A year ago I made a OU Female Fighting team with 4/6 teammates UU, (link here: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46349 ). Things have since changed with Froslass becoming BL, and more importantly, Latias becoming UU, helping this team significantly.
After a long process, I figured a stall team, with the classic suicide lead, Screen and Wish Support, weakness coverage, and phaxing moves would make this team a reliable defensive team that can stall out foes, and have checks to counters.
The Fem Fatales:
Froslass: @ Focus Sash
Nickname: Ice Queen
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Nature: Timid
-Taunt
-Spikes
-Destiny Bond
-Ice Beam / Shadow Ball
With a heart of Ice, frozen after years have gone by since her demise, Froslass has come back from her "beauty sleep" to capture some unsuspecting targets with some devious tricks up her white satin sleeves. With a Taunt, she forces her foes to do her bidding: Attack, as she "decorates" her foes field with her first set of Spikes, as she prepares to "marry" her targets forever with a Destiny Bond, ultimately taking her foe with her... to the netherworld. Finally, Froslass must make a choice before entering the battlefield, should she maintain her "Ice Queen" status and use Ice Beam to cover common foes such as Salamence, and Gliscor in case they come flying her way, or should she admit that she really is a Ghost and just use Shadow Ball to handle rivals like Dusknoir, and Latias?
This is a question, I as her trainer leave you, as I don't know which is more important. I might even consider Thunderbolt as that can handle her most scary foe... Gyarados.
Also, to be able to surpass her "Human shape" nemesis Jynx, Froslass decided that she indeed can fit one more trick up her sleeve... Rather than using her beauty to leave foes with a good night "Lovely Kiss", Froslass has opted to be the only Pokemon to be able to make sure she can set up Spikes with being Immune Rapid Spin. Sorry Jynx, you will have to settle for "Ice Princess"
Leads with a Taunt or layer of Spikes, while Focus Sash guarantees at least 1 turn of survival.
Destiny Bond works against Bullet Punch Metagross, discouraging them from using Bullet Punch after the Meteor Mash, and allows you another turn of Spikes.
Ice Beam deters Salamence, Gliscor and Dragonite later in the game, if Froslass is still around.
*I am considering making Latias the lead since Froslass is the only female Ghost-type, and is necessary to block Rapid Spin, and take Normal and Fighting attacks. Doing so would mean giving Froslass Leftovers and possibly changing Taunt for Thunderwave.
Latias: @ Choice Scarf
Nickname: Dragqueen
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Nature: Modest
-Draco Meteor
-Trick
-Hidden Power Fire
-Surf / Thunderbolt
Latias might be offensively weaker than her brother Latios, but defensively, she knows how to take a hit, and take it for the team quite well. Her list of practiced resistance are quite numerous and include: Fire, Grass, Water, Electric, Psychic, Fighting, and she has even mastered the Trait- Levitate. With these intact, she is able to switch into many of her teammates weaknesses, and show her foes how a Dragqueen (Queen of Dragons), rules her territory. To prove her power, while still being humble, like the true queen that she is, Latias carries a Draco Meteor and maintains a Modest nature for maximum offenses, as her item will aid in her Speed, finishing off her foes rather "quickly".
One must not forget that Queens do think alike, and like Froslass, Latias also has a "Trick" up her short white and red sleeves, except this time it is quite literal... As Latias can literally Trick her Scarf of Choice away to her foe, (probably because it just doesn't match her coloring), and "exchange" it for whatever her foe might be using. But that's not all, in order to keep her true powers secret, she packs a very handy Hidden Power Fire, to melt away enemy Steel, Ice, and other types that may try and prevent her and her fellow Queens' progress.
Finally, Latias enjoys making a vacation out of any situation, and in true Queen fashion (no pun intended), she plans to arrive in style... How you may ask? Well, by waving... or should I say, riding a wave, and waving goodbye to her foes as they witness a huge wave crash into them as latias hovers above it all.
By being extremely fast Latias can sweep many foes that are normally threats to my team, while also luring Blissey and Scizor in only to be met with a Trick+Scarf or Hidden Power Fire.
Additionally, it provides an appreciated Ground Immunity and Fighting Resist that will aid Miltank, Blissey, and Nidoqueen.
Surf is for Infernape, Heatran, and a few others like Gliscor, while I might replace it for Thunderbolt to hit Gyarados, since Latias makes an excellent counter to some of its sets- being able to come in on Earthquake, Taunt, Dragon Dance, and Waterfall.
Nidoqueen @ Black Sludge
Nickname:Toxiqueen
Ability: Poison Point
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 Spd
Nature: Relaxed
-Toxic Spikes
-Earthquake
-Fire Blast
-Roar
She is the center of my team:
She sets up Toxic Spikes.
