'Quick' braindump from me
I really dont like M2H here. He started D2 off with a laser focus on Apricity and me and hes know committing to a reset of sorts where hes going to ISO whoever and then work backwards from a towncore. "Well acshually its not a reset" DIDNT ASK. This is after him saying hes "not getting anywhere" with me and Apricity which is a super weird thing to say since his allegedly preferred wagon is at most votes currently (I think?, need a VC) and I came around to seeing Apricity in a similar way that he does, although maybe for different reasons. Now M2H seems to have far less interest in persuading people to vote for a wagon which at the start of Day was his exclusive topic of conversation. Seems disingenuous and I wont be surprised at all when he suddenly pivots votes over to me at deadline.
I havent seen an M2H scumgame but Im starting to get the creeping dread that its the world I live in.

Anyone townreading Des for posting literally ANYTHING is criminally insane. Like I like Des (as a person, not saying I think shes town), but her content this game has been underwhelming even compared to her other games. Anyone saying shes town for meta reasons should link me some evidence to the contrary cause I don't see it and I think anyone saying shes anything other than null needs to have a reality check.
I think there is likely one mafia in this group of lurkers (maybe 2 even). Chemdah admitting to this being his first NOC game isn't making me feel too much better about him. I think his playstyle fits the pattern of a new player who rolled mafia and is kind of afraid to post reads or engage with people. So his content is mostly answering some questions about himself and discussing flavor which is the sort of thing I would expect from a new player receiving a mafia role. If he were town I think he'd be asking for advice a bit more openly(?) or just being more inquisitive in general. This isn't a slam dunk read, I could see him being town and it just is what it is, but ya anyone who is townreading this slot should explain themselves.
Evie I need to reread cause I recall Evie having some more content so Im gonna shelf any Evie discussion until I do that. Noted that Evie was at 2/3 votes EOD 1 and was the 3rd wagon after Celever/NE.
TOWN CORE: CK, Pulsar, DBD, Skipper(?)
CK is pretty clearly not playing in his scum meta right now. I already posted about Pulsar but I really dont see her killing Fairy whom she was apparently quite eager to talk to on D1 and had some rapport with. Also Pulsar's limited presence has still felt natural when she has arrived, more lack of scummy behavior than anything. DBD is a read I will likely waver on at some point in the future but I do think this is town DBD. Ehhh I just skimmed his ISO and its not quite as great as I recall. He did hop on the Celever wagon after Celever claimed tracker which dont like. I think his townread on Des is something probably more likely from town. Overall I am basing most of my opinion on DBD on meta and Im going to stick with my original statement that hes town for that.
Im going to maybe sheep CK's townread on Skipper for now and then reread Skipper posts when I have time. I did kind of like Skipper's answer when I asked about why he didn't want to vote Celever due to the self vote. A mafia Skipper would probably be more concerned about looking like hes solving, but Skipper said he just didnt want to add fuel to a crashout essentially which I think is coming from town likely more than not.
Thats only 5/15 players I have as mostly town which we really need to get that number up. Please townies if you could start townposting everywhere (like Celever did in his first(?) post of the game tbqh fam) that would be splendid.
AXIS OF EVIL: M2H, NE, Wisteria, Apricity
This is where my attention has been for most of Day 2. Its worth noting that 4 (four) of these players voted for Celever on Day 1.
If you just look at the wagons alone from D1 there is a strong case to make for there being more than 1 scum in this group
Of this group of 4 I think Im ironically coming around to Wisteria being the most likely town, but Im not sold on that.

As a reminder to any townies out there, M2H voted for the claimed tracker and then pushed a "power" player start of Day 2.
This is a complete bullshit read which only makes sense if you _know_ that Joey was using ChatGPT to solve the game. How do you know Joey wasn't asking ChatGPT to summarize the thread for him so he wouldnt have to read it? Or maybe Joey asked ChatGPT to build a case against some random player for him. M2H shouldnt have any idea what Joey was doing with ChatGPT but hes presuming its "an attempt to solve". This is either super naive about what sort of things AI can do and/or based on the knowledge that Joey is town ergo Joey was doing town things with AI.

A Fairy did express some dislike of Flandrs posts very late in the Day which was during all the chaos of deadline. Flandrs does have a slightly higher motivation to kill Fariy compared to anyone else since she did seem to maybe be turning against him somewhat. She didnt call him scummy directly (but she didnt call anyone scummy I dont think).
That said Im still null-town on Flandrs I think he was trying to advance the game in early D1 and Id like to see more of that from him..
Nah, in hindsight, I'll admit that I should've definitely read through everything before posting, as that read was from purely vibes. I'll have a more solid read on NE on whether he's town/maf in the future. For the 4 slots, from most likely town to most likely maf, it's gonna have to be CK>AP>apricity>evie, brain isn't working today so that order's on pure gut feeling, extremely subject to change. Maybe (big emphasis on maybe) I'll be able to explain later on, but chances are the order will have changed since then.
Was trying to have town not lose another member by asking questions that I thought might've gotten me voted for looking susp + I just don't talk that much. That and I'm pretty sure I nearly live on the other side of the world from most players, so timezones are wacky and I'm sleeping when most are awake. Anyway, I might as well ask a question since I got specifically called out for not asking questions. Comparing this with ToS, there's a whole lot less using info from roles. In fact, I'm pretty sure that there's been pretty much zero talk about the actions that our roles can do. Was wondering when the pool of info starts being less info gained through scumreads and vote counts and more on info gained through actions done by roles?

the whole readslist shenanigans we had earlier today particularly reminded me of her conduct in lumiose legends mafia, where i got the same feeling of pulling teeth when trying to get her to generate content. she wound up flipping town there too
i'm not saying that des is 100% town here, moreso that i'm definitely not gonna be fully writing her off i think

idt there has been much talk of roles because this is a closed setup (i.e. we don't know what roles are in this thing) and massclaiming early is usually just bound to be disastrous
i honestly don't think the pool of info ever becomes less "gained through reads" because ultimately reads would inform all of your actions in this game (i.e. you wouldn't protect someone you sr or inspect someone you tr)
but i think the mech info can come into play as we draw closer to endgame or when someone gets a definitive redcheck ig
i will note that this from you makes me feel nervous. if you felt smth was off re: the vibes of NE's posting i highly encourage you to quote the posts that made you feel that way (even if those posts don't do so anymore!)
even if your reads are vibereads surely there's smth that's making you feel that way, so it'd be best if you can make your thought process as transparent as possible

Yep, thought before posting that that line may have made me look maf. I'm usually always nervous about how I'm perceived (who isn't honestly?), and I'd rather not get voted early on my first NOC, especially considering that I like the flavor for this NOC.

I see what you mean by this and you could be right, however I do think there's a possibility that scum saw him nearly get voted d1 and get some major sus and decided they were all going to distance from him. Skipper has softly townread him today which is a little bit of defense (though his post did also give some sus on NE, to give credit), and there are plenty of people who just haven't commented on him that have some sus (Evie, ch3mdah I think, probably more I haven't researched). They could've also chose to bus instead of distance.
