Eclipse last night

There was a lunar eclipse last night around 10-12.

Did any of guys see it?

What other eclipses have you seen in your lifetime?

yeah, I did, while going to work, gave the moon a copper tone.

I've seen a couple of lunar eclipses and one solar eclipse.

Yea I saw it, gave it a copper..ish? tone.
I know I saw some type of eclipse when I was younger, but I was a little too young back then to remember anything about it now..

I just remember during that solar one way back in 4th grade (for me), we all went out to see it with our slitted cardboard sheets or w/e but ONE kid just had to against the grain and stare directly at it the entire time. I recall that his eyes were fucked up for a while.

i saw it last night, it was pretty cool, and i think i saw another one a couple years back.

I watched it yesterday with a friend, it was really great as I haven't seen one in forever.

I remember seeing a Solar eclipse in like, grade 3 or 4, I started crying because I was scared of the dark back then and I thought we were going to die since it was only lunch time.

I've seen Lunar eclipses a few times so I didn't really bother gazing yestersay's eclipse. I caught a glimpse at it, but that's it.

Imagine if there was a Pokemon move called "Eclipse"--that would be sick. It would not only negate Morning Sun and Moonlight, but it would also take in the effects of those moves on the user at the end of the turn.

I saw it up to about halfway, and then it started snowing like a motherfucker and I lost view.

Isn't it ironic that we notice the sun and moon when they disappear from our view?

ironic maybe, but surprising no. the usual case is that both are visible, so when they aren't visible its different and therefore noteworthy!!!!!!!!!

I think Saturn was also visible below the moon.

Altmer: Wow, that's pretty neat. Could Mars or Mercury also do the same thing?

aw, i would have liked to see that. if i had looked up at that time i woulda seen a bunch of florescent lights and maybe the odd balloon.

I got like 5 annoying text messages about it so I figured I'd go outside and look at it since I would undoubtedly be quizzed later.

Kinda neat, I was fortunately at school when it was happening which is basically on the outskirts of nowhere so there were really no artificial lights messing with my view, and the skies were pretty clear. I couldn't have had better conditions.

I saw it, it was pretty cool. I live up on a mountain, so you could see it really clearly (thank god it wasn't cloudy like it normally is).
Kinda looked bloody imo.

Technically, it's called a transit rather than an eclipse. A Mercury transit of the sun occurred in 2003. Mercury transits occur only in May and November, and are pretty common, about one every few years. It is impossible to see a Mars transit from Earth, as it is outside Earth's orbit rather than inside.

Yea, I watched the whole thing. Got a good look at Saturn and Regulus (Star in the Leo Constellation thats like, 77 light years away). I can now say that i have seen the rings of Saturn. My god, are they ever beautiful.

i saw the eclipse last night it was cool the moon was all red around 11 ish est. I've seen 2 solar eclipse one in the 90s and another a few years ago on x-mas. I think i've seen another lunar eclipse around 2000ish. The next lunar isn't until like 2021 tho lol

Oh yeah.
Mars is outside earth.
I always forget that.
