you have to either run Grassy Terrain on your team or Sandstorm, if you want a defensive grass. Shaymin gives us a great addition, both defensively and offensively. It can run SubSeed, Specially Offensive, Physical Offensive, Scarf with Team Support or defensive sets.
It would be B- tier in the VR
  5. Totodile line
Feraligatr has a lot of trouble in the meta since Electric types are everywhere, but once it gets a oppunity to set-up Dragon Dance, it can break holes into the opponents team. With Sheer Force boosted attacks and no LO recoil (for the most part) it can be a great breaker on Screen Offense teams or on Rain teams (As if they haven't got many abusers already)
It would be C+ tier in the VR
  6. Cyndaquil line
Sun teams can literally use anything. Besides that Specs Eruption is a dangerous move and it has potential to be boosted by Flash Fire. It still struggles with many mons and it would probably won't be used much, but it still blows many mons away and it's absolutely worth using, in my opinion.
It would be C- tier in the VR
  7. Krabby line
This would be outclassed by Feraligatr, but it would still have a niche on Rain or just Balance teams. As a sheer force Water-type with 130 base attack and SD, it can easily break any hole in a team. This is basically what seperates it from Feraligatr, the immediate power that it has and a better way to boost it. (I mean you could use SD on Gatr, but you would want to use DD)
It would be C- tier in the VR
  8. Chikorita line
Entirely outclassed by Bulu (both forms) and Shaymin (if it comes through). Bulu is one thing and as I said in my Shaymin Explanation, you maybe want to run any other Terrain or Weather. Well then you use Shaymin as your Grass. I legimently think that Meganium can potentially have a niche, but Shayming throws that idea completely away. Maybe when we have UU at some point in the future.
It would be D tier in the VR
  9. Qwilfish
Suprise it's our little ugly fish. I just subbed in most mons for fun and I didn't really care for the Metagame. However when thinking about it, it made more sense to add mons that have a impact on the Meta. It still can be used as a Lead, since it has Spikes and T-Spikes, but There are better setters.
It would be C- tier in the VR
  10. Horsea line
A rain abuser that we honestly don't need. There are better mons to use on a rain team like Koko (both forms), Primarina, Crawdaunt and many more. Oh, and don't forget that it is completely outclassed by Fini-K. It has better typing, Set-up moves and isn't walled by Chansey. Fini-K struggles against Bulky waters, which Kingdra can beat with Draco. Right? Well, since there is no Swampert-M, You can run GyaradosM or Aerodactyl-M to support Fini-K or use an actual Dragon type in Garchomp, which beats Pex and has SR. There would be no reason to use Kingdra.
It would be C+ tier in the VR

Last but not least, I've made a Viability Ranking and a Role Compendium. I'll release them with the beginning of the new slate, incase somethings need adjustment.

I'm also going to say which mon i do not want to be added:
:swsh/Kingdra:
This may be a bit surprising, but i really think the meta would not beneficiate much from adding a great Rain abuser when it already has so much good mons. It also would risk to compete with Fini-K, which i personally think is more interesting. I'll also provide a proper ranking later on

I don't want Heatran to be added. The whole point of this meta is to shake things up a bit. If we add it, everybody's going to be using it, and it'll be one step closer to being Gen 7 OU again. I like the idea of removing mons so those less used mons get a chance to shine.

Heatran being added is actually pretty beneficial. If anything it promotes diversity in building, since it compresses so much roles within itself, allowing for teammates to do other wild shit.

Okay I don't necessarily agree that we need it but kakaks is ending the tiebreaker so we'll post the loser in a sec

Sooooooooo,
as I promised, you get something from me and the council.
Here are the Viability Ranking, Role Compendium and some Sample Teams!
kakaks it would be nice of you if you could link them in your first post.

Other than that the new mon Flarenix, Coyotalloy and Tikilohi are implemented! You can play with them on DH or the test client.
There are still some adjustments that need to be made, but Hematite did a great job and we are truly thankful for that!

Last person to be tagged here is Ema Skye. We came to the conclusion that Flarenix is way too powerful. I DMed you and provided our suggestions. We won't change anything without your permission, but we'll do it if we can't get an answer. You have time until the closure of this current slate.

That's all folks, have a nice day and stay safe!
Cya!
