This is a team me and Yoda built quite a while ago. Its actually built around Serp but it has both mons so whatever. We decided to build around Serp right after the Skymin ban iirc, to see how it worked in the meta. We wanted a mega that checked Talonflame and other fire types(but mostly Talon) so we brought in Mega Diancie. Next we wanted some priority and a sun check, so enter Talon. Next we realized we were TR weak, so we throw on life orb bisharp to help with that and scarf Lando-T, who was a threat. I can't remember the exact reason we added Keldeo atm, but since it is just a good mon in general I'm not going to question it, and as a plus it completes a f/w/g core so thats always good! For our final slot, we wanted speed control, and we were still looking weak to lando so wide guard looked nice. So we looked to see what mons got both, and Aero popped out. It is all intents and purposes it is just support and glue for this very hyper offensive team, but it actually works quite well! Thanks for reading! n_n
This team is built around tailwind. Talonflame is a great tailwind setter, with priority tailwind. Tailwind is good for Bisharp so that Bisharp doesn't have to rely on the hit-and-miss Sucker Punch (Knock off also has more BP on the first hit, which is usually all Bisharp needs). Adamant Kangaskhan-Mega just completely wrecks in tailwind, especially after it has gotten a Power-Up punch in. Hoopa-U is a great addition to Tailwind, as it prevents players from trying to stall out Tailwind. The EVs outspeed max speed base 70s, and OHKOs Aegislash with a large chance to OHKO Amoonguss. Amoonguss is to help out against Trickroom and also allows more counterplay if TW isn't up or the opponent has priority. Suicune is a secondary TW setter, and is also provides support against Special attackers with Snarl. The EVs allow it to OHKO 44 HP Landorus-T with Ice Beam, and the 24 Speed EVs allow it to outspeed Scarf Adamant Landorus-T under Tailwind.
So i just kinda threw this together for shits and giggles. I started with talon+bisharp, then added mega gallade because it's good with bish and there were already two mega gardevoir teams. Between mega gallade and talon, i had a lot of coverage for grasses (read: amoonguss and ferro) so I added offensive thundy and suicune, which moderately dislike grasses. I thought about going with a rain core here instead but decided against it cuz it made me a little too zard y weak for my liking. Next I added aegis for extra tr coverage and coverage for diancie, which is annoying.

This is an adaptation of a VGC '15 team. The original team was: Mawile, Suicune, Talonflame, Hydregion, Terrakion, and Raichu. This team actually works hella better in DOU than in VGC.
I started with Diancie and Suicune. The premise is that Suicune can kill Landorus for Diancie and Diancie can kill Charizard for Suicune. I added Virizion to scare off Rain, Kangaskhan, and Steel types not named Aegislash. I added Bisharp for Steel and Dark coverage since Hydregion's Dragon coverage was unnecessary. At this point the team was pretty weak to Diancie and needed something to help with Ludicolo, so I added Steel Wing Talonflame. Lastly I added Raichu who glues the team together very well. He provides invaluable Fake Out support and Electric-type redirection.
The team must be played aggressively. You want to overwhelm your opponent with powerful blows and force them into uncomfortable situations. Leads are essential for success, as the team has few switch-ins to powerful attacks. You should usually lead Raichu + anything or Suicune + Diancie. One of my personal favorite leads is Raichu + Suicune. The two really annoy THALK, as your opponent won't be able to hit Suicune with Electric attacks and Kangaskhan can't Fake Out (for fear of an Encore). Heatran won't want to take a Hydro Pump and Landorus won't want to take a Ice Beam. Rain is a scary match-up, but if you keep hitting them with strong priority moves (i.e. Bisharp's Sucker Punch and Talonflame's Brave Bird), you'll come out the victor. The worst match-up is against semi-room. You should lead Raichu + Virizion to make sure your opponent is unable to set Trick Room.
If your a basic bitch you can use LO Bisharp, but then you can't OHKO Landorus at +1 and can't OHKO (?) Cresselia. You can run Life Orb over Sash on Virizion, but I prefer Sash for more longevity. HP Ice is cute on Raichu, but in my experience it hasn't come in handy nearly enough to consider replacing Protect with it.
EVs:
Standard Mixed Attacker Diancie
Standard Bulky Tailwind Suicune
Standard Virizion
Standard Bisharp
Talonflame outspeeds 252+ base 110's by 2 points (hits "the bump") and OHKOs 4 HP Mega Metagross w/ Overheat. The rest is dumped into Attack
Standard Raichu
Talonflame: I'm using talonflame to set tailwind as this team really likes speed control. I use overheat > flare blitz because i think it's generally better for hitting Aegislash and Ferrothorn. The rest of the set is standard.
Bisharp: My bisharp outspeeds Landorus-Therian in tailwind, and the rest into HP. It's Life orb for power. The rest is standard.
Rotom-Wash: The bisharp/talon core is weak to a few things, namely other Talonflames, Kangaskhan, and Landorus-Therian. Rotom-Wash is a good mon for these 3, as it can burn Kang and beat the other two.
Mega Aggron: You may be wondering why Mega Aggron is on this team. Why not? It beats every physical attacker in the game. Steel/Fighting/Rock coverage is s1k. This spread outspeeds Mega Lucario in tailwind, max attack, rest in HP.
Primeape: Scarf primeape has 0 checks. It should be tier 2'. The scarf set is cash. I don't run it because I have Aggron and Bisharp, but it gets gunk shot to beat fairies. It's only checks are Mega Diancie and Talonflame, which we handle eZ.
Serperior: Serp rounds out the fire-water-grass core of Talon/Washtom/Serp. It also gives us a 3rd defiant-esque pokemon, which is kind of cool. Serp has taunt to help with TR and glare for speed control. Serperior plays a support role on this team, not an offensive one.
All in all, this team is pretty sweet. If your opponent brings sun, which this team looks weak to, just lead talon/primeape and stone edge the zard and brave bird the venu, and its gg no re. Give me votes this week you fucks

