I like Ferrothorn because it's extremely easy to deal with in-game, but it causes huge problems in competitive. That duality is fascinating to me.

I consider Ferrothorn to be one of the big catalysts for improving at the game, since it was the mon in which I first deliberately made a moveset that wasn't all-out offense. It thus also contributed to my focus on monotype, which was brought about because I noticed every one of said catalysts was Steel-typed.

Part of me wants to see Ferrothorn playable in Smash because I've never been a fan of long combos with tons of hits and I want to see Iron Barbs damage rack up on those who try.