She takes Rock, Electric, Bug and Fighting hits.
Roar works well with any Spikes team, and Nidoqueen puts it to good use.
Nidoqueen also absorbs enemy Toxic Spikes.
She makes a decent switch-in to Scizor, resisting Superpower, U-turn, and can take Bullet Punch pretty well. She also outspeeds and threatens with Fire Blast, something that is sometimes dropped on Nidoqueen for Thunderbolt, Roar, or Ice Beam.
Additionally, with Fire Blast, Skarmary and Bronzong don't get free switch-ins, which is great since they are Immune to Earthquake; the 40 Speed EVs allow me to outrun Skarmary.
*I think Toxic Spikes is her main selling point, but if you feel there are too many Immune Pokemon (Salamence, Lucario, Gyarados, Rotom-H, etc.), then let me know and I can put in Stealth Rocks, and free up a slot on Miltank.
Miltank @ Leftovers
Nickname: Dairy Queen
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 HP / 224 Def / 32 Spe
Nature: Impish
-Milk Drink
-Stealth Rock
-Heal Bell
-Body Slam
Heal Bell makes up for the fact I replaced Clefable with Miltank, as I now no longer need a status absorber. Scappy is so Clefable has something over Snorlax, and to Paralyze Ghosts with Body Slam like Rotom, and Gengar whom are Immune to Toxic Spikes anyways.
Milk Drink is to heal up instantly, and allows Miltank to stall out foes with Toxic Spikes wearing them down. I could also use Curse over Stealth Rock, and put Stealth Rocks on Nidoqueen, since it can then tank and Attack, however, I already have Cresselia with Reflect, so the real benefits would be against foes like Tyranitar who tank hardly anything from Miltank...
*Let me know if you think Intimidate Granbull, or Scrappy Kangahskhan would be better. Granbull also gets Heal Bell, while Kanga gets Scrappy, and Sucker Punch.
As stated, I need something to handle Tyranitar, perhaps Granbull? It has 120 Base attack, and Close Combat, as well as Intimidate, which means less EVs need to be invested in its already high attack especially if packing Close Combat, and can be dumped in Defense which will already benefit from Intimidate.
Blissey: @ Leftovers
Nickname: Stall Queen
Ability:Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def / 80 SpA / 176 SpD
Nature: Calm
-Wish
-Protect
-Seismic Toss
-Fire Blast*
Wish helps in general especially for Latias/Nidoqueen whom can't heal themselves, while Protect scouts and helps stall for Toxic Spikes damage + Wish to activate. Fire Blast actually can come in handy on predicted Scizor, Forretress, Lucario, and Heracross switch-ins. It's obviously not a 1HKO, but in conjunction with Spikes, and Stealth Rocks, it can at least make foes think twice about coming in.
Seismic Toss is my back-up offense, and works pretty well against low HP foes like Jolteon.
Cresselia: @ Leftovers
Nickname: Moon Queen
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Nature: Modest
-Moonlight
-Reflect
-Charge Beam
-Ice Beam
Cresselia is really great at dealing with the Dragons, working like a Lugia in OU to abuse Reflect, and Ice Beam. Charge Beam helps build up some SpA, and helps, albeit mildly, with Gyarados. With Moonlight, Cresselia can heal herself, which means she is less reliant on Wish, or SleepTalk. Even though Sandstorm can be a problem for Moonlight, Cresselia does not fear Hippowdon, and Tyranitar can be deal with by Nidoqueen fairly easily.
I find that I covered my types pretty well:
Miltank & Blissey: Fighting- Niodqueen, and Cresselia can absorb Physical fighting, while Latias and Cresselia have decent SpD to absorb Focus Blasts. Froslass is Immune.
Cresselia & Latias: Dark, Bug, Ghost, Ice, Dragon-
Dark- Unresisted by teammates.
Ghost- Miltank, and Blissey are Immune.
Ice-Froslass Resists Ice.
*Special Ice & Dragon attacks- can be handled by Blissey
*Physical Ice & Dragon attacks- can be handled by Cresselia, due to strong Defenses.
Froslass: Steel, Fire, Rock:
Steel- Unresisted, but Cresselia can usually handle Physical variants.
*Special Fire- is handled by Latias, Blissey
*Physical Fire- is handled by Cresselia, due to strong Defenses.
Rock-Resisted by Nidoqueen.
Nidoqueen: Ground, Water.
Ground: Latias, and Cresselia are Immune.
*Special Water- is handled by Latias, and Blissey
*Physical Water- is handled by Cresselia, due to strong Defenses.
With no Female Rapid Spinners, I had to opt for 1 Wisher, as Froslass is weak to SR. That is one of the reasons I chose Froslass as my lead, to let her battle without having to switch into SRocks on the first turn.