Standard Bisharp and Talonflame sets, with Steel Wing helping the Mega Diancie matchup, as we already have Will-O-Wisp on Rotom-W and don't desperately need Tailwind with three priority users and two scarf users. However, both moves are still useful options if you feel a tad weak to opposing Mega Kangaskhan or want more speed control, respectively.
Scarf Rotom-W (#BringBackRotom-W) supports this menacing duo against threats such as rain teams, bulky Water-types, Mega Diancie, and Heatran. Importantly, it can also burn opposing Mega Kangaskhan, which are a massive threat, with Scarf allowing Rotom to burn Kangaskhan it moves. Scarf Rotom-W also helps against some of the Pokemon which can annoy the core such as Keldeo and Terrakion.
With the team so far lacking a mega, while still looking weak to Kyurem-B, as well as opposing Trick Room teams, Mega Kangaskhan was added. Scrappy Fake Out in conjunction with Bisharp's powerful dual STAB combination can handle nearly all TR leads in itself, but the strong amount of priority the team has also lets it decently handle most threats while Trick Room is set. Mega Kangaskhan also helps against Heatran, as well as having a positive matchup against many threats in the metagame such as Thundurus and Mega Charizard-Y, which can currently cause problems.
At this point, the team would quite like something which can reliably kill Amoonguss, as well as something which can safely switch into Keldeo. Latios fits perfectly here, while also being able to beat Pokemon such as Kyurem-B, Heatran, and opposing Rotom-W for the team. HP Ground is used to beat Heatran, and within that role make sure Heatran has as few free opportunities to Substitute as possible.
For deciding on the final team member slot, the team lacked a proper Mega Kangaskhan switch-in, or something to KO it. Landorus-T fills this role perfectly, as well as helping against Pokemon such as Mega Diancie, Heatran, and Mega Charizard-Y. With three teammates immune to Ground-type attacks, Landorus-T finds many opportunities to Earthquake safely, providing the team with a strong, useful spread attack. Landorus-T also forms a pseudo Volt-Turn core with Rotom-W, which is effective for gaining momentum, bringing in frailer teammates safely, and can help provide vital chip damage on the opponent's Pokemon to put them in range of one of the team's strong priority attacks.
Kyle kept insisting I do this, and I hope people read this to get a good understanding of the teambuilding process
shaian , Stratos , and I sat down to teambuild around the concept of Mega Diancie, Life Orb Bisharp, and Stealth Rock support. I may be the compulsive stealth rock user but this was Shaian's idea I swear :)
The idea was to get certain attacks into KO range thanks to rock damage. A few relevant ones are below.
+1 252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Sucker Punch vs. 44 HP / 0 Def Landorus-T: 298-351 (90.3 - 106.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
+1 252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 116 Def Rotom-W: 278-329 (91.4 - 108.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

