Heh, funny thing about the title of this thread. I too was disappointed that Retro's game was another Donkey Kong... till it was revealed that the guy who is composing the game is fucking DAVID WISE!

Like Sony taking away Linux..
God-Emperor-Of-Mankind said:Also, much like the PS4, none of this has said "WE (Microsoft) won't be doing this..But nothing stops the GAMES PUBLISHERS doing this..."
Tw1s7 said:We are too big of a pussies to hold to what we announce so we change it because We're the best! ~ Microsoft
SilverX2 said:Sorry microsoft, this backtrack just shows how quickly you will change shit. You already opened that pandora's box of issues, Any trust i had, is gone. Whats to say a year from now you turn all this garbage back on?
Aldoragreel said:Please note that not ONE Microsoft/Xbox supporter is crying about it's removal. You'd think if they wanted it so badly there would be people crying out about it being removed, right? That's the only way the policies ever truly had merit in the first place, right? Right...?
naru-joe93 said:What a bunch of flip floppers. This makes me hate them more
naru-joe93 said:Sorry I dont have sympathy for a multi billion dollar corporation who tried to fuck me over, and are trying to be all nicey nice to get me back. HELL no
Aryn said:No need to thank Microsoft for this, their only doing it to gain more sales.
Zaos said:Too little too late - just the idea that they wanted to that to their customers as horrible. They're so out of touch with the bulk of their fanbase and think everyone is a 13 year old kid on CoD. You shit on the gamers and specifically took an approach that you are an all-around entertainment box first and foremost.
The fact that they are changing this now, means they could on a whim, go back to it in the future. Nope, nu-uh, not gonna invest in that crap.
These changes will impact some of the scenarios we previously announced for Xbox One. The sharing of games will work as it does today, you will simply share the disc. Downloaded titles cannot be shared or resold. Also, similar to today, playing disc based games will require that the disc be in the tray.
Of course they would have to take away the family sharing plan if they can't monitor what games you have downloaded... It comes down to whether you want the DRM stuff, or family sharing and it seems that most people wanted the DRM gone.
So they don't trust the consumer is what you are saying. So why should the consumer trust them?
