OK, using CardoftheHearts damage calculator,
If Muscle Band activated, it would do between 51-60 damage.
If it didn't, it would be between 46-55.
Ergo, Muscle Band does in fact activate when confused. (No need to do any more tests)
You might not need to for items that affect the actual Attack stat, but does Life Orb trigger it? I think I tested it without any actual concrete data as to what I should have gotten. What's the Base Power of hurting yourself in confusion?
For this test, I shall be using my Numel with Simple, against the Fisherman with 6 Magikarp. I shall repeat the test over either 60, 80, or 100 times, or more (depending on how accurate the result is). I shall be using Focus Energy once, then attacking. If Simple is activated, there will be a 25% crit rate, if not, a 12.5% crit rate. This is why I chose 60, 80, or 100.Obi said:Simple: Does Simple give an increased effect of Focus energy?
When this Pokemon is hit by a super effective Ice move, the damage is reduced by 50%. This only reduces the damage of the first hit of a multi-hit attack. One-time use.
It is.I have a question.
If you Baton Pass a Substitute from Togekiss to Jolteon (for example) will Jolteon be Poisoned by Toxic Spikes? On Shoddy it still poisons, but I think it might be different ingame
Here's Intimidate:
I go in an in-game battle against a fisherman
I send in Cresselia
He sends in Gyarados1
Cresselia uses Mist
Gyarados does x
Cresselia uses Charge Beam
Gyarados2 comes in and this message appears "protected by the Mist"
So, Mist blocks Intimidate.
And here're Heart Swap, Power Swap and Guard Swap:
In-game double battle(s) (summed)
A- Heart Swap
Cresselia and Manaphy (-2Sp.D)
Cresselia uses Mist
Manaphy uses Heart Swap and it works
B- Power Swap
Cresselia and Mr. Mime (-2Atk)
Cresselia uses Mist
Mr. Mime uses Power Swap and it works
C- Guard Swap
Cresselia and Mr. Mime (-2Sp.D)
Cresselia uses Mist
Mr. Mime uses Guard Swap and it works
Therefore, Mist does not block Heart Swap/Power Swap/Guard Swap.
In-game double battle with Rest Early Bird Kangaskhan and Skill Swap Mew
[1-Early Bird lost]X (wasting turn in order for Kangaskhan to get damaged)
Mew uses x
Kangaskhan uses Rest
Foes do x
Mew uses Skill Swap
Kangaskhan is fast asleep (turn #1 sleeping)
Foes do x
Mew uses x
Kangaskhan if fast asleep (turn #2 turn sleeping)
When Early Bird is lost the remaining sleeping turns are doubled (0.5*2=1). In this case when Kangaskhan lost Early Bird it had to sleep the regular 2 turns of Rest.
[2-Early Bird gained]
Foes do x
Mew uses x
Kangaskhan uses Rest
Mew uses Skill Swap (Kangaskhan has Synchronize because of previous SS)
Kangaskhan is fast asleep (turn #1sleeping)
Foes do x
Mew uses x
Kangaskhan wakes up
When Early Bird is gained the remaining turns is cut by half and rounded down (2/2=1 or if Skill Swapped after turn 1 -> 1/2= 0.5 rounded down=0). In this case when Kangaskhan regained Early Bird it slept only one turn after using Rest.
Can someone do a quick and easy test for me: use Night Shade on Shedinja.
Encore: Lasts 4-8 turns. Is this an even distribution chance (as in 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 turns all have equal probabilities)?
5) Diamond/Pearl vs. Platinum. If Diamond uses Hypnosis, what is the chance it works? If Platinum uses Hypnosis, what is the chance it works? From my testing it seems that you cannot transform if you do not accept the special move. But I went to the move deleter and was allowed to delete the move.
Nothing. The attack hits, but the item is not Knocked Off. Similiar to Arceus' Sticky Hold type effect.1) What happens when you use Knock Off on Origintina?
The move fails. In the case of Thief and Covet, the item cannot be stolen. Snatch does not still items so that has no bearing on the matter.2) What happens when you use Trick/Covet/Snatch on Origintina?
Platinum Questions I have:
3) When you Freeze a skymin, will it revert to land form? (low level blissey w/ Serene Grace using Ice Beam on High Level Skymin)
4) What happens when you remove a special move from Rotom? (i.e. Can you have a Heat Rotom that does not know Overheat, I see it as a way of playing mindgames with people)
5) Diamond/Pearl vs. Platinum. If Diamond uses Hypnosis, what is the chance it works? If Platinum uses Hypnosis, what is the chance it works?
The move fails. In the case of Thief and Covet, the item cannot be stolen. Snatch does not still items so that has no bearing on the matter.
Nintendo hates WonderTomb.Obviously (and I have no idea why) Nintendo did NOT fix that glitch
