Pet Mod Do Not Use: The Pet Mod: The Musical - Slate 2 (Results)

Winners! We had a 3-way tie for third, I'll bow out my own Nidoran sub in that decision, so four winners this slate.
:sv/dewpider:
Name: Dewpider
Ability Change: Water Bubble // Water Absorb (Water Bubble: User takes 0.5x damage from Fire-type moves and is immune to Burn.)
Stat Changes: +5 Att, SpA
Movepool Changes: +Silk Trap, Toxic Thread
Description: Water Bubble is no longer broken, nerfing its power level drastically. To help out its defensive capabilities, it gains Silk Trap and Toxic Thread as some niche additions to help out a bit.

Competitive Role: Weather and terrain infamously have to all be set manually in DNU. While last slate, Snom was added as a Snow Warning user to give us our first weather setter, when trying to come up with a new idea for Flittle, I came up with the idea to set Psychic Terrain. There are actually come potentially decent abusers of Psychic Terrain, such as Weak Armor Roggenrola combined with Expanding Force Hatenna. There's also Unburden Nickit if you really wanted to try something crazy. I do think the Expanding Force Psychic-types could be a threat, but it's something I'm open to trying considering the addition of a new Dark-type in Seedot last slate plus the addition of Steel-types in Meowth-Galar (added via last slate) and the impending addition of Beldum (via being unbanned in main DNU).

Flittle's special attack was nuked to prevent it from doing Specs Lele stuff and making it more of a dedicated support Pokemon. The Flying typing was added to help differentiate it more from the tier's other Psychic-types and add a helpful secondary STAB if you wanted to try Choiced sets still, while also making running Terrain Extender inherently more risky with your new Stealth Rock weakness.

Competitive Role: Respectable stats, consolidates a bit of everything (Status, hazard removal, recovery access, setup sweeper, etc) along with speccable immunity to whatever specific status you find most bothersome, but has a pre-Tera Regieleki-esque movepool weakness in its ability to handle Ghosts, Rocks, & Steels, which most teams will have at least one of. Circumventing this weakness partially requires investment in both an item and moveslot to allow Judgement / Multi-Attack (or something more niche like Odor Sleuth), and not all can be dealt with at once, so pick wisely if you use them!
Flavor / Description: Versatility With Limitation is name of the game here.

Competitive Role: Baby Iron Treads! A medium bulk specially oriented ground/steel with good speed, pivoting, and plenty of hazard control. Just kinda gutted the mons firepower overall and turned it into more of a utility steel.
