?!?!? Expect The Unexpected ?!?!? - Shoddy Pl0x, Lets Make This Undefeated =)

Expect The Unexpected

Ok this team is basically a "unexpected" team, to a certain degree. I really wanted to make it where your opponent would not expect what is coming next. My friend and I tested the team out on shoddy, it gave an "ok" record. The main problems were garchomp and sd lucario. Also, skarmory getting trapped by magnezone wasn't all that fun. So I'm thinking of putting shell bell on skarmory or if you guys can think of something to replace him that would be great to take away from my garchomp weakness. I will take any and all advice and try to use it, so please don't be bashful!

Infernape (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- U-turn
- Flare Blitz
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge

Ok so basically my lead, I may consider changing it to a scarfed infernape. I can deliver a boat load of damage in a small package even with uturn. I basically scout here also with uturn as my first move.

Dragonite (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 210 HP/48 Spd/252 SAtk
Lonely nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Focus Punch
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Roost

This beast breaks physical walls like nothing. Most people imo... switch in a physical wall such as gliscor or what not as to basically wall dragonite.. Well not anymore, this is a very proven and effective way to take out them pesky physical walls.

Lucario (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Aura Sphere
- Vacuum Wave
- Dark Pulse
- Hidden Power [Ice]

My main sweeper right here. Can deal tons of damage to on-coming physical threats that may come in due to the large number of SD Lucario's out there. It has been becoming so crazy that almost everyone packs a Gliscor with them in every team mostly... Either that or another lucario counter. I myself am in need of one tbh..

Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 160 HP/216 Spd/132 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Surf
- Recover
- Rapid Spin
- Thunderbolt

Basically my spinner of the team. This is also my infernape, gyarados and etc.. It ties all the loose bolts that I may have for the most part. It's a beast what can I say...

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 HP/96 Atk/156 Def/4 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Brave Bird
- Whirlwind
- Roost
- Spikes

I have tried stealth rock on this guy, but dealing loads of damage more than satisfys my needs. It is a great physical wall but often times gets trapped by magnezone. So I am considering shed bell.

Snorlax (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Return
- Earthquake
- Selfdestruct
- Crunch

This is a BEAST. Yea that's right, this thing can deal LOADS of damage to anything that comes in its way. BAsically I switch in on a special sweeper and then boooooom come right out with a return or crunch if I feel like they will send in a ghost.

This in a sense is my team, again as I said I have loads of trouble with garchomp, magnezone, and SD Lucario. I will take any and all points of view, I really think that surprising your opponent is the BEST way to actually win the game, so I would prefer out of the ordinary pokes that work, but will actually fit my team. If they are just normal I understand, I will use them also, anything that will fill in my loose gaps.

i would say to change snorlax to a blissey because focus blast from zam or gengar hurt snorlax but blissey can wall them for the most part.
use something like
blissey@leftovers
200hp/252def/56special def.
calm
t-wave
ice beam
seismic toss
softboiled

I see a Snorlax, Lucario, and Dragonite drawing out physical walls, yet nothing to take advantage of it once they are out of the way. Your own Garchomp would work wonders in my opinion. In this highly-offensive team, I see Skarmory holding you back the most. A Naive 240 Atk, 252 Spd, 16 SpA spread with Outrage, EQ, and Fire Blast as guaranteed attacks would serve you well. It also takes care of Lucario and Garchomp. Speaking of Lucario, you might as well make yours Timid to OHKO them w/ Vaccuum Wave before they can even touch you.

For the last move on Garchomp, I suggest Surf. It adds to the "surprise" element of your team while knocking Hippowdon and Gliscor off the list of effective counters.

Thanks man, I'll try those edits out. Once I do, I'll post the results.

For Snorlax, I would consider going Brave and with Fire Blast over Return. EQ and Crunch should have most of your bases covered, and Fire Blast at least lets you take out Skarmory and Forry, while also denting Bronzong.
