DP Tier Discussion - BL and UU (mark 2)

Why is Aerodactyl UU. Seriously, this thing should be OU. Best lead ever in my opinion. None of that taunt + SR crap either. LOdactyl is the greatest.

Things like Claydol end up stopping it, and Bulky Waters aren't an exception, Quagsire does a pretty good job at it, so I don't find Aerodactyl a problem in UU, but then again I don't talk for everyone here.

Ya, the SR set is BS. A nub question, would a max atk rivalry luxray using ice fang do more damage than max atk electrivire, cuz luxray looks pretty scary with that rivalry boost.

Luxray's attack stat is only 3 points lower than Electivire's, so a rivalry boost would make a huge difference. The problem with Rivalry is that it's not especially reliable, and you can actually lose attack by going against the opposite gender.

Why are the new Rotom forms in UU... I was pretty sure we were going to put them into BL.

They are? I'm pretty sure they're meant to be OU at the moment, and will likely stay there. I could imagine them being a nuisance in UU lol, after all the only things keeping the original Rotom there are low defenses and not quite enough special coverage, the typing and trait combo is that good.

I thought by a general consensus that all the new Rotom forms were OU in the Platinum Updates thread? Those things are pretty good enough in OU so I can't imagine any being UU (well except Spin Rotom?)

why would spin rotom be uu? it still has the same stats as the others and still has good duo stab? lacking unstab overheat/hydro pump/leaf storm/blizzard isnt a big loss

I was mainly kidding since I see him having the least of use of the Rotom forms in OU (next to normal Rotom) with Air Slash. I guess it makes a slight impact on Heracross but that's about it.

I agree with skiddle, I don't really feel like playing until people stop using the fucking rotom forms in UU (WTF?).

Not to mention I'm kind of waiting to see if we go ahead with Obi's plan or not. >.>

Moves of the Rotom Variation tend to miss.. its a Risk.. And every turn counts..

I'm praying that Hippo isn't kicked to BL next month. I already hated Regirock, Shuckle, etc as is. Not so much Rhyperior, but it's always good to remain vigilant against it...

That is all.

@Skiddle Agreed. It has nothing to do with their move pool, it has to do with their fucking base stats, typing and ability. >>

Let's face it, no one ever complained about rotom's movepool being shallow, and it was a damn good UU poke even before being "upgraded."

Dead on. I think the new Rotom formes are definitely a bit much for UU, unless stuff like Aero and Weezing stick around, in which case bring 'em on down.

Wait what? I haven't been on shoddy for a while so I haven't experienced the new Rotom or new... anything. But, if i remember correctly the new Rotom's keep the same base stats, same typing, and gain 1 new move per form. What makes these so game breaking for them to go to BL. :/ ffs stop complaining and adjust.

They actually have higher base stats in the important areas as well.

Haha . . . you don't even need me to call this comment moronic.
