Do you eat healthy?

I always wondered, do smogoners eat healthy?
I don't, and yet im really skinny. i guess i have an extremely high metabolism.
i eat fast food nearly everyday, and i get the fattiest things, but i never gain weight. oh, and if the amount i eat is objective to that, i eat as much as a fat person.

Story of my life

Yes, I eat healthy. I don't want to die when I'm 40. I always get my fruits and veggies, etc and try not to OD on meat like most people. I guess you can say im muscular, I look a decent build for my height, and a 8% body fat to boot.

Sort-of. Since I still live at my parent's, and they always make different kinds of meals, I'd say I have a pretty balanced diet. I also make an extra effort to eat fruit and milk.

I always try and eat healthy. I'm the normal weight for my age and height. I also do a lot of exercise, so that helps me to keep my body in shape.

My diet is pretty balanced and I avoid fast food/overly processed food but I do eat too much chocolate/cake etc. At the moment my metabolism can deal with the extra calories so it's not a problem.

I used to eat TERRIBLY. Ever since I got in with a fitness instructor last month, I've eaten super healthy and have lost a ton of fat while gaining tons of muscle. I had always worked out and been in decent shape, but this new eating/workout regimen is paying huge dividends for me.

Each meal has protein (usually chicken or turkey), complex carbohydrates (brown rice and oatmeal are the two I spring for) and vegetables (I have fallen in love with steamed broccoli and cauliflower). I eat at least 4 times a day, 4 pieces of fruit, a protein shake... yeah, it's serious stuff.

Oh boy, I know way to much about this stuff >___________>

That's because eating fat doesn't necessarily make you fat. If it did the Atkins diet would have never caught on (though obviously that didn't work for everyone, as is the case with all diets; people have different dietary needs after all.)

More or less.

I could probably eat healthier but I buy supplements to make up for it.
Supplements are a supplement to a healthy diet, they can't make up for a bad one ;) (not that I'm saying your diet is bad, I'm just ranting :P)

But as for myself I try and limit my diet to meat, veggies, and fruit (and brown rice sometimes). Really it's about eating unprocessed foods, as they have by and large the most nutritional content. My metabolism is apparently pretty average and as such I usually need to eat meat and veggies in pretty even amounts. I just listen to by body and eat accordingly. My twin (fraternal) brother on the other hand is like DiamondDust and magicalmaster2001 in that he likes to eat very heavy, meaty meals. He never gains any weight from it either.

I eat pretty much snacks, candy and cookies but I make that up by eating good food otherwise, like wholemeal bread instead of wheat flour :) When it comes to food I prefer food that taste fresh rather than fat..Oh, and I'm probably underweight, I always had hard to gain weight =/

Not really, but much more than I used to; maybe two-three slices of toast a day. Sometimes I'll eat a meal, though probably not more than twice/three times a week.

To be honest, not really. I probably eat fast food a lot, maybe too much, but that's usually because I have friends over and we get hungry at night, then can't be bothered to try and cook something so late.

I try to have some healthy meals though, I'll eat fruit whenever we have some in, veg with Sunday lunch etc. Salads sometimes, but I'll always have dressing as well, maybe some meat.

I try to eat more and more to gain weight though, as I do eat a lot, but never seem to gain weight either, I have a really, really hight metabolism and I doubt I'll ever gain much weight. My grandad and mother were both very skinny their whole lives and I seem to have inherited that.

However, I still try hard, eating a lot and I still do exercise quite a lot.

I don't drink or smoke, I count my daily vitamin intake, I only eat organic unless its the burrito or Thai place down the street, I don't eat anything with cholesterol, I never buy candy (but I'll eat it if its free), I don't consume any animal products including dairy, it's a struggle for me to get my daily fat intake, and I go to the gym and run 3 miles and bike 10 every other day.

I'd say I eat healthy and I'm a total racist toward fat people. I don't understand how anyone could ever mis treat there own body. It insults me.

For the most part, yes, I do have a very healthy diet. My mom cooks traditional Chinese food everyday (not that greasy shit that you find in most Americanized Chinese chain restaurants). She also frequently cooks seafood instead of beef. When I'm away from home at college, I eat pretty healthy too, but I think that's mainly because I don't particularly like fast foods (i.e., pizza, burgers, etc.) all that much and consider them an occasional indulgence more than anything else. I also tend to stay away from soda, having only two cans or less per month.
Where I fail, though, is my sweet tooth and tendency to not eat fruit unless it's put right in front of me. I love sweets- chocolate, ice cream, and pastries, in particular- and could not imagine life without them. And it's not that I don't like fruit- I'm just rather indifferent to it. I almost NEVER exercise.
But in the end, my metabolism wins, and I'm still the token thin Asian girl with a rabid appetite.

A eat fast food every once in awhile, though not that much. I don't really have big meals everyday. Usually a bunch of snacks every hour or so. I mainly eat fruits, but I eat some junk, too.

Try Toffutie Ice Cream. Less fat and sugar than ice cream and I have yet to meet a person who can tell its not really ice cream.

How much Tuna do you eat? I forget who did the study but it was some huge ass Aquaculture Co, and they said to really watch your Tuna income. Tuna = Mercury.

Oh no no. MY family rarely eats tuna unless we're having sashimi that night. We have lots of various fishes... usually salmon, but also grouper, butter fish, mahimahi, etc. Fish aside, we also have squid and shrimp fairly often.

You should try Tilapia. They eat algae instead of fish pleats while in fish farms. In order to breed Salmon in a Fish Farm, you need to feed it 7 lb of fish to produce 1 lb of salmon. Huge huge waist. Tilapia is the way to go if you insist on eating an animal.

Yup, tilapia's one of them. Another I should add is that my mom pretty much just buys whatever fish is available the day she goes to the Asian grocery store... which is nearly everything and anything.

I can't really say I do, I go out with family and friends alot, which means we eat like in restaurants, maybe catch a drink in the mall with my friends, but when I'm at home, I mostly eat home cooked meals, since I don't like the Ramen Noodle shit, pretty much it costs alot to make me eat anything, so you can say I eat alot of healty things at home, since I just got a workout machine about a month ago , I've been starting to eat more healthy.

Well if every one ate more Tilapia (or just gave up fish) for a little bit it would drastically help the population or our struggling seas.
