Please don't ask about the title. (:

The team is nothing special at all.. But I'd like everyone's help to make it special. :3

Quick Notes

I refuse to use Blissey, Skarmory, Latias or Stealth Rock..

Weavile
@ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Nature: Jolly (+Spd, -SAtk)
Swords Dance
Ice Shard
Night Slash
Brick Break

This set's been working very well and it sweeps atleast 2 Pokes if given the chance. But if the starter is a Poke with Focus Sash or Sand Stream, it's pretty much F'd.. I won't mind switching this one with something else. I've been thinking a Scarf'd Heatran, a Life Orb'd Dugtrio or MAYBE an Aerodactyl for Stealth Rock.

212.png

Scizor
@ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP/80 Def/176 SDef
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SAtk)
Swords Dance
Bullet Punch
X-Scissor
Roost

Come on, EVERY team has a Scizor, I had to see what the hype was all about! XD This set works very well. It's someone else's set but I forgot who it was so credit to whoever it might be..

I use it mostly early in the game to know some of my opponent's Pokes so it'll be easier for me to predict and use my other Pokes.

Salamence
@ Yache Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 232 Atk/252 Spd/24 SAtk
Nature: Naughty (+Atk, -SDef)
Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Outrage
Fire Blast

Instead of wasting your time with something long, STANDARD. This one helps as a late game sweeper. Yache Berry helps a lot on setting DD. Fire Blast for Skarmory or Bronzong.

395.png

Infernape
@ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 64 Atk/252 Spd/192 SAtk
Nature: Naive (+Spd, -SDef)
Nasty Plot
Flamethrower
Close Combat
Hidden Power [Ice]

Again, STANDARD. Wall breaker pretty much.

260.png

Swampert
@ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/216 Def/52 SAtk
Nature: Relaxed (+Def, -Spd)
Earthquake
Ice Beam
Surf
Roar

..STANDARD? Plus I need something to counter Fire.

385.png

Jirachi
@ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP/252 Spd/4 SAtk
Nature: Timid (+Spd, -Atk)
Substitute
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Calm Mind

First, I really need to get this off my chest.. I remember the very first team I had on Smogon about a year ago, it had this set. EVERYONE kept telling me that Jirachi is for Support only.. I told them no, it rapes! And now, it's Jirachi's most common set.. so to everyone that told me it doesn't work, I TOLD YOU SO! XD

And yes, it still rapes like hell. I use it if DDMence didn't do well. =p

Sorry for not making it interesting to read.. I got too lazy and I hate putting effort into things.. XD

Please try to explain your advices.

LO DD Gyara 6-0's this team pretty much only Jirachi has a shot and if he's running EQ its over. The all attacking Mixape is also a huge problem for you. 4 of the 6 members are OHKO'd and if it runs max speed it can also speed tie your Infernape. Since you refuse to use SR which would be logical on Swampert. I'd advice you to switch it for Vaporeon as it counters Gyara and Infernape. Also expect this thread to be locked as you have no explanations.

I tried to add some explanations but I think it was still obvious before I added the extras. :3

Anyways, I will try Vaporeon out. Thank you. Any more advice?

Well first of all Stealth Rock is pretty much necessary on every team to have a chance to compete with other teams. I am not sure why you don't like it, but since you are already using Salamence AND Scizor, I am guessing it isn't just out of sheer anti-conformity...

In either case, add Stealth Rock! It turns 2HKOs into OHKO, 3HKOs into 2HKOs, etc. This is soo valuable to any team because it prevents games from dragging on too long, and Stealth Rock helps cripple deadly sweepers like Salamence and Gyarados.

Another suggestion is Heatran > Infernape, although I suggest a set with Taunt, which wil perform wall breaking duties about as well as Infernape, Taunting Blissey making those attempts to Wish futile. There are plenty of item options, Shuca Berry, Leftovers, Life Orb, etc. Stealth Rock is an option here as well, or you could just fit it on Swampert, which you should probably do as Phazing without Stealth Rock isn't worth it, I would rather just use HP Electric/Stone Edge for what you need to Phaze...

Decent team, but without Stealth Rock I see this performing rather averagely.

This thread is now locked under Rule 3:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you're having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.
If you fix this up then PM me and I will unlock your thread.
