I have a 2 yr old beagle named Butch,who used to bark all night and run all day and pull trash everywhere.Recently,we got a new puppy,and now,he never barks,he never pulls out trash,and he's afraid that everytime someone trys to touch him that he is going to be hit.I have never hit him though so I'm not sure why he does this.If you can help me get him to be more assertive then please,help me out.Thanks in advance
 
If the puppy acts that way then it probably was abused before you got him. Give the puppy some love and attention and he'll slowly change his ways.
