Favorite place to get ice cream?

Anyway, most of my friends are crazy about Ben and Jerry's and Cold Stone Creamery, but I personally rather despise both. I don't really know how to describe B&J other than it tastes really "dry" and hard to me, and then I don't like Cold Stone because it's so greasy (and overrated, imo). And I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of mix-ins or toppings anyway.

So my favorite place is Baskin Robins, mainly because they have lots of flavors (my favorite being daiquiri ice). I also like gelato a lot (also because there are usually tons of flavors), but there doesn't seem to be any chain gelato places.

I went to a ben and jerrys place once in london, it was fucking gorgeous.. I had three scoops with melted chocolate on top which became frozen chocolate and aa my god I think I just wet myself in recollection
 
I go to a place called 'Dixons'. An exeptional ammout of scoops along with a reasonable price. Although, Pizza Hut's ice-cream is absolutely fantastic. Afterall, it is 'all you can eat' with as many toppings as you like; such as Smarties and strawberry syrup.

Yum.
 
I like Dairy Queen frozen yogurt. They'll dip it in chocolate for you and it hardens. Yum.

It is simple but it tastes like heaven.

Edit: Grocery store/Market/Super Market are cool, too.Can get Whipped Cream in the way.
 
There's a really good gelatto place near me that I go to before work sometimes.

If I am buying something I'll usually get Ben and Jerry's (Cherry Garcia and Oatmeal Crunch are personal favorites) but I'm not a big ice cream eater.

I meant places where you go out to specifically get ice cream (i.e., not grocery stores), but if grocery stores counted, Hagen-Daaz wins hands down. I wish their green tea flavor wasn't limited edition. :(

Lol I agree, but when I want something special I go to Cold Stone for some Chocolate and Cheese Cake with gummy bears or 31 flavors for some Gold Metal ribbon.
 
Alsways but then always when I go to the cariben with my parents I beg to go to baskin robins (they don't have that kind of fatmaking shops in Europe ;.;) I just love it there. It's expensive but worth it. Tho I'm such an ice cream addict I'll even settle for those 30 cents tubs :P
