Fantasy Football

k, I'll be sending out the league ID and password in a few minutes.
 
Is there any particular reason why the 31st is NOT available any longer?

Currently I have three or four fantasy drafts coming up late this month and I will have to fucking auto-draft ALL of them. :chaos: I would kinda like to manually draft some of them or it just ruins the whole thing for me.
 
Some of you have not yet signed up. I will give you a few more days, and if you still haven't signed up, I will give the spots out to other people.
 
Ok, I am in! Explain to me the waiver rules, because on the two leagues I played, the only rules were that there was no restrictions or order to who can pick-up who, and the wavers started from Tuesday morning until gametime on Sunday.

The waiver order starts off based on draft order. The lowest draft pick has highest waiver priority and the highest pick has lowest priority. When you make a move your priority drops.
 
My group is also missing a person, so I guess we are looking for one more prior to draft date so we can get this show on the road.
 
MrE and I both have concerns regarding our league's August 30th draft time.

Is moving it back to the 31st feasible?

Yea, Sterling Stallions (you) had the first pick. Your team turned out monstrous for the autopick going for you. I had pick 10 which was the one pick I really didn't want (I had it in my other draft too but Tom Brady fell to me at 10 which I wasn't expecting but took it), but I think it worked out ok for me.

Pick 10 and 11 I went with Portis/Lynch, but I regret it greatly as some solid number two type running backs lingered forever because the autopick fills in teams by need, and it left alone a lot of those Thomas Jones/Edge James/Willie Parker/McFadden/etc. type RB's which can fill a second running back spot easily.

Either way I'm pretty happy, I get two guys who will get 300+ touches in Portis/Lynch, and Bulger/Holt should be a solid connection as their offense gets healthy this season (last season they were plagued with injuries). After Marshall comes off the one game suspension he can become a fantasy WR stud I hope.
 
I forgot about the smogon draft because I was watching Office Space and, quite frankly, my team has some high and very, very low points. I'm definitely sifting through the free agents on Tuesday because there are a few guys that I am definitely looking at. My team could have been so much better than this.

In the league that I'm doing with friends, I have Kurt Warner, Colston, Roy Williams, Donald Driver, Adrian Peterson, Jones-Drew, Gates, Hasselbeck, Dallas Clark, Chester Taylor, Devin Hester, Rob Bironas, and Jacksonville D. Jacksonville was one of the only decent D's left but I'm thinking about switching it for Seattle or Tennessee.
 
Personally I don't think Tso's team is all that "beastly," although I certainly wouldn't complain about it. What's his bench look like, too?

I, Mr.E, obviously have the best team in at least our league anyway. (Although my bench leaves something to be desired. Javon Walker, Phillip Rivers, Jerry Porter? Gee thanks, autodraft.) You guys are part of the other one. I sure hope Turner the Burner BEASTS this season since the autodraft grabbed him in both of my leagues Saturday. :/ It's promising he's slated to get a heavy workload, but the Falcons aren't exactly a good team right now.

DA, Burress/Housh/Evans, Addai/Turner, Gates. Graham, NE. Fred Taylor, Owen Daniels, Jerry Porter (who should be decent once he's healthy), Philip Rivers, Seattle benched, LOLJAVONWALKER immediately dropped for a decent waiver WR. Will probably drop Seattle early in the season if I can't use them as trade bait, since they share the Week 4 bye with NE. :[
 
Yea uhh Justin didn't PM us about the draft so I forgot...

But I got Brees, LT, Steve Smith, Witten and Jone-Drew anyway....so I'm not upset ;)
