E3 2013 | RETR-oh no....

killer instict on Xbox one is so sad, i thought nothing would be worthwhile and just get a wii u but NOOOOOOO

e3 sabotaging xbox presentation. that was painful to

lol @ microsoft guy's face when he announced the price

WOW this is a train wreck

if they dont bring out Banjo Kazooie 3 soon this will be the biggest fail since the initial PS3 conference

dat halo trailer tho

This Microsoft presentation solidifies Nintendo's decision to not hold a big conference this year. It's getting ugly, and really shows just how awkward these kind of things can be.

can i just say all of you idiots are going to buy it anyway because halo
yeah :(

actually I've been fairly surprised by the games today, looks like there would be several that I'd be interested in getting if I could afford the absurd $500 pricetag. Sony's obviously going to cockblock them with a $400 price or less. the presentation of those titles has been fairly lacking, but at least they're moving quickly.

I think it's kind of crap that Xbox One is going to be more expensive in Europe. Another bad move IMO

Halo reveal was interesting. Looks to be a war sphinx rising from the desert, but the Cortana chip surprised me because I am almost certain John didn't get a chance to remove it from the Didact's ship before the Havok went off.

Titanfall was the most impressive to me by a mile. I can't wait for more info. Looks like a mix between Halo and Mech Assault.

They needed to show games to convince gamers to buy it, and that's exactly what they did. They didn't waste any time with TV announcements, kinect games, or sports partnerships; they showed nothing but games, which was perfect.

You can argue against any of the individual games, but they really tried to appeal to us today, which instantly makes it the best microsoft conference in years. Though they had some technical issues, I don't think the conference could have been much better without bombshell announcements or the renouncing of previously announced Xbox One features (or announcing a better price... $500, sheesh).

Well that was an easy way to catch up on the Microsoft conference.

I'm not shocked at this one. They used all their big budget games to lure people in and at the next big conference (I.E. PAX or whatever is next up the line) they'll reveal shitty feature number 287.

I'm waiting for EA to bring Don Mattrick on stage to announce Mirror's Edge 2 as an XB1 exclusive.

ULTRA COMBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I'm still not getting one. The DRM is shitty and if it's $499 USD I shudder to think how much it would be here.

You know, they showed Killer Instinct and it did bring me back in, but they just had to go show the price tag. -_- I still wouldn't have bought it, but the price was the final nail in the coffin for me.

Hopefully Sony won't bomb and I know Nintendo won't.

missed the start of EA, what was shown before the need for speed movie trailer (when i came back)

They could have it print money and no one would buy it at this point.

As much as I hate to say it, you're 100% wrong, because the majority of gamers are uninformed about the implications of the new DRM / privacy scheme, and frankly don't care. Wanna know why they announced the partnership between EA Sports and XBone in the first conference, alongside COD Ghosts 2? Because that is the core gaming demographic right now. Casual users, ages 10-24, that don't care about the next big RPG and only want their football (american or otherwise) and their guns. I won't personally buy it. A lot of more "hardcore" gamers won't buy it. But they will still get the casual market, which will allow them to get away with this crap for years to come.