We debated over a Rocky Helmet Amoonguss here which would help vs Rotom-W, Keldeo, Kangakhan, and Rain, but ultimately decided on Ferrothorn.
Ferrothorn is a much better answer to Rain than Amoonguss, while still maintaining the ability to fight Rotom-W and Kangaskhan. In addition this let us pick out our stealth rock user quite early.
Power Whip was prioritized over Gyro Ball on this mono-attacking set since our main goal with ferro was a rain answer and killing other water types. Power Whip still KO's kangaskhan after Helmet and Iron Barbs damage due to 2 hits from parental bond
We are just using the smogdex spread for now since I was having difficulty finding any of my ferrothorn spreads at the time, so this open to be changed if anyone has a better spread to get the job done.

We were extremely concerned with Zard Venu and wanted to prioritize fixing that immediately, so we felt Talon would be a great fit. It OHKO's venusaur and can KO even bulky zard after rocks damage if it comes down to it.
Talon also helps vs Rain, Keldeo, and Amoonguss which are a lot of things across the board.
The set is standard physical dual stabs and adamant life orb, but we wanted to mess around with Swords Dance because its a cool set that Stratos has been pushing for more people to try out so we figured why not.
Swords Dance allows you to OHKO lando-t if you swords dance as they intimidate you so you can Brave Bird on the following turn.
+1 252+ Atk Life Orb Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 44 HP / 0 Def Landorus-T: 333-394 (100.9 - 119.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Keldeo (0-1 more check) doesnt hurt to add another with two mons weak to it

Zard Venu Sun (0-1 more checks) Still scary so 1 more check wont hurt

We still wanted another sun check since it was still a concern and look towards Dragons that may be a good fit.
Our choice here was Latios as it adds so much to the team all across the board at this stage.
It is a secondary sun check, another rain check, keldeo check, rotom-w check, kyurem-b check, heatran check (thanks to hp ground).
Kangaskhan (0-1 more checks) Cant really go wrong with too many kangaskhan checks
Lando-T (1 more check) It can hit everything on our team for supereffective damage and even though we can work around with everything having protect and reliable switch in of ferrothorn it still wouldnt hurt to have another check.

Stratos and I got a fetish for this rascal after using it VGC to tear through CHALK teams.
All we needed was a Kangaskhan check and Lando-t so it fits the bill. It also is a rain check, heatran check, amoonguss check (Go Goggles!).
The Trick Room option is cool since we have two priority users and ferrothorn as teammates. Bisharp is slower than a lot of offensive threats to take advantage of the speed and I have had success with Diancie on semiroom teams in the past so I felt it could work.
The spread was made by Shaian and it takes a Life Orb Aegislash Shadow Ball with the rest dumped in defense. There probably is a more optimal spread but we just wanted something for the sake of testing immediately.
Jellicent will KO Talonflame with Scald after it takes both Brave Bird and Life Orb recoil without any special attack investment.
We should be pretty good all across the board and dont see too big a hole at the forefront of the teambuilding. (Or so we thought)
Shaian proceeds to play Yellow Paint (didnt think to save replay), and we find that we have issues with opposing Ferrothorn. Even things like Kyurem-B and Heatran can still be annoying since Jellicent and Ferrothorn are bait to set up substitutes on.
We decided to just remove Jellicent in favor of Keldeo and walk the path of Hyper Offense.
Our previous team was somewhat trying to be HO but was held back by Jellicent and even Ferrothorn which made substitute users freely setup on us.
Our Keldeo set is the standard Life Orb with 2 Stabs of Secret Sword and Hydro Pump (The 3 of us all are all pumpers. Scald damage output just doesnt cut it for us.).
We had quick guard to help patch up the Talon matchup and even Thundurus matchup since Hyper Offense often struggles with those two.
Keldeo fulfills the role of Kang check and Lando-t which Jellicent brought to the team, as well as not being bait for substitute users like Kyurem-B and Heatran
Mega Diancie could potentially be a problem. We could opt for speed control on one of our last 3 members since they all have access to it but its still up to be tested.

