Level 51 and Team *REDACTED* wins this week, congratulations! The team and description, though not that ungodly title, will be added to the Hall of Fame. Next up...

Naganadel joins many other OU-banned Pokemon that are... somewhat mediocre in Doubles. A great Special Attack stat, solid Speed tier that allows it to outpace Mega Salamence, and great ability in Beast Boost are just enough to help Naganadel join other Dragon-types despite the control that island guardians have over the metagame. With a secondary Poison typing and crucial coverage in Fire Blast, Naganadel is able to push through Fairy- and Steel-types that would otherwise stand in the way of Dragon-type attackers. However, that's about where the positives stop. Naganadel's bulk, though not abysmal, is wholly unimpressive. Though it also has access to Tailwind, such sets are almost always outclassed by Tailwind Mega Salamence, leaving Naganadel to be mostly one-dimensional. How does it fit best onto teams? That's for you to decide! Naganadel is a fairly recent addition to the Viability Rankings and the metagame, so it's possible that there are some unexplored aspects there.

Submissions close Friday, January 12th at 11:59pm EST!

Scarf naga is really cool surprise set. It outspeeds and ko's many threats like +1 mence, kingdra under rain, sand exca, tapu koko, and scarf lele. U-turn also generates nice momentum. I added mence because it really appreciates all of those things being gone and can provide intimidate support and tailwind. Volcanion and ferrothorn both help to check rain and opposing steal types. Ferro also hits fairies like diancie, tapu koko, and tapu fini hard which would be otherwise difficult for the team to break through. Hoopa gives the team an alternate form of speed control, helps vs. the now less popular psyspam and does hoopa stuff. Sudowoodo is crazy strong and it out damages both the choice band and rockium z sets of the unmon tyranitar. Reckless headsmash is :sogood:

-1 252+ Atk Choice Band Sudowoodo Head Smash vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Landorus-Therian: 243-286 (63.7 - 75%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

-1 252+ Atk Choice Band Sudowoodo Head Smash vs. 232 HP / 40 Def Celesteela: 210-247 (53.4 - 62.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

-1 252+ Atk Choice Band Sudowoodo Head Smash vs. 252 HP / 128+ Def Tapu Fini: 162-192 (47 - 55.8%) -- 76.2% chance to 2HKO

252 SpA Naganadel Fire Blast vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Excadrill: 336-396 (92.8 - 109.3%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO

Edit: Idk what n10 is talking about. The lyrics to the 2016 cypher clearly state that sudowoodo is in the cut. Nicks changed accordingly

This team is based on the power of naganadel since it has excellent offensive statistics that will allow us to control the domain of the fairies in the metagame such as Fini, Koko, Lele, Bulu, etc. Supported by Aegi and Mega Gyarados that is also a very good wallbreaker, allowing full coverage, aegislash gives support to both the offensive and defensive part of the team and without leaving behind zapdos supports naganadel and lele with its speed control helps to overcome lele scarf and tapu koko giving opportunity to this incredible wallbreaker.
Again The Tapu Slayer

I had to delete the previous post because I had something wrong and didn't let me correct it :)

Congratulations to n10sit for winning the week! His team and description will be added to the Hall of Fame. Next up...

Deoxys-A has proven itself to be even more powerful in Gen 7, with Z-Moves and Tapu Lele giving it extra tools to power through anything that opposes it. This only escalated to the point that it was the subject of a fairly close suspect test. The ubiquity of Steel-types, Mega Metagross, and Stealth Rock and the metagame trending more Specially Defensive leaves enough counterplay that the majority of voters believed it deserved to stay. Deoxys-A's relative unpredictability with viable Z-Crystal, Focus Sash, and Life Orb sets and varied coverage moves as well as Substitute and Stealth Rock allows it to patch up offensive holes in many teams.

Deadline for submissions is Saturday, January 19th at 11:59pm EST!

How did I forget Deo-A lmao

Overview
My goal here was to build a fast, frail offensive team that didn't completely buckle under Trick Room. Necrozma uses Electric Seed in tandem with Calm Mind to form a bulky standoff wincon that also hits respectably hard and helps clear opposing Steel-types. Ferrothorn and Torkoal form a bulky backbone that punishes most Trick Room teams for trying to set it.

Salamence
This is just standard mixed-attacking Salamence with Fire Blast > Hyper Voice. Fire Blast OHKOs Mega Metagross if you set sun with Torkoal, and it essentially becomes a "fake STAB" for Salamence.

Tapu Koko
Basic stuff.

Necrozma
I wrote a pretty lengthy post recently that explains how EVs for Electric Seed Necrozma work, so if you want to know more about those read here.
That said, the basic idea here is to use an Electric Seed, in tandem with Calm Mind, to become a bulky juggernaut that fires off strong attacks and recover as needed. Under sunlight, Necrozma can recover 75% of its health using Moonlight, and again Heat Wave becomes like a "fake STAB."

Deoxys-A
Psychium-Z is the wave, so I just used that. Electrium is probably ok here too if you want to use that instead. Don't bother with Focus Sash though; a good opponent's going to see the Salamence and Torkoal and set Stealth Rock on you anyway.

Ferrothorn
Obligatory Rain check and defensive backbone. I went with Toxic > Leech Seed to punish Snorlax and other bulky stuff. Knock Off works here too.

Torkoal
Secondary rain / weather check, as well as a Trick Room check. Torkoal can live a Stakataka Stone Edge and retaliate with Earth Power, and also speed tie Camerupt to try to get an EP off on it as well. It's not the sturdiest Camerupt check, but Camerupt can't OHKO Ferrothorn, Torkoal and Necrozma in one move so you should always have at least something to hit it with.

Deo-A hits stuff hard. Tapu Lele does lele stuff, hits hard too and sets up the terrain. Evs let it always 2hko av kyub. Manec is :sogood: and one of the only megas that has a good matchup vs. metagross which is usually big problem for deo+lele. Genesect is fast and forms a really nice volt turn core with manectric and lando which lets you cycle intimidate and win the terrain war. Togekiss sets up tailwind and helps sponge hits. Lando is standard. Rain checks are for chumps, just lead deo and kill kingdra/swampert. Togekiss lives gengar sludge bomb, always getting a berry proc and with lele help stop tr from staying up. Between intimidate and encore snorlax is almost never gonna be able to do anything. Team is Swift zoom zoom.
