Epic Pokemon Rap Battles R1 Voting! (Vote for Pedro)

Yeah we could vote on the best rap that was eliminated. (people who did not record should be automatically eliminated)

Now that would be unfair, because it did not say specifically in the rules that we HAD to record. (Plus, my doctor said I might have strep, so I couldn't even record if I wanted to.)

I say we have a second poll to determine it, and maybe then we get the people who hadn't recorded their songs to record it as sort of a second chance, since it seems like recording was a make-or-break decision for the voters in this poll.

I voted for people who didn't record if their rap was superior, however doesn't seem like most other people are. I certainly won't vote for anyone who doesn't record next round though, at this point it is kind of expected. I am not down to extend this voting period for people who didn't record though, I want to have the next round up asap hahaha

you could do top X number of people (say 16 or 24?) advance to the next round regardless of matchup. it's not as conventional, but that way, the best/most entertaining lyricists can share their talents in more rounds, and it also takes care of the issue where not every battle is voted on by some people.

Since we already have 12 people already qualifiying due to drop outs, and 11 people advancing from the matches, then all we need is one more person to get to the magic number 24 number, so the best "third" using ratios if needed as jump said should do the jump.

Also anyone who wants to submit anything outside of the contest is always welcome. I was thinking we can have special rap battles for fun in between rounds, such as user vs user, rmt vs rmt to kill time but that can only come from those intrested as its optional.

Alright, one more day left to the 17th, remember people if you don't vote your favorties won't get the chance to rap again, so make your voice heard!

Agree with everything here. Recording should be a must for next round and the voting period should not be extended by any means. This might not even be a problem anyways, so I don't know why we are worring about it too much. If it is, we can deal with it fairly. I just don't want anyone to have a second round bye.

The voting round will not be extended, but I will not force people to do something they don't want to do either, i.e. record their raps for example.

At any case I should start tallying the votes and prepare for round 2, there's only 12 hours left for votes anyway..

I'm just saying if anyone gets a buy it should be someone who recorded, not someone who was to lazy to record. This way we can give the buy to someone we know who can make good lyrics AND also rap well. No offense to people who did not record but no one knows how well u can actually rap your lyrics, and honestly the more entertaining raps are the ones u don't have to try to imagine.

Alright, I debated this alot and I've decided to let 28 people pass into R2, meaning 23 winners plus 5 third best MCs. However that also means R3 has no second chances so you better make it count.