Pro:
- Another answer for Diancie
Con:
- Can no longer bait and setup on Lando-T switchins
We are just changing our Talonflame set to Steel Wing here. The Diancie matchup is quite problematic since all our Heatran checks(Diancie, Latios, Keldeo) either are slower or at best speed tie with opposing Mega Diancie, which isnt something we are comfortable with. So Diancie + Heatran would be quite a problem for our team without the change, and the change only mitigates it a bit.
Mega Diancie could still potentially be a problem. We turned Talonflame into a Diancie check so we have other options than relying on speed ties to beat Diancie + Heatran, but we still have to play very carefully in the Diancie matchup.

Keldeo
1. 252 SpA Life Orb Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 228 HP / 0 Def Kyurem-B: 361-429 (80.5 - 95.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
Do not treat the above as if the team is reliant on Stealth Rocks because it is not. Stealth Rock simply opens a few doors that werent initially available.
The Final Squad
And thats our final product. Yes the team on the forefront looks like pretty standard Hyper Offense, but we tried to make a team where we felt stealth rock would shine and this team does just that.
Some people may build teams by slapping a bunch of solid mons and call it a day, but the step-by-step teambuilding process was very important to the creation of this team so we hope people read and learn from it because that's why I spent over an hour writing this

Starting core was Talonburd + Bisharp. I noticed this is extremely well prepared for Aegislash and also has lots of priority, so the perfect recipe for a starting base of a Trick Room team.
I remembered Stratos' interesting Talonflame+Hoopa-U team and how it allows Abomasnow to flourish, so I thought of really good Trick Room pokemon that are hindered by Aegislash. Immediately, Jirachi came to mind. It's incredibly good on Trick Room, but often is unused due to its piss poor Aegislash matchup.
Next I added TREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE because I wanted a ghost-type-offensive setter and Chandy wasn't going to cut it. Life Orb Natural Cure Wood Hammer because bulky sitrus berry harvesting bullshit is for shitty farmers not for good pokemon players.
Here I needed Fake Out. While it's possible to get by w/o fake out fuck that shit I'd need a way bulkier team and way more priority so I added Kangaskhan, which is slappable onto any team and helps my Heatran/Talonburd/Char Y matchup considerably. I also chose Kang because adding Scrafty sounded like a bad idea when I already have Bisharp.
Heatran/fire aids was still looking really annoying so I added Azumarill. Jirachi+Azu tr is a potent combo + Kang+Azu is so good I can't even start. With how offensively focused my team is looking, Azumarill looks like a great catch to screwing over anyone who misteps with their leads and just shitting all over them, as seen by Fangame's azu tr team.
CHECK WHAT IS THIS INNOVATION PLZ EXPLAIN
Bisharp: C H O I C E B A N D
Does lots and lots of damage. Not much else to say. KOs things that Life Orb misses out on such as Sucker on Landot, Togekiss/Jirachi, Sucker OHKOS TALONFLAME (like hello holy fuck what is this damage)
Further explanation on why Bisharp TR Choice Band is good af can be found in creative sets thread. It comes in when TR is up and kills things and constrains switches, and it functions are priority
Talonflame set: Overheat because aegis is aids and ferro is aids and overheat is good. Enough SpA to do at least 75% to Aegis for obvious reasons. Rest in HP. No speed investment because I don't need any. Already outspeeds Megagross/Kang premega and minspeeds them post-mega.
Jirachi: See replays for why Healing Wish Trick Room Jirachi is the best set in the world if your team is prepared for Aegislash. Lives Flare Blitz.
Quick Explanation for why hw jirachi is godly: Resets burned allies, LETS YOU BD, SWITCH OUT, then BD AGAIN. It lets you be much more frivolous with doing stuff like leading with your attackers and not leading Trick Room, and then recycling the other attackers later.
again look in replays for godly healing wish plays
Azu: Knock Off is the best Azu set, play rough is garbage.

