Double Alias Mafia - Game Over! The Core wins!

I still blame myself, mainly for assuming that some things were already done before I got info. Like if Lesm's real hook flavour was proven or that the cleaned people or the mail man were told about the inspection results. Oh yeah and telling dak to save shade, biggest mistake.

Though I'm reall disappointed at the last day. I hoped at least Agape remembered the reason he was lynched for, as in that the village hooker being redirected to him and getting a wrong flavour...

Though I don't get one thing, when I got Jimbo to target Bass(through twash) he framed him of being Obama, why?

It was an interesting game though(I hate insulting people...) would play again and make sure I do everything even if it has been done before.
 
Fantastic game, probably my favourite mafia so far on Smogon - well designed (although a bit geared towards the village i.m.o.) and both interesting/hilarious to play.

THE CORE!
 
Good game! Even though I didn't put as much effort as I could have, I still had a lot of fun.

Highlights for me were:

1. Killing Gmax right away, while also having an alias converting role. Revenge couldn't be sweeter, as my postgame summary stated.

2. Helping Jimbo make his fake role pm. In the fake claims thread on our private forum, we kept posting revised versions. Eventually, there were about 10 replies with essentially the same PM, and then I made my contribution: "You are Monstro. You win if you don't suffer from indigestion."

3. After I yelled SECTUMSEMPRA in this thread...

Thank you very much, Mekkah and Exarius ^_^ I already praised the game on IRC so yeah. I had fun overall except it was very confusing and I spent the whole game in a state of confusion. gg guys!

Call me a traitor but I'm not sorry the Core won because frankly they deserve it.
 
Cool game guys, I'd be lying if I said I didn't fuck up, but whatever! It was very much a learning experience for me as it's the first time I've been heavily involved.
 
I REALLY wish the Core didn't know I had two aliases/kills, this would have been so much easier. I planned on killing one user for both sides for awhile until an opportunity to win came up.

I was planning to stab the Core soon obviously, and I idled my 2nd kill to make it look like one of them left with Monopoly Air (Mekkah said it would stay but with different flavor, but if there are still 4 kills you guys would still have figured it out). However, I had assumed there was only 1 mafia left, on both smogon and the anon forum (I thought Athens was a mafia and Bass, and Outlaw was Paris). When it got close, I would surprise everyone with my 2nd kill and get Outlaw/Athens, who I thought were 2 different people and the last mafias but apparently would just eliminate a villager. Kinda glad that one didn't happen lol. I thought the last 3 villagers I didn't know were Jimbo, lesm46, and zerowing, with some combination of Luxury Tax/Jail/Monopoly Rail. I found out a bunch the last few days with my inspection copy, until you guys decided to inspect Exarius and rob me of my valuable info :(

And of course I assumed Outlaw was the one I was cleaning with the whole Cape Town thing. I knew what was going on pretty much as soon as you guys asked me about that, but I went along with it because it would hopefully keep my alias alive. If some villager PMed Cape Town asking for a claim I would have been pretty much out of luck.

Also I wish you guys had tried to stealth lynch to keep me alive. Obviously I didn't believe "oh he wasn't here this sucks for us too :(" since you couldn't have wanted me to be alive but I knew I had no chance with only one alias left. I could have killed one of you out of revenge or whatever but since I thought there were less of you still alive that would have just given the win to the village and imo you guys deserved it more anyway. I kinda think the mafia was a little overpowered, but maybe that's just me.

Haven't you noticed, mekkah, that ever since Zelda Mafia i seem to become worse and worse with each passing mafia... (Dying N1 in 3 games in a row didn't help)

No we actually wanted to help you out but Bass wasn't here. Well in fact we didn't all agree on this, Lesm wanted you to be lynched and I thought if we lost one of your kills we could say goodbye to the smogon win (that was before we learnt that the terrorists would die after D7); and I also thought saving you would make it less likely that you'd backstab us.
But you played very well, you really had the game in your hands in the last 2/3 nights. Had you had more info you would have won I think.

(...also, no the mafia wasn't overpowered...)
 
I enjoyed this game even though I had a sub par role, the concept is fun and the new ideas were plain glom.

Though it would have been nice to answer the food quiz with "Lynched Accent in mole sauce" >_>
