Tournament DWCoP VI Discussion Thread

Idk, I think we should add a few SV OU slots to bridge the gap.



Though in all seriousness, I agree w Charlotte that we should make it easier to fill slots, however, I don’t agree with the thought that an all SV format makes dwcup more accessible, all the fairy gens currently have fairly active (albeit a bit weak) ladders and there’s plenty of resources to look to for ideas and teams so idt anyone newer to doubles will have much issue making it work.

As for ND, DLC, DUbers and DUU
These were mentioned in dubs cord so I figured I should lay out my thoughts properly here

adding DUU seems reasonable active strong ladder with a healthy circuit def a solid choice

ND is already featured in NDWC idt we need to add it here, although if it was added it would have no trouble filling in slots. Healthy active circuit with an incredibly active ladder and rly good resources

DLC idt DLC would be a good fit fairly niche tier w a fairly inactive circuit as of rn with no ladder fairly solid resources though

DUbers Strong ladder no circuit and zero representation whatsoever on smogon aside from some spotlights and derby I idt this would be a good fit here there aren’t as many things to look towards to make stuff