Basically what you want to do is double protect with diancie+galvantula turn 1 and then set up sticky web turn 2 after skill swapping magic bounce onto an opponent so that the web is set up against you and when you switch in bisharp or milotic they get an automatic +2!!! It is a bit Diancie weak which is why i made Talonflame steel wing over tailwind and it also seems pretty zard weak but it isnt bc diancie+talon=kill. also galvantula has the ultimate support in struggle bug AKA the snarl that bisharp doesn't resist.
This team is good because every person who uses bad ladder strats has used this sort of team to success.
I chose this type of team because i had to submit something every week and i ran out of ideas for bisharp+talon so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This is a hyper offensive team I built in XY and adapted to ORAS. The team is super standard so I won't really bother to explain how I built it but rather its synergy.
The team will only work if you're constantly able to keep the enemy on the backfoot because the entire squad is super squishy besides like Aegislash, it won't be too difficult to put the enemy on backfoot because of the tools I provide with the sets to support my damage dealers and provide a "sweep". Take for example SD Talonflame, using SD immediatly puts your opponent on the backfoot because you can just spam BB and get kills for free. If you can't keep up momentum you will lose, however becaue of the team's structure it won't be too hard to get back on track due to the insane amount of offensive pressure everything provides.
You should be using Thundurus and Aegislash as defensive pivots to get any of the damage dealers in, Wide Guard is great here because the team had weak Charizard-Y switch-ins and I wanted to force it to use Flamethrower/Overheat so I could get stuff in safely, it also provides protection from EQs and Rock Slides. The Talonflame set is interesting, it's a GREAT offensive tool vs everything because nobody expects it and you can just 2HKO or even OHKO entire teams with it, I'm running Leftovers because recoil is insane when you are outright murdering things from 100%.
LO Thundurus with Flash Cannon because fuck Diancie and fuck Charizard-Y.
Running Icy Wind Keldeo because everyone expects Quick Guard so it's kind of useless now. Hydro Pump on Keldeo over Scald to OHKO regular Diancie and put both Lando-T and Bulky Charizard-Y in range for BB in sun.
The team's worst matchup is by far sun, but you got Tflame and Thundurus to help with that and Bisharp will fuck up variants with Landorus-T. Against Char-Y + Venusaur leading Tflame + Thundurus/Kangaskhan is not a bad idea, against variants with Lando-T you'll want to lead with Bisharp. Don't give Char-Y any chances to spam his moves, as he can power through the team, specially with the support of a fast teammate.
Against rain or anything else it depends on what mons they have, specifically watchout for their bulky mons and pivots, because those are the ones you'll want to kill so you can just spam offensive moves and win. Watch out for CHALK though, as Kangaskhan can power through this team if given the opportunity.

This is my Bisharp/Talonflame team which is kind of offensive. We have standard Sash Bisharp and Life Orb Talonflame to put alot of offensive pressure. I am using Tailwind on Talonflame because I don't have any other speed control on the rest of the team. Even though Bisharp and Talonflame have priority they don't really like Trick Room so I added Amoonguss which also helps check Rotom-W and Terrakion. For the mega I chose Gardevoir as the team lacked any spread moves which Gardevoir easily provides, I am using it over Diancie because I had some other teamates in mind (and to make it VGC legal). Next I added Choice Scarf Landorus-T as a way to help with fire-types that were running through my team like Charizard, Heatran and gave the team a bit more speed. I am using Stone Edge>U-Turn so I can more realibly OHKO Charizard. Lastly I felt that I was still a bit weak to fire types so I added Rotom-W which also has Levitate so you can Earthquake with Landorus-T. The Rotom spread allows you to outspeed Scarf Landorus-T in Tailwind.
the team is built around gardevoir and landorus. landorus is great for gardevoir because it beats steels and charizard-y really well. serperior provides a spore switch-in and a way to beat water types, which landorus cant deal with. suicune is the team's talonflame counter, but it also provides speed control, which the core of gardevoir + landorus needs severely. bisharp benefits from the tailwind and is used to also beat fairies while also providing a secondary check to aegislash. it also gives the team a more effective way to threaten gyarados. talonflame is the local sun check. it also has taunt to stop opposing trick room.

Next we realized we were TR weak, so we through on life orb bisharp to help with that and scarf Lando-T, who was a threat.

48 SpA Mega Diancie Moonblast vs. 228 HP / 28 SpD Kyurem-B: 338-398 (75.4 - 88.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
Standard basic sets as a start.
Keldeo fulfills the role of Kang check and Lando-t which Jellicent brought to the team, as well as not being bait for substitute users like Kyurem-B and Heatran
...
